It’s a very nice place, but the food arrived way too fast and was not hot. The server was friendly and efficient.

Food is great but but he service was poor. I think it was a special case.

We were both very pleased with our choice of shareables we ordered. Loved the crab and corn fritters. Great informal place.

We had the worst crab cakes on the eastern shore.

Our very first visit. Quaint. Charming. Exactly what you would expect at such a place in such a place. We shared the butter lettuce salad with fresh summer strawberries and feta cheese with sliced almonds, and a cup (though I imagine in the colder months one could make a meal out of a bowl) of the notorious cream of crab soup. We stayed with the delights from the sea with the Rock Fish and crab special and the BBQ salmon. Both were expertly prepared and arrived at our table piping hot from the kitchen. We enjoyed classically prepared hand crafted cocktails and one should also note they have a wide array of decadent martini offerings at a fair price ($13.50). Already looking forward to our return in the winter months ahead.

Dinner at the Tidewater Inn was very good. We did not consider other area restaurants due to weather conditions. Overall, OK.
