Hussong's Cantina - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
I was there for a business luncheon that I was hosting. The restaurant ran out of gas to cook with so the waitress was very apologetic but the manager was nowhere to be seen, to help with the messaging. We waited 90 minutes for our food to arrive and would have left if we could have gotten in to another restaurant - the conference was busy as were all of the dining establishments. One of our diners arrived 20 minutes later but they did not pull her order to match with ours despite the gap in time waiting for them to have gas restored to the restaurant kitchen. We waited an additional 30 minutes for her food and it wasn’t until we called the manager over that the issue was resolved - the waitress advised that the cooks would not pull that late order up to the front of the queue even though she was with us.
The tostada salad was delicious but the kale salad was disappointing - so were the tacos.
very disappointed. 1. celebrating my friend's 50th birthday. she wanted a mariachi band to sing happy birthday to her! 12 family members met in Vegas to celebrate. I called ahead and I was told that the band arrives at 6 pm. our reservations were at 6:30 pm. we left at 8 pm - they never showed up. I discussed with the manager my disappointment - he states "try back later". They/staff NEVER did sing happy birthday to her! 2. the rice and beans are horrible/bland. chips do not taste fresh. the salsa was sweet? but the tortilla soup was pretty good.
Awesome experience here! I brought my Mom here and it was our 1st time in Las Vegas. EVERY SINGLE PERSON on staff from manager to bar tender was warm, swift and so bubbly! The food was delicious ESPECIALLY the guacamole and shrimp tacos! It was my Mom's birthday and they surprised her with ice cream and churro 😊 I would DEFINITELY recommend this place!!
Hussong's never disappoints. The margaritas are a bit pricey but they are delicious! Getting a pitcher is the best way to go! The basket of chips is huge and the salsa's are very flavorful and unique. The service is friendly and the food always comes out quickly. I go to Las Vegas every year for a trade show and always make it a point to eat one meal at Hussong's. Delicious!!!
I love it! Good food, good drinks and the mariachis are the best in town! One of the best vegan food I have tried. I have gone there in business, with friends, with family and on a date. Every time has been an excellent experience. My favorite place to go for dinner.
Go here often. Love the atmosphere and the selections are amazing. Largest complete disconnect tonight was the service. The server seemed overworked and inexperienced. Inattentive and seemed to have a high level of anxiety as he was literally sweating more than what looked comfortable.
Took 12 minutes just to come around and introduce himself and take the drink order. Got the drink order wrong. We didn't get chips and salsa until after was asked post-appetizer.
Overall long periods of not checking back and overall attentiveness to the customer. I've ran restaurants in this town, so it was easy to spot out the manager on duty who was carelessly walking the floor and chatting with the female staff with little care or attention to the problem areas.
Not the best show for a restaurant of such high traffic on a Friday night.
