Food and ambiance amazing. High end supper club. Place was slammed yet service very accommodating. Will be back!
It was a special occasion kind of dinner, so the higher end price was warranted. Our food was wonderful, exactly as expected if not better! Our server was very attentive but not intrusive, very kind when we told her it was our first visit. We felt comfortable and safe in their restaurant. It was so nice to eat out again!
Incredible service! Food was perfect and delicious. We were treated like royalty and the hostess was wonderful with our son! We will be back!
It couldn’t have been any better! I’d be hard pressed to say which was better - the food or the service - just fantastic!!! Consistently delicious 😊... thank you!
Really good food...a bit pricey but nonetheless very tasty. Can't beat the views of Lake Como and the Gary Player Golf Course.
So good! Jay, our waiter, was a peach! Wonderful food, nice atmosphere, not rushed so all around top notch evening.
My husband's Birthday & 1st time there. Treated us like long-time customers!
Although "pricey"-A Value compared to top restaurants in Chicago where we live.
Mussels Insanely good! Rib-eye & Lobster & that loaded Baked Potato ALL incredible.
Definately lived up to reviews on-line & personal recommendations! Thanks for a
GREAT Dining experience - We'll BE BACK!!!
The restaurant was extremely loud and no servers where masks any longer. We are not mass vaccinated yet and seemed to early to disregard masks and over crowding
First time at the Hunt Club and we'll definitely go again. The mussels were amazing and highly recommend. Had the wagyu steak with crab cakes (the special) and it was so flavorful and tender. I love wagyu!
I had the salmon with butternut risotto which was absolutely delectable! The Caesar salad was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. They have an amazing selection of wines and full bar to chose from. The service was stellar. I would recommend anyone wanting a splendid meal while overlooking a gorgeous view to enjoy an evening here! I finished with a true Brandy Alexander- they actually make it the way it’s supposed to be done, with vanilla ice cream. I will return again and again. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Dinner in an old mansion was wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. There were very mixed reviews about the desired attire. Since it sits on a golf course my recommendation would be business casual. My husband wore a collard button down, nice jeans and dressy shoes and fit right in.
Overall a decent experience. Food was ok. Not worth the price.
We arrived 15 minutes early and were seated immediately! Our server was an arrogant but funny waiter. He knew the menu well! He didn’t refillmout wine or water. We order Ed the mussels! They were great but few. We had the tomahawk! It was a nice piece of meat ! It was too dfatgybfor my wife Nd we both ate about 8 oz of steak! I recommend not getting the tomahawk ribeye. We had asparagus and wine! All was great! Improvements Re to eliminate the arrogance and serve to Mgr customer! Don’t get the tomahawk and drink lots of wine!
My husband and I did a weekend trip up to Lake Geneva and made a reservation at the Hunt Club Steakhouse. We were very pleasantly surprised with the wonderful food and the great service at this restaurant. Jay was our great server and he took the time to explain anything on the menu. The cedar plank salmon was very delicious and my husbands strip steak dinner was just as good. My husband ended his meal with an inhouse made cheesecake which he really enjoyed. Overall great experience. Highly recommend the Hunt Club Steakhouse.
Good food in a
The service was great. The food was nicely presented, but for the price verses the caliber of the food my opinion is a miss. When a table of four spends close to $400 on a meal it should be memorable. It was good but not "outstanding". If they lowered the overall price of things marginally it would be better value for me.
Fantastic steaks & sides! Great service & wonderful views Toi!
Loved our dining experience, the gentleman bar tending Sunday night was friendly and good conversation. Our waitress Stephanie was also delightful and attentive. Food was outstanding, had the filet, Brussels sprouts, whipped mashed potatoes and Marsala mushrooms. 10/10 recommend!
The food was excellent, well prepared with lovely presentation. This is a great restaurant for a special occasion.
Wonderful anniversary dinner. Lovely setting. Our waiter was very helpful. Service was outstanding
everything about it was great - cannot wait to go again
I ordered the waygu New York strip med rate, it came very rare, salad was fine but lettuce wasn’t chilled properly so it was a bit limp, my Prosecco wasn’t cold enough and dessert was fine
The food was absolutely delicious. Yes, it’s a little pricey, but well worth it. You can tell there is a Great Chef in the kitchen.
Excellent food. A bit pricy but not out of line with the quality of the food and service.
