Had an over all poor experience. Hostess would not seat us when we arrived on time and our guests we late. Made us stand in the hall and was generally disinterested. Food was so so and extremely slow service causing us to get indigestion in trying to make our show. Will never return to this food factory.

Cool atmosphere. Table side guacamole and margarita selection fantastic! Food was fresh, tasty and good size portions. Eclectic decor with a good vibe. Enjoyed our dinner.

The food at iguana had zero seasoning and consequently no flavor. I would not recommend going here. Service was also very slow.

We love the Iguana Club. It's small, but every patron can enjoy the music from any table. The food is very good. Everything from Tex-Mex to entrees that feature steak, salmon or chicken fixed many different ways.
The service is great and the servers are so pleasant. There are always interesting people to talk to and there is a dance floor for those interested in dancing. We love Vince Giordano and his orchestra on Monday or Tuesday nights. They play wonderful music, and Vince has great commentary on all that is played. Wonderful evening!!!!

Dined here on Sunday night with out of town friends as pre theatre dinner. I chose the restaurant because our friends love Mexican food and for its proximity to The Broadway Theatre. We also chose it because it’s handicapped accessible and one of our friends uses a wheelchair. We were very pleased with our experience. Some of us ordered a la carte and some from prix fixe. All of the food was fresh and delicious, from the chips and salsa to the house salads and black bean soup through to all the main entrees. Only reason why I didn’t give the food a 5 star rating is because 2 of the entrees were served room temp and had to be sent back to be reheated. The issue was resolved quickly with friendly service. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Overall a truly great dining experience. Looking forward to going back.

This was our second time at Iguana and we're still loving it!! I had the crab meat quesadillas and they were really good! My husband had fillet mignon which was delicious!! tender and juicy. Their guacamole is also very good, but we had to add salt; I guess they don't use any salt to leave it up to the customer's taste.

Later after dinner we went upstairs for a little dancing and we really had fun up there. I highly recommend Iguana!!

This restaurant is perfect for celebrating birthdays! There are mariachi that sing along with the waiters and they place a wonderfully huge sombrero on the birthday person. I would recommend this place for a larger party of people!

It was my cousins bachelorette parry & we had a great time, they accommodated us so well, the staff was friendly, lively, & energetic. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne which was truly unexpected but greatly appreciated. Will definitely be coming back here and recommending this place to others!!

I’ve been to Iguanas many times in the past. However this time with a large group, the food arrived cold. We asked in the beginning for separate checks and that did not happen. The waiter didn’t even acknowledge this request nor did he ask at the very beginning. Sad to say the service was mediocre. I’m not sure if I will recommend or return after many years. This was very disappointing.

Servers were friendly, but there was a consistent problem with food service and quality. Appetizers were brought out at different times, entrees came out over cooked and cold, and fried ice cream came out melted.

We went to Iguanas on a Saturday night just before a show. We had reservations so there was no wait time and the restaurant looked busy. The ambiance is very intimate, low lighting and Latin style decor. The service was good during dinner, again keeping in mind that they were busy. During dinner the wait time for drinks, appetizers and entree was reasonable. the complimentary chips and salsa are not special, kinda like Applebees, but they are free (I think). Service was friendly. My wife had the steak stacked enchilada and I had the shrimp scampi. Both were tasty, and the steak enchilada was nice and cheesy. Good size portion. They have 3 course fixed menus that you can choose from or do al a carte. We made it to our show and then returned to Iguana for drinks, this is where service lost some stars. Bartenders did not seem experienced and were inattentive. That can't happen in a midtown Manhattan bar. The mixed drinks were prepared with an unbalanced ratio. The crowd is very nice. Mostly happy hour crowd or folks grabbing dinner and drinks before a show like us.

We went here for a post theater dinner/drinks/dancing.. the place was pretty busy, on a Friday night. The service was pretty slow at first. But it did get better throughout the night. Make sure u bring ID, or they won’t let you in, even if it’s just for dinner. Nice experience. Would definitely revisit, as it’s a good overall place for food and drinks, and if you want to stay later, dance floor downstairs and upstairs.

Iguana is very over-rated. It's noisy, food was lukewarm and bland, and we were very disappointed. Service was mediocre - we had to keep asking for water, drinks. Most surprising was the dessert menu - it had no prices! When we asked the waitress what things cost, she seemed uncertain and had to get someone else to assist. The next person said all desserts cost the same thing - $10. Perhaps they tell another table something else? We will not go back.

I liked the restaurant. The food was good, the drinks were delucious. But once we were seated, we had no water and 3 service people came by asking if we wanted water and yet we did not get water for 6 minutes. That's not good. So that is service, plain and simple.
