   Came here to celebrate my birthday (I have been to this location before) and was greeted with our server saying happy birthday which was nice. The people working here are quite nice and professional, I think my server forgot it was my birthday cause I always think a place like this would offer some sort of dessert covered by them saying thank you for coming to their establishment to celebrate, but there was none. I even heard another table over had a birthday song going on mid dinner. Food was decent but the prices are a bit high for the quality. I guess you are paying for the location (Whistler) and the name (Hy’s). Don’t think I’ll come back again.

   I had one of the best meals in my life. The service and atmosphere were lovely. Food presentation and portion was perfect. Best chicken I have ever consumed. I highly recommend this place for a special occasion.

   The service was outstanding. My partner and I came to celebrate our anniversary with our newborn, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even making it easy to bring in our stroller. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. Our server also recommended a fantastic bottle of wine that paired perfectly with our meal.

   This is a great steakhouse. Great food and service. Fixed price menu was delicious and well prepared. All of the favorites!

   I had good expectations about this place, but unfortunately, the food that we had was not good at all. The so claimed Caesar salad tasted like mustard and we didn’t have a good meal as we expected.

   We both had the gorgonzola filet cooked medium rare with the carrots and asparagus followed by a creme brulee which we shared; all very good. Service was great and we really liked not being rushed between courses or from our drinks to start.

   While I know Hy’s is an institution in Whistler I struggled to find the appeal. Especially with other great options in the village.

   Excelente lugar para comer relajarse y disfrutar en familia , excelente calidad en los alimentos , definitivamente mi favorito en whistler , para comer carne considero que es el mejor , sin duda seguire visitando este restaurante

    Ambiance was nice, staff were polite. Service and food however were not remotely acceptable. When I see my steak will be $70 before the sides, I expect my sides to arrive with my food. I also don’t expect to eat my meal without a drink, where was our server?? Our server was exceptionally polite, but did not check in on us except to take the order, remove the plates and ask about dessert which we had planned on, but left as we just could not spend another moment with bad service. She was very busy with another table most of the evening. We felt very abandoned and ignored. We had a very rushed girl dropping off the food. Nobody checked on the flavour or if the steak was cooked to our liking. The broccoli was not roasted broccoli as described, it was doused in soy sauce, soggy and unedible. They did remove it from the bill, but it would have been nice to have a vegetable with our meal. Not once were we checked upon. Very disappointed and will not return ever. We have been to Whistler several times and always wanted to try here. We will stick with our tried and true places. Some more expensive, and some less, but all with excellent food and service! I can’t begin to express how disappointed this experience was. They have food, but that is it.
