Ambiance and food was excellent. Service was fenomenal and very friendly.
Great authentic Italian food. The homemade pastas and homemade desserts are amazing! Great value and a great Saturday night
I've been eating at I Trulli since they opened and have never been disappointed. The care and attention that goes into making a great restaurant is evident in everything they do.
I love this place. Consistently good food and service and you can hear. They work to make you feel part of the family.
Expensive. Food lousy - on par with coffee shop food.
Outdoor enclosed garden, with lucite dividers and overhead fans????
Bill was $160 with tip for food and wine. Wine not poured straight from bottle, but from a small carafe, so who really knows what that $15 glass of wine really was.
I had rabbit ragu, which had 4-5 shards of rabbit meat. Awful.
Overall a expensive, lousy meal.
Extremely attentive service and excellent food. Courtyard seating a pleasure.
Underwhelming. Service slow. Food, fair.
The food was disgusting and overpriced. Beyond embarrassed that I actually invited people I care about to a place like this.
The staff was great. We had an event to attend with only about an hour to spare. We had our appetizer and drinks almost immediately and our dinner in about 20 minutes. The food was outstanding! What a great experience!
Great experience for my Mom’s birthday dinner. Friendly, great food and wine, gorgeous relaxing back garden, highly recommend!
This is one of the hidden gems on the New York dining scene. Authentic and delicious old-school Italian food. They have an excellent selection of wines, but make sure you ask about the owners Wines from his Vineyard in Italy.
The back garden is always a pleasant place to dine.
Always a wonderful experience to visit I Trulli. Authentic (and delicious) Northern Italian cuisine with delightful, responsive service. Nice garden setting, good for larger groups or dinner for two.
Delicious food. Everything was great.
Great food and an outdoor dining area In the back added to a fabulous experience!
When I booked an Italian food restaurant I was surprised to have the full wait staff comprised of foreign nationals (not Italian) that struggled with communications. Not a big deal but unexpected
Food was very good, but at an average of over $100 a person, with 4 people I expected a little better.
Garden is very nice but unfortunately covered to the point where you can't tell its outdoors
Service was fast, food was great
i’Trulli is one of our favorite restaurants in Manhattan. Everything is spectacular and you will be treated as family.
Great food in a great space. I highly recommend.
restaurant week. Fried calamari and salad excellent. we shared two pasta’s. Both free fresh, tasted great. Drinks expertly crafted. Tiramisu very fresh.
very good food.
just a delight to dine in their beautiful garden, which compliments the exciting and delicious food
Amazing food, staff, ambiance - can't wait to go back!
The food was exceptional as well as the service. Our waiter, leonil was fantastic. As an Italian living in the USA, I. An say this is truly authentic food. It is like eating at home. The best Italian restaurant.
Great food and service. Fun bar. The owner is attentive and friendly. I’ve had 2 parties there and all my guests enjoyed it. Some of the servers have been there for years. Great people!
An Italian gem off of Madison Square. The meat balls are THE BEST--but then there is nothing shoddy about everything else on the menu. Glad they have survived the pandemic. Go and eat there OFTEN!
Amazing!!!!!!!! Family owned, incredible food and lovely atmosphere.
Dinner was amazing and the service was too. The waiters were very nice and went over the top when recommending dishes. Amazing place, food, and people.
Consistently good. Lovely atmosphere and you can hear.
Everything went well. We called to say we'd be a half hour late because we had to wait for our parking spot to become legal & they were fine w/it so that was very nice! Food/service/speed all excellent. Very enjoyable!
Food is consistently delicious. Sat out back in the garden where it was airy and well spaced, a pleasant change from Covid street dining.
Great food as always!
The food was mediocre at best. I ordered a dirty martini and got watered down vodka with a splash of olive juice. My boyfriend ordered red wine which was also watered down and bland. For dinner, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs which should be easy enough for an Italian restaurant in NYC. However, what they served me could have easily passed for a can of chef boyardee. My boyfriend ordered a lasagna. Which again should be easy for an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, the top was burnt and the middle was cold. When my boyfriend complained, the staff was quick to try and rectify the situation. Our waiter quickly took the food back and brought over another glass of the watered down wine. The chef made a whole new burnt but at least not cold lasagna and at the end of our meal, even though we didn’t order or want dessert at that point, the chef sent over a burnt ricotta cheesecake. The only good part of the meal was the octopus salad appetizer we ordered.
Nice Italian food. Good service. Table in back garden very nice!
Wonderful food and wine at this delightful restaurant. The service was attentive and atmosphere great for spending time with family.
Itruli is a wonderful restaurant. The covered garden is always a lovely spot. Home made pastas are divine.
I had dinner with my best friend and her husband for the first time in over a year. We sat on the patio/garden at I Trulli. The ambiance was lovely, the service attentive and the food was delicious. The wine we chose, a white and a red were from the owners vineyards in Tuscany. They were delicious and well priced. It was a lovely evening reuniting with best friends!
I highly recommend the ear-shaped pasta in rabbit ragu. Enjoyed every bite of it - texture and taste were both on point.
Our favorite restaurant in New York City. It's a beautiful restaurant, and we especially like the enclosed patio in the back with the Italianate murals. The food is authentic and beautifully prepared. The wine list, which used to be pages long, has been much reduced but is still extensive with wines of many regions at a wide variety of price points. The is attentive but not intrusive. It's a lovely place and we hope it will be able to stay open after the devastation of the pandemic.
Fabulous food. Great service. Nice wine list with excellent values and over the top bottles if you’re interested.
Saffron gnocchi was superb
Lasagna was among the best I’ve ever had.
Very professional staff.
I Trulli has always been a favorite, and coming back after so long was a welcome visit. Always great pastas, quiet but casual surroundings, always knowledgeable staff
