About Iaria's Italian Restaurant

Iaria's Italian Restaurant was established in 1913 by Pietro and Antonia Iaria and is currently run by fourth generation family members, Matthew Iaria and Carla Russell. Entering Iaria's is like taking a step back in time...not much has changed over the years. The restaurant and bar both offer booth seating and the decor consists mostly of family and celebrity pictures. The Food: sauces, meatballs, sausage, pizzas are made in house and weekly specials are offered. The Bar: cocktails, extensive wine list and craft beer are all available. It is a popular spot for locals and celebrities. It is a great location for a small get together, business luncheon, holiday party or just a night out. The Iaria family looks forward to seeing you soon...

My favorite restaurant! I haven't been here for a bit and I forgot how great it is. I've never had a bad meal, but the lasagna is unique and very, very good. Don't expect Foodie pretentiousness here, just a good, family owned restaurant.

Average food Not as good as the olive garden. Maybe expectation of authentic Italian food was the mistake. It was busy and felt rushed. Was not a very relaxing place to enjoy dinner.

We have been going to Iaria’s now for 7 years ... every time we’re in Indy for the monumental marathon, this is where we come for dinner. It is a gem! Family owned and unique! So much better than some chain restaurant. Food is great, a lot for the price that includes bread, salad or soup, pasta with protein. Don’t have to buy everything a la carte! Service is awesome! Sandy has been our waitress many times and never have any complaints!! Everything is quick and delicious!! So happy we found this spot!!!

Outstanding overall experience. Appetizers, main course, and drinks all excellent. And convenient parking. We will definitely return to Iaria's for future dinner meetings.

Great food and friendly service. Iaria's is perfect for a special occasion or just grabbing a bite. The grouper piccata and fettuccine with clam sauce are my go-to favorites, but I'm never disappointed by trying something new. The spicy vodka sauce with tortellini was delicious tonight. Generous portions almost always ensure left-overs to enjoy later. You can't go wrong starting-off with the calamari and I love their home-made bleu cheese salad dressing. So many yummy desserts to end your evening. There's always room for cannoli! The best part of dinning here is feeling like one of the family for the night.

It was easy to take an uber there from downtown and it was perfect for the casual nice out after two nights of heavy dinners in downtown steak houses. Service and vibe were great. Well priced and large portions for the value.

Service was amazing! First time eating there and our waitress, Rose I believe, was so accommodating and helpful. The wait staff really tries to get to know their guests. We sat in the bar which was quieter than the main dining area. Can't wait to go back and dine!

We had a fantastic dinner for 2. Great soup to start followed by great lasagna and cheese stuffed pasta with sausage. Homey atmosphere, relaxed pace, coffee afterwards. Loved everything about it.

We've been in Indy for a little less than two years now and hadn't found an Italian restaurant we were thrilled with until tonight. Everything from our greeting, to the service, to the incredible food was just outstanding. The only disappointment is that it has taken us almost two years to find this place!

My husband's two cents: You have to try Mate's mozzarella... you won't be sorry!

Dinner was great as always. My chicken parm was quite over cooked but I did mention it to our server and he offered to fix it immediately. Also Thursday is half price bottled wine night so that was a perk.

My husband ate at Iaria's two years ago when he was in Indy for business. We were visiting Indy for a weekend and we couldn't wait to bring us there. It was delicious, I understand why it left such an impression on him. Joe was a waiter and her did a great job. We will be back!

Probably the best Italian food you can get in the Midwest. The Alfredo sauce was as good as my mother's, and she grew up in an Italian household. And the canolis are literally the best I've ever tasted.

Terrific as always. Only one disappointment. Have always been able to get manicotti even though it hasn't been on the menu for quite a while. Was denied when we asked this time. Too bad. It's a favorite. Maybe next time. We'll keep asking.

Group of us were in town for a convention. Bartender at the hotel, (Hilton on Market Street) recommended Iarias for good Italian food. He was spot on. Great food, and we were fortunate to have an excellent waitress, Rose. She was great and a lot of fun as well.

Have passed several times and we decided to make a date night, most certainly will be back! Nice wine selection and they are not horribly priced!! Food was delicious, and service was great! I literally felt like I was the only table because he service was fabulous and it was completely full in the bar and dining. Our server Barry was knowledgeable and all around excellent!
