Ida Claire is a funky, southern influenced restaurant & bar open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is notched up southern but has influences from different regions. You’ll most likely see dishes you’ve heard of before but with little twists here and there.

Our sandwiches will be served on biscuits & we’ll have chicken & waffles on every menu. Brunch is obviously southern & will be a big part of what we do. The drinks are takes on classics like the Mint Julep but revved up & including a lot of house made ingredients.

The décor has a southern influence with antebellum charm & elegant polish, stated most clearly in our reworked air stream trailer parked in the garden for VIP reservations. The whole restaurant will feel like a quirky southern aristocrat’s home…just not exactly what you might think.

    This was our first visit for brunch and we really enjoyed it. We live near Houston and were meeting friends who live north of Dallas. All of us really enjoyed the food and our time at Ida Claire’s.

    Absolutely amazing restaurant! Great vibes and decor. Food was fantastic and authentic southern fare. If you loved grandma's cooking you will remember the flavors on your plate. Service was amazing and friendly and waitress went out of her way to make sure we got the peach cobbler right out of the oven and it was so delicious! Cannot recommend enough!

    This was our first time to Ida Claire. I booked it randomly for my husband‘s birthday lunch. We were more than pleasantly surprised. It’s a fun, upbeat, lively atmosphere. Very eclectic! From the moment we checked in at the hostess stand to the dessert and then the totally unexpected birthday card signed by all of the wait staff was exceptional. The food was second to none.  not to mention that our waiter Mateo was outstanding. We would ask to sit in his section again! Definitely will be back. This would be a fun place for a celebration!

    We were seated at a 4 top table with a booth on one side and high back comfy chairs on the other. Lunch was biscuits (please serve more gravy) followed by shrimp and grits. I can’t wait to come back!

    Thank you for bringing back the Duck Nachos - they definitely should be made a permanent item on your menu. The shrimp and grits were also quite tasty!

    Eh, it was nothing to write home about. The service was rather laggy and, rather than wait around and buy more drinks, we just ended up asking for the check and leaving. There are better places to go IMHO.