ANOTHER MUST VISIT IN LAKE GENEVA. WE ALWAYS COME HERE. HAVE BEEN HERE FOUR (4). IN SIX YEARS, A SPECIAL EVENT RESTAURANT.
The good was presented well but taste didn’t justify price
Another excellent dinner
Excellent stakes. Aged and tender. Marbleized perfectly for a medium rare filet!
The manager on the evening slot made an awkward interaction between one of the waitresses at the restaurant and my husband and me. I simply waved over another waitress I knew personally at this location to catch up as we have not seen each since last year. I was just saying hello and asked for drink. The manager decided to take this opportunity to rip into the waitress I was speaking to mid conversation in front of my table. Being a women, it was absolutely uncomfortable to see a women berating a fellow female in front of me as I as the GUEST wanted to say hello to the waitress I knew. My whole night was thrown up for grabs, and I made sure to speak to both the waitress my family knows and the woman who was supposed to wait on my table to express my regrets for saying "hi" to the waitress my family knows. the manager never addressed the issue with me. She walked past my table a number of times throughout my dinner and NEVER addressed the awkwardness she created or to apologize for HER uncouth actions. Woman should empower women and not beat them down. I was extremely perturbed by the managers actions and ask that the Hunt consider having leadership that builds up its employees and makes their guests feel at home instead of making them feel like kids that are being dragged into the corner by someone who clearly needs management classes. What was supposed be a romantic evening turned out to be a perfect example of how far as a nation we still have to come to
provide a strong platform for women and the basic necessity to
treat your neighbor as you want to be treated. Thanks May and Pamela for making my husband and my night!
Food and service were fantastic. Some of the best I've had. Our daughter is a vegetarian and they were very accommodating with a special request. Restaurant is set up in "rooms" and would have enjoyed it just a bit more had we been in one of the rooms with windows.
Still excellent food and attentive servers, but the manager was just so rude to us. Tried to book our favorite table, but since we're only annual visitors and not locals, apparently we can't request anything (and tables near where we wanted were free for an hour but she apparently wasn't going to budge), and get a dismissive attitude. Maybe we caught her on a bad night? Over $300 for a party of 4, so you'd think the manager might lose the snotty attitude.
Although my server was negligent, it was very obvious that was extremely uncharacteristic to the restaurant itself. I want to stress the fact that this is a restaurant definitely worth going to. The atmosphere is calming, the environment is very comfortable and accepting of all walks of life, the food is out of this world amazing (no joke, amazing!), and the manager has to be the sweetest, most genuine, and attentive manager I have ever had experienced. It’s truly a beautiful place and anyone would be missing out if they didn’t try it. This is not a fake review, my waitress sucked. But this was quickly acknowledged by all other staff and it was fixed without me even having to complain. I felt both understood and cared about. I was also watching the other servers and it was clear that the entire staff would exceed anyone’s expectations. Would I go again? 100%.
Our first dining experience at Hunt Club and we LOVED IT!!! The service was wonderful and friendly. The dining room was scenic with a beautiful golf course view and a lot of windows to overlook it. My husband had the salmon entrée and I had the twin lobster tails, and both were unbelievably delicious! Lots of flavor and cooked just right. We will definitely be returning when we are back in Lake Geneva!
The whole Hunt Club experience was fantastic! Our server was extremely knowledgable and informative. He said the mussels appetizer would be the better than anything we had ever had...and he was absolutely correct!! They were SO good! The ambiance was beautiful and all of our dinners, while somewhat pricey, were extremely tasty and worth the money. Personal recommendation: Start with an old fashioned...you won't be disappointed!! We will definitely go back next time we are in Lake Geneva!
Glad to return to one of my fav restaurants.
Everything was great! Worth every penny! The only thing was the noise level, but that's always a role of the dice, not really the restaurant's fault
Without question, Hunt Club is our favorite restaurant in the Lake Geneva area. Food & drinks are great, staff is very friendly, professional and accommodating, and location is exceptional.
We had a great dinner! Thank you for everything
Everything was great service was just a little slow.
Our experience was okay. My husband's birthday steak is still the talk of the household. However, I am the foodie of the house. The breast (wing and rib meat?) of my $34 not-quite-half chicken dinner was so dry I couldn't saw through it with a steak knife. After that I wasn't able to reclaim my enthusiasm for the dinner. I was offered a dessert I didn't want or a coffee I had no interest in to make up for an entree I was excited to experience. My husband had a good time and the truffle fries were delicious. We won't be back, It was too pricey for such an imperfect dinner.
