Everything we had was amazing! Highly recommend. Delicious.
Fried chicken at lunch was delicious!
Pimento cheese appetizer was AMAZING!!
When I’m back in Charleston we will definitely be back!!!!
Managers and staff were very attentive. We were initially in a room with several LOUD diners. They quickly set us up on the porch and we had a wonderful evening
The food and service are definitely good. The bartender was a little pretentious when someone in our party ordered but not a deal breaker. Fairly elegant meal.
The best meal I had in Charleston! We will definitely return the next time we are in Charleston.
It was amazing
Very good food and service and a local gem! The waiter was great serving our table!!
Celebrated my sister’s birthday. Food was delicious and satisfying. Very good service.
This place was all it was cracked up to be. Remarkable food and exceptional service. Talk about fresh food - our table was by the back window and we watched them rolling in the whole, recently slaughtered hogs.
The food was the best ever! The hospitality was great. Exactly what I hoped for. Can’t wait to go again.
Wanted to go to this restaurant for 2 years. Finally got my wish. It was everything I imagined. Hope to visit again in the future. Long drive from Michigan but well worth it.
Excellent food and service. Tanya was our server and she had the best recommendations! All around a wonderful spot for a very unique and delicious food.
Fantastic Lynch. Love the unique menu. NO BETTER farm to table restaurant! Thanks so much. Hope to return again. Vonda from Florida. Chris was a great attentive server.
This is a beautiful location and the service was very charming. I know the chef is all about local and timely but menu felt somewhat limited and I would have loved for vegetable based choices. That said, the pimento cheese crostini was excellent.
We had a very delicious meal. I love how creative and local the menu is.
Simply amazing food and very creative options. Excellent drinks as well!!
Wonderful meal, we got to sit on the upstairs porch and it was beautiful. Great Saturday afternoon!
Don't like to be a proverbial hater but we thought it was really overrated. Not sure why it's so popular. Appetizers were heavy and pork loin looked like head cheese and tasted like Piggly wiggly bacon.
Great dinner and service
Our waiter, Parker, was the best! He timed our service as we requested and appeared calm during the busy lunch service. The very best bloody marys, great cornbread to share at the table and the shrimp and grits were superior. Can't wait to try them at home from Brock's Heritage cookbook. Wish I didn't live across the country so I could go more often.
Food was good! Service on the slow side.
Dined at Husk for a special birthday lunch. Lovely room. I had the fried chicken which may have been the best I ever had. Service was perfect.
Husk was recommended by a friend, it is in a really neat building, we enjoyed a window table that looked out on the porch. It was nice for lunch, we had the pimento crostini, bloody Mary’s, Husk burger and fried chicken. Drinks and food were delicious. We had ordered another side that never came and did not enjoy our server but overall it was a good experience.
Pickled shrimp app excellent and plenty of it. Shared it. The flatbread accompaniment went perfectly. I had the cornmeal fried catfish. Crispy and light; wonderful rice bed with tang and crispiness. Excellent bourbon list and solid wine list. Good service and ambiance. It is pricey but worth the money. I was a tourist but did not feel like I went to a tourist trap. I felt like I went to a good restaurant with local flavor.
Food was creative and delicious!!
Nice interior at the restaurant. Service was slow, and our server was just a little too weird (looks and affectation). Hostesses weren’t particularly friendly either. Food was interesting but nothing to write home about.
Great service and delicious local food! Restaurant is in beautiful home with charm and elegance. Food is local and outstanding with attention to the smallest detail. I would go again and again. Great drinks and wine list. Knowledgeable staff.
Husk did not disappoint for lunch in Charleston. Unique menu that is delicious! Must get the pimento cheese appetizer!!
Put us outside on patio and had special invitation menus for our lunch. Repeat for casual lunch!
Not sure what the Husk hype is about. Our worst dining experience in Charleston . The flavors are all over the place and not particularly good. Don’t get the duck it is not what you would expect and a rip off. The broccoli salad is a mixed up mish mash of weird flavors. They serve your dinners in a bowl which makes eating the entree a challenge. The food just doesn’t taste good. Service was spotty . The place is very loud, just not what you expect for so called sophisticated, southern dining. Yuck !!
Unfortunately, this restaurant is too concerned about turning tables then it is about overall customer experience. They were 25 min late in seating us and at least 5 other tables as well. Their fall back is to send people to the whiskey bar next door, but that too is overcrowded. They will continue to erode experience if they continue to try to do this. The hostess at the front was unprofessional and rude to us. She came across as arrogant and matter of fact about the whole thing. I think with the reputation and rating such as Husk, they need to do better about this initial impression.
Bartenders over in the bar building were personable and attentive... host staff was friendly, our waitress was a perfect mix of attentive but not overwhelming... she just knew when we needed something and the food from the ham biscuits to the entrees and dessert was all amazing!!! We will be back again for sure!!!
Birthday. Everything was great. A complimentary birthday dessert would have been great but, otherwise, my husband and I were pleased!
Husk is a delicious fresh take on southern cuisine. Loved the bread and the cornbread. Get both. Arugula and beet salad was amazing. Excellent service.
We loved the food, service and atmosphere! The wine list was very limited and lacked a lot of good American wine vineyards.
Great restaurant in a great location with great southern food.
Service was great --- very friendly and attentive waitstaff -- Appetizer chicken wings were so yummy --- everything else was good but did not live up to hype!
I've been to Husk on many other occasions, 2 other times for brunch. I was a little disappointed by the menu this time. The only grits were vegetarian. They were ok, but honestly, I was sad there wasn't shrimp and grits on the menu. That should pretty much be a brunch staple. Service was also on the slow side. The bloody Mary was amazing, though!
The service was wonderful. Extremely knowledgeable wait staff, who advised well on pairings. The oysters and duck where the best I have ever tasted. The entire experience was first class. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know visiting Charleston.
I had waited a long time to visit this restaurant and it did not disappoint. I look forward to my next visit
