   The Husk Nashville is my favorite Nashville restaurant!!! The historic antebellum house lures you in and the updated contemporary decor, mixed with the charm of the old, presents a wow factor! The menu is local, seasonal, creative, and worthy of exploring because everything is beautifully plated and delicious!! You are treated as a guest as soon as you enter and service is always great with knowledgeable staff offering suggestions and able to describe the menu. Southern charm and southern delight!!!!!

   We found our waitress pretentious, as well as the wine list. There was too little shrimp with the catfish. Try slow-baking the chicken skins so that the skin is incorporated rather than just on the back...also, was overdone. Enjoyed the atmosphere though there was a better table available and we were not offered it...should have asked.

   Amazing in every way! Totally met my extremely high expectations, due to the exposure Sean Brock & Husk have received via Anthony Bourdain, etc. From the moment we checked in & were greeted with a, "Happy Anniversary" to the seating, the menu, the service staff, to the food...it was all wonderful! Special mention of our server Willow. She was/is fabulous! Wonderful recommendations, friendly, willing to engage in conversation while staying focused on our needs & wants--just a great experience with her! While we live in Oregon & were in Tennessee for business & to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary, we look forward to our next trip to Nashville, whenever that may be, so that we can dine at Husk again!    Husk NEVER disappoints. I hadn't been there during lunch service and it was awesome. Food was fabulous--we shared the corned beef sandwich they had just added to the menu and it's my favorite take on a Reuben that I've ever had! We also shared the southern vegetable plate and those girts are impossible to beat. Also loved to know that it's so great for a lunch meeting-totally efficient service while not losing one little bit of the high quality meal I always know to expect from this great restaurant!

   The decor is lovely, setting in a large old home. Great service. Interesting food options. Tasty drinks. A different spin on Southern food. Quite sophisticated but friendly.

    Although we have been to Husk several other times and really enjoyed the food, this time we were disappointed that the menu gave no clue that the potato hash had pork in it or that the salad dressing also had pork in it. Given religious and allergic concerns, there should be fair warning on the menu description that pork was a part of the preparation. They did make new potato hash without the pork and we were given olive oil for the salad.
