About Iaria's Italian Restaurant
Iaria's Italian Restaurant was established in 1913 by Pietro and Antonia Iaria and is currently run by fourth generation family members, Matthew Iaria and Carla Russell. Entering Iaria's is like taking a step back in time...not much has changed over the years. The restaurant and bar both offer booth seating and the decor consists mostly of family and celebrity pictures. The Food: sauces, meatballs, sausage, pizzas are made in house and weekly specials are offered. The Bar: cocktails, extensive wine list and craft beer are all available. It is a popular spot for locals and celebrities. It is a great location for a small get together, business luncheon, holiday party or just a night out. The Iaria family looks forward to seeing you soon...

Iaria's Italian Restaurant Ratings and Reviews
ThiS is a pretty small restaurant, so I'd recommend reservations. We had early reservation and were surprised by the number of people in the parking lot waiting for the place to open.
The blue cheese and ranch dressings are delicious, salads were fresh. The lasagna is over-powered by the cheese. This might not be a bad thing for you, I prefer more meat, cheese and sauce complimenting each other. This is a family restaurant. If you want good comfort Italian food it's a place to try. If you want ambience and food presentation, seek out a higher end place. Overall. The dinner was enjoyable.
My family and I drove from Bloomington IN (about an hour driving distance) to eat here. We were looking to find a good Italian restaurant. I saw ratings for Iarias on the internet, and we decided to give it a try. We were definitely not disappointed. We all had the Veal Parmesan, and all agreed it is the best veal we had ever eaten. We have had veal in various places, but this was by far my favorite, we will definitely be making another trip to eat at Iarias in the near future.
Service and staff are great and I enjoyed the retro vibe. Food is edible but not great. Paid over $12.00 for a plate of over-sauced penne topped with ragu, 1 meatball, and 1 rather small sausage link and what I'm sure was shredded mozzarella. The whole thing was "baked" under a broiler. The whole dish tasted like something I could make at home with a jar of Prego, a bag of mozzarella, and some Italian sausage. My dining companion liked his dish which was the chicken Parmesan. Perhaps dishes which do not emphasize pasta are better. I've eaten here 3-4 other times with a similar experience. I doubt I'll be back.
We have been going to Iaria’s now for 7 years ... every time we’re in Indy for the monumental marathon, this is where we come for dinner. It is a gem! Family owned and unique! So much better than some chain restaurant. Food is great, a lot for the price that includes bread, salad or soup, pasta with protein. Don’t have to buy everything a la carte! Service is awesome! Sandy has been our waitress many times and never have any complaints!! Everything is quick and delicious!! So happy we found this spot!!!
Great food and friendly service. Iaria's is perfect for a special occasion or just grabbing a bite. The grouper piccata and fettuccine with clam sauce are my go-to favorites, but I'm never disappointed by trying something new. The spicy vodka sauce with tortellini was delicious tonight. Generous portions almost always ensure left-overs to enjoy later. You can't go wrong starting-off with the calamari and I love their home-made bleu cheese salad dressing. So many yummy desserts to end your evening. There's always room for cannoli! The best part of dinning here is feeling like one of the family for the night.
Service was amazing! First time eating there and our waitress, Rose I believe, was so accommodating and helpful. The wait staff really tries to get to know their guests. We sat in the bar which was quieter than the main dining area. Can't wait to go back and dine!
