I Coppi Di Matilda is a fine dine Italian restaurant offering original specialties in the neighborhood. The restaurant is famous for its modest prices and genuine Italian dishes. The I Coppi Di Matilda restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining area with an Italian look and feel.
Ravioli in Salsa, Crostini di Polenta and Insalata d'ell Estate are the popular dishes at the I Coppi Di Matilda restaurant. The wait staff and the servers are courteous and polite while the service is prompt. The restaurant also offers a kid friendly menu. It is also wheelchair accessible and has a private parking.
Third - and last - time I've been there. Only the salad was good. My gnocci with duck ragu was over salted and my wife's spaghetti with seafood was tasteless. So many far better Italian restaurants in the same neighborhood, this one's a writepff
Loved this place. Amazing homemade pasta, staff was super friendly and took interest in our dining experience. Margarita was on point. Great place in the neighborhood.
I coppi do Mathilda is always a great choice. Excellent food and wonderful staff allow for a fabulous experience.
This wasn't a bad experience. We were just "underwhelmed" by the experience. We expect a lot more.
Professional and friendly staff. Quiet location. Delicious food with a mix of Italian and Mexican influence.
Very nice staff. Amazing food and beautiful place. Be careful though, BYOB doesn't work on Friday and Saturday.
The gnocchi I ordered was DELICIOUS. I would have given a 5 star review if that was the only thing ordered. However the rest of the meal was average. Certainly not bad, but nothing outstanding either. Good service and friendly staff. Families definitely welcome. Good spot for a casual meal.
The food, the service, the ambiance, always amazing every time we come. My sister and I discovered this spot and love it! Highly, highly recommend it.
We happened upon this restaurant by chance and we couldn't be more pleased. The service was attentive without being hovering. The appetizers we ordered-Christina The appetizers we ordered-a crostina and guacamole were excellent.
We had three different pastas and a salmon as entrées. All were very tasty and we will definitely be returning here.
Unbelievable pastas in a small corner Italian joint
Cute place. Casual elegance. Wonderful food. Caring waitstaff.
This was an excellent meal served in a very trendy and interesting neighborhood. The service was excellent and we were able to bring our own wine. Will definitely go back!
Excellent deal, friendly service and fantastic food - 2 glasses of wine, 1 appetizer and 2 pasta entrées for $20/each.
i Love this place. Very homey atmosphere. The tagliatelle is delicious. It just melted in my mouth.
Food was great and it is an awesome family restaurant. Staff was great and they had an awesome gluten free pasta. I also recommend the spicy vegetable side dish. It was great!
Have eaten her several times and have never been disappointed with my meals at I coppi di Matilda. Food is consistent. Service is cheerful. I highly recommend this oat of the way spot.
Since we really enjoyed our last dining experience here, we made it a point to return to this cute place that is just a bit too FAR east. The M9 bus is the most convenient way to get here. The food was outstanding as expected. The coffee is exceptionally good. We also feel that the place is very clean. However, there were only 3 groups for dinner. If the cafe was more centrally located, it'd be full. We recommend this place highly.
I literally have nothing negative to say--the owner and servers were so incredible and the chef was amazing. I highly recommend all of their homemade pastas, so fresh and delicious!
Really enjoyed dinner at Matilda's - there were 6 of us celebrating 2 birthdays. Food was wonderful and so was the staff. Definitely will go back.
The menu has great choices, they mix Italian and Mexican foods very creatively. The food was fresh and very well presented. The prices for drinks were very reasonable and good wine choices. I enjoyed the fish tacos and the pasta dishes. This is not like the old I coppi but a wonderful surprise new version.
The food was delicious. We both ordered the ribs which were served with mash potatoes. The meat just "melted off" the bone. The orange hibiscus sorbet was also great. Our waitress was kind and attentive. We recommend this place highly. It is worth the "trek" to the far-east village.
The service was horrible. And the food was mediocre at best.
