Got there at 6:00 started with a cocktail and app ordered our meal and then we waited almost an hour before it was served. We complained several times to our waiter who apologized but that was it. Meal finally arrived it was just ok. Very disappointed !

Hi Ellie, I'm sorry to hear that your service took this long, definitely not our standard. Our kitchen did their absolute best they could this night. It was 120 degrees inside our kitchen, 3 of the biggest restaurants in town closed due to the heat in their kitchens. Unfortunately in heat like this our kitchen wasn't as quick as they normally are and we served as many people as we could with all the other restaurants in town that closed for the night. Hopefully you will try us again, appreciate your understanding. Cheers

Table was very nice , waitress was very good Drink order was slightly wrong asked for lemon brought to table with lime . Ordered the special grilled swordfish and some kind of mixed vegetable moosh not appealing . The swordfish was not grilled very well , looked more like baked and little undercooked so sent it back and it came back looked same just a little hotter . They obviously don’t know what grilled means

The food was fantastic, but the service did not meet the mark compared to the quality of the food. While it was not bad, it was not as outstanding as the meal. Our seat location was good, but there was a slight noise level issue and the overall ambience inside is a bit dated. That being sad, my wife’s stuffed lobster was the “best meal I’ve ever eaten.” And, she is a bit of a foodie and is hard to please to that level.

Everything was a 5 rating except the dining room was so hot and waitress was dealing with other tables and was not around by us. I had to leave as I felt sick. As soon as I got outside it was cooler and felt better.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years, but I feel it’s food quality has slipped, as well as the overall experience. Very good service, but the bar area needs updating/cleaning. Portion size was small for some items, and priced high. I expect to pay at a top steak house, but this is no longer a top restaurant. I hope some improvements can be made.

Excellent as usual. Michele was our waitress. We have her as our server ever year when we visit Kennebunkport. She’s a delight! Food was outrageous! Filet was perfect as were the sides! Returning on Wednesday before we leave!

Food was amazing: We started with mussels and then one of us had a tuna burger which was huge and perfectly cooked. The other had a house salad topped with lobster meat which was also delicious. The wine pours were generous and our waitress was very very personable and fun to talk to. We sat outside and she enthusiastically welcomed our pup and brought him some water. It was a great, relaxing lunch! The Hurricane is a favorite restaurant of ours. We will be back!
