Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there. Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients. We’ll have several different house bitters & a house gin. The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

The Crawfish Beniegts are amazing! Shrimp and grits... also. We have never been disappointed with our dining experience at Ida Claire. We are older, we just go before it gets too loud.

I am SO GLAD we made a reservation, others had to wait more than an hour. Being our first visit, although the initial vibe wasn't peppy due to the hostesses lack of smiling and enthusiasm, the abundance of people gave me confidence that this place was still going to be a good choice. Dahlia was our waitress and she was phenomenal, completely turned our experience into something special.

Much too noisy to hold a conversation. Found a piece of broken glass in my meal. Manager was very apologetic and said it "had only happened once before". Something is wrong with their kitchen procedures!

The food was fantastic and the decor was so cute. Sadie was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable about the menu, wine and cocktails. She was a delight and a big reason we enjoyed the visit.

I love this place like a fat kid loves cake! The food reminds me of a southern Louisiana kind of feel; very welcoming and has a kick. The drinks and the food are beyond anyone's taste buds could imagine. I'd go back anytime.

I am not one to typically write negative reviews, but our dinner was very disappointing. I say this because the food was amazing but the service could not have been worse. I made reservations for a birthday and had very high hopes.

Reservations were made at 8 pm and we arrived on time. We were then asked to wait at the bar for our table to be ready. We waited at the bar for a good 15 minutes and no bartender even approached us to order drinks. Once seated at our table we ordered drinks and appetizers. then the table to our left was sat, then the table to our right was sat. it was very odd when the table to our left received their food and we still had no appetizers. Then the table to our right received their appetizers, we still had nothing (we were a party of 2, keep that in mind). Finally, we receive our food but no appetizer (45 minutes after we order). Apparently our order was never put in, so a kind lady came by and said the app was on the house. We understand errors get made so we get over the frustration and enjoy the rest of our dinner. *plot twist* We order another round of drinks, those come out fine. and finish our meal out by ordering the famous pie that Ida Claire is known for. A few minutes later our bill comes, with no pie on it. The pie was also forgotten! At this point I have given up and gave the waiter my card to pay out. The most frustrating part was that in the time that i had given my card to pay, it was realized that the pie was forgotten... so a new bill was made and they reran my card for the full amount on a brand new ticket. So then the pie came and my card was returned, being charged for the pie that was forgotten.

It was a really bad experience.

We would have only given one star, except the manager, Taylor Rogers, definitely attempted to correct the multitude of things that went wrong with our dinner. She was professional and articulate, and very understanding about the entire situation. Kudos to her for outstanding customer service. The server was friendly and courteous, but didn’t get much of the order correct. Food was cold, or items missing, and the cocktails didn’t make it until dinner had been served. (One of our party ordered a hamburger and it was the only good part of the meal.) Too much competition to warrant a visit to this establishment.....choose another.

Unfortunately it was not a good experience this time my biscuits were COLD twice and crazy but for 8.00 I got 4 tiny biscuits while last time I got 7 very inconsistent. My short ribs were dry with no juice for me to make it better. I honestly was not happy with this place!

We had a great meal and had menu items you don't find in most restaurants. The scene is fun and energetic does describe it. Our only critique would be that it is VERY loud. So if it isn't a 1:1 situation there would be no way to hear people across the table or 2 seats over.

Pimento cheese dip with sweet potato chips was over the top. Every dish was a unique combination of tastes. Eclectic atmosphere with lots of eye candy. Plus a Bohemian converted airstream for small groups.

We've been going here for a couple years, and our most recent experience is why we sadly won't be back. Although the food was creative and tasty, the service was unacceptable. Our drinks (mimosas) took more than 15 minutes to get. Two of the four people at our table were fed, and the other two waited another 15 minutes for food. By the time we all had a plate in front of us, two people were done eating, awkward. The table next to us got all their food together, but didn't have any silverware, couldn't track anyone down to help, so one of the gentlemen got up asking other tables for silverware they weren't using.

On our way out, we notices a leaky pipe in the parking lot that had hot steaming water and food particles coming out of it. It honestly looked like the drain for the dishwasher. We notified the front desk, but she seemed like she didn't know what to do so she ignored it. I'm pretty sure that dumping sewage water into a parking lot is not a good thing.

My entree was very disappointing because it was too spicy. I had asked the waiter before I ordered if the peppers in the dish were hot. He said they were like bell peppers and just added a unique flavor. Not so. I let him know, nicely, so he could accurately inform others. The biscuit was also quite disappointing. I could make a better one with Bisquick. The Mimosa was very tiny. The coffe was excellent as was the lemon buttermilk pie. It was great to be able to make reservations so we didn’t have to wait.

Best meal we've had in a long time and phenomenal service - there were 6 of us and she didn't even write our order down. I assumed it would get messed up - NOPE - she was awesome!!!! always there when needed refills, etc. Everyone loved their meal. Fried green tomatoes were fabulous!!! Hubby liked spicy chicken. Chicken and waffles were also a hit. My white sangria (not on the menu) was divine, as was pie for dessert. Can't wait to go back!

The place was hopping with prom group on one side of us and girls' birthday party on the other side, but never felt rushed and we could still hold a conversation.

Started with drinks, each very good. classic daiquiri, which is hard to find bartenders that can make one, old fashioned and a Mr. Burns. Appetizer of fried oysters prepared just right. We each had a different entree. Fried chicken, braised spareribs, and one couple split the spicey pork chop. Each was excellent and plenty of food to eat. For dessert we shared a chocolate cake, very good, but would probably leave off the bacon. Our server was Shelby. She was great, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Great evening.