Firstly it was cinco de mayo, I thought the mexican side of the restaurant would come out, however no drink specials. There was one waitress working the whole restaurant and boy was she testy. Would not let me use my scoutmob coupon even though there were no specials. The food the was fair; my friend got a paninni and there was a whole cube of garlic and an inch and a half red hot pepper, her mouth was on fire! So I thought the safest bet was was the churro- worst choice ever!! They tasted like Chinese noodles, there was hardly any cinnamon sugar and the chocolate it was paired with was too strong and over powering with mexican flare. Overall an Epic Fail of a cinco de mayo dinner. I hope their Italian food is better.
Everyone in our party loved their meals, which were generally Italian-Mex fusion, leaning a bit more to the Italian side. The huitlacoche ravioli were original and delicious. Attentive service and a great vibe.
I like this place. My only complaint was the French toast for brunch was extremely small. It was delicious though.
The restaurant and the show are both fantastic!
Service was great and you never felt rushed. Liked the mix of mexican and italian food and liked the fact that they were very good at guiding about coeliac safe food.
Will recommend to others, thank you.
I have been here several times and the food and service are always excellent. The owner, Esteban, is warm and welcoming. Fresh food mixing the Italian and Mexican cultures (for example, rosemary steak tacos with arugula). On my most recent visit, I really enjoyed the passion fruit margarita, using fresh fruit puree.
I had an amazing jalepeño margarita, some delicious bistec tacos and some polenta with creme fresca. All was delicious and our waitress was super nice and accommodating. I would go again just to sit at the bar (which is dimly lit with tiles all over the place)
Its a nice restaurant for a small group. Its very intimate so the atmosphere is what won me over here. What did not win me over was the food. I had the lasagne and it basically burnt the top of my mouth and was overall subpar. Not sure if I would even remember to recommend but the atmosphere was nice for dinner.
unappealing on almost all levels. the place is a mess! food is blah -we had the guac, the lamb tacos, the spaghetti and the lasagna.
Mexican and Italian fusion....wasn't sure what to expect but everything was amazing . I loved the pork tacos, the salmon, the goat cheese raviolis, the red wine, the chocolate dessert with Carmel icecream. The service was excellent and owner is very accommodating and friendly.
This is a great little place with awesome happy hour deals and yummy drinks. The food is good but portions pretty small. I'll be back for the brunch.
I went to Matilda with a group of five and we really liked the unique menu and fun drinks. The waiter was attentive and open to being creative with us on drink choices. Music playing in the backdrop was retro Euro-80s which we enjoyed (a little Echo and the Bunnymen anyone?). Prices are reasonable. I will go again!
This was recommended as a "hip" spot, which it wasn't, and it was really light on AC on a very hot day - but the Mexican Tuscan food was very good and well presented.
Each meal had a way of incorporating italian and mexican food and it was all crazy delicious.
Good food and decore, very bad service.
Thought this was a great combination of mexican and Italian. Service was really nice and very accommodating. My only critique was that I thought the food was going to be really spicy (for the items flagged with 3 faces) but didn't find it spicy at all. Think when go back will ask them to really kick it up a notch. Will return as thought atmosphere and food was great.
We always enjoy dining at Matilda's. Very friendly owners make yhou feel like welcome guests.
The food is great. They do a great job balancing Mexican and Italian flavors to create new and interesting dishes. The drinks were very good also and one of my friends copied down a drink recipe because he really wanted to be able to make the delicious drink again at home. The owners are very involved and very friendly. One of the owners was our waiter and the service was very good. The drinks are comparable to many other similar place, but the food prices are pretty low so it's definitely a good deal. I was here with a group of 7 people and they had no problems accommodating a somewhat large group. This was my third visit and I would definitely go back.
The food was okay. The service was a bit inconsistent. There were two large parties dinning while we were and it was unbelievably loud. This was exacerbated by the loud music. It was almost impossible to hear my dinning companions. Overall, probably wouldn't go back unless someone else selected it.
