I have not been there for a long. The salad was good and the service was excellent but I did not think the food was a good as I remembered it. However, It may just be due to what I ordered - Spaghetti Pomodoro with meatballs. My wife's order of Wild mushroom and kale tasted better to me.

iGatti is one of our "go-to" places for a nice dinner out. We were there prior to going to a concert. The food was great. We had the gnocci, beet salad, saffron risoto with prawns and the chicken parmesean. All were great. There wine list is very good, but we gave up wine for Lent, so we didn't order any this time. The service was very good, too.

Slight hiccup with timing on the food delivery but they comped a glass of wine to make up for it. Food was simply prepared and very tasty. Italian classics menu with a few steaks thrown in for variety.

The ambience was perfect. The food was great. However, the options for wine were limited. Our server rushed us a bit too much and interrupted the conversations so everybody got a bit annoyed.

Service very good. Attentive without feeling like being hovered over. Food delicious. Portions adequate, except for dessert. Skimpy for the price. Would have been satisfied with a little bigger scoop of ice cream.

We arrived to dinner to discover the menu was significantly more expensive than the online menu we used to chose this restaurant and book our reservation. The staff would not honor the online menu prices. That's just bad customer service, so we left.

My only problem was parking at lunch.
The lot they once used is no longer available.
Maybe because it was Friday.

Lovely place for a lunch, nicely prepared pasta (spaghetti is homemade). The waitress was accommodating and friendly. I definitely would recommend it for good Italian comfort food

Wow, not sure why I have never had a meal here before tonight. Have lived and worked in Los Gatos for over 25 years and this is the first time dining at I Gatti. All I could think about during dinner is why? Why haven’t I been having great Italian meals here before tonight? Well, the good news is I found a local Italian restaurant that has great food and exceptional service! I had the Pear Carpaccio Salad and the Penne Bolognese, both were exceptional. I recommend hitting the Penne with chili flakes and Parmigiano-Reggiano liberally. I paired the meal with a 2009 Dana Estare wine...heaven. Also, one of the best tiramisu I have had outside of Italy. It was lighter and more flavorful than any I have had in the States.

Seated immediately for our reservation. It was a holiday night so service was a bit slow all around. Halibut entree was divine and our waitress very pleasant. Enjoyed a delicious martini, but it was not very cold. Still one of our favorite dining places. :)

As usual, the food was excellent. AND as usual, the service was NOT good. I have been here with my family no less than 15 times in the last three years, and the service is consistently poor, but we love the food. The water/bread guy is always on point however. The food comes out swiftly, so it is just the waitstaff. I don't know why we have to wait for the water guy to pour our third glass of water before we even see a waitperson. They often forget to ask us if we want pepper with our salads...or we ask for a glass of wine and it takes 15 minutes, sometimes getting it after our food is served, etc.. overall, it is really the lack of attention or sensitivity to the people they are serving. And like I said, this wasn't the first time.

After making reservations for 7, our table was ready upon arrival. The service was great except when we asked for more bread and butter, and water. We had to ask several times before getting it. It may have been because our server was at several other tables, and we maybe asked the wrong people, but you would think there should have been some communication between them.
