At Husk, there are some rules about what can go on the plate – if it doesn’t come from the South, it’s not coming through the door. The restaurant is as casual as it is chic, evoking a way of life centered on seasonality and the grand traditions of Charleston life. The food here is AMAZING. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here again. Loved the whole atmosphere. We had a great time! Would highly recommend the wings and the pimento cheese appetizer!!

Simple, classic menu items that are taken to the next level. Overall, everything lived up to the hype. Off the lunch menu we ordered the pimento cheese crostini (amazing), pig's ear lettuce wraps (excellent), fried pickles (very good)and smoked brisket sandwich. Brisket sandwich was the only thing we wouldn't order again, it read well on the menu and was executed nicely, but wasn't as refined as the other dishes. We would rather have had more apps instead. Bloody Mary's were the best we have ever had! Highly recommend these!

We were lucky enough to score reservations when visiting Charleston and I will say that Husk is a must eat place! The food was pretty delicious. We got the cornbread which was just ok, ours was a little burnt. We also got the pig ear lettuce wraps, which had great flavor but the crunch of the pig ears was really grossing me out (totally just me because I had never had pig ears). I had the shrimp and grits which were amazing!! And my husband had the butchers sandwich that had ham and brisket—DELISH!! The local beer, Boy King IPA is a must get if you are into IPAs. Overall, it was a beautiful spot, not too expensive and their menu is always changing.
