Food was terrible. I do not understand how this place is high ranked.
Fantastic and delicious!
Really good modern Middle Eastern. Highly recommended. Excellent mezze with house made pita. Great kebabs. Fun spot.
Delicious food, fabulous service.
Our favorite of the group.
Such delicious Mediterranean food. Fried artichokes were incredible. Would definitely recommend.
We felt rushed, we didn’t have time to digest before next course came
The waitress bring us the check without asking for dessert or coffee. When we asked her for a coffee, she answer in a very bad mood, like if we were bothering her. Incredible
We loved everything about the restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the service was great. We were a group of 10 and were treated very well. I will absolutely come here again and would suggest it to friends.
The crispy cauliflower and the pistachio feta spread were two of my favorites.
They even provided a battery charge unit at the table for everyone's cell phone.
However, there was no handicap accessible bathroom on the main level of the restaurant. This made dining with a senior citizen stressful. The staff was very receptive to our needs and were able to provide access to a bathroom at a neighboring restaurant, but it required moving a senior citizen with limited mobility down the street to use the bathroom. Just a thought.....
Loved shuka! Will definitely be back.
Shuka was an excellent restaurant. The food was delicious (you must have the crispy cauliflower!) and the service was very good. I would highly recommend it. If I lived there, I would be a regular.
Food took longer than I would have liked to prepare but overall pretty good. The noise level was quiet enough for 6 of us to have a good conversation at regular levels
This is a favorite. Weather in its prior name Hundred Acres or currently as Shuka we have enjoyed every meal we have had here. This time we had brunch and found it to be just wonderfully exotic and interesting.
The staff is gracious and attentive from the moment you walk in to when you walk out, we were seated immediately, the restaurant is lovely so pretty although a bit noisy on a deservedly because it is so delicious busy Friday night, and table service was great but even better than all that was the food. Go with friends and share everything because there are dishes that should not be missed.
Must haves - crispy cauliflower perhaps the best cauliflower I have ever had and not just because it’s delicately fried to perfection but it is served on a bed of an amazing sauce; fried artichoke is often great and theirs is; spicy carrots meze perfectly seasoned; steak kebab so flavorful and tender; chicken shawarma a perfect combo of savory sweet flavorful; cauliflower entree hearty delicious...
Everything was just great- the food, the service, the atmosphere- so looking forward to going back!
Great food and service. Cocktails were amazing. Vibe is energetic and fun.
Fresh, delicious Mediterranean that's a step above on flavor. No bland food here! Everyone in my party looks forward to coming back.
Note to restaurant: SLOW. DOWN. We literally received all our 6 plates within 12 minutes. It felt like we couldn’t scarf it down fast enough and though most of it was delicious, we felt like we were being intensely rushed out. Waitress was lovely. Noise overwhelming (music could stand to be lowered). Hope it improves.
Amazing. Went with my boyfriend who is Lebanese and thought the food was fantastic! He was even so happy to see that they had a Lebanese beer on the menu. My only complaint is that the noise level was a bit loud, but I would totally go back again regardless.
This continues to be one of our favorite "new" discoveries. Excellent brunch options, and really tasty and copious portions. Friendly, and helpful service. Only complaint - which isn't unique to Shuka - is the noise level. But we'll out up with that anytime, given the quality of the food.
We used to live in Tel Aviv, and were expecting a more authentic experience. The food was just good, not great. However the service we got was pretty atrocious. Dishes came out of order and after long delays. We waited for appetizers to be cleared roughly 30 minutes. Wine glasses were under filled. Dishes were missing. We are locals, and have never had such terrible service at what is regarded as a nice restaurant. Its for that reason that we wont be back. We probably also wont be visiting the other restaurants under the same management
Amazing. Obsessed with this place.
The focus here is on middle eastern cooking and fresh ingredients. Everything we had was fresh, well prepared and seasoned. Great wine list, good service. We had a long lunch and were never rushed or ignored. I’ve also beeen here for happy hour before which is a great value and fun.
a great restaurant. Excellent food. I was in NYC for a week and came 2 times for this place.
I am vegeterian, and there you can find good and delicious options for vegeterian clients.
Waiter was not attentive and had too many tables.
Everything was delicious, staff was attentive and was committed to insuring our experience was a great one.
Cauliflower, tabouleh, kabobs (lamb and chicken) recommended
Went here for brunch and everything we ordered was delicious. I had the chicken shawarma and halloumi, and my boyfriend got the shakshuka and kale salad. Very delicious, will definitely return!
Our second time in Shuka (first time a date night) - this time with friends - and again, we left very happy! Food is amazing! Appetizers are out of this world - order all of them!
This was my second time at Shuka, and it continued to impress. Everything was incredible.
Food and drinks were excellent. Artichokes were a must! Unfortunately, service was odd and a little off putting. There were two of us and we ordered 3 appetizers and an entree to share. Instead of pacing the food so we could savor and try each dish, we were brought everything at once - at an extremely small table. Not only could we barely fit food on the table but things got cold while we ate. We mentioned it to the server and he was really snotty - telling us that we didn't specifically ask him to bring it separately. Really? We need to tell a restaurant not to bring appetizers and entrees all at once? I'm not sure if they were trying to free the table or it was just a bad call? Anyway, I would definitely try it again, but would encourage mgmt to think about taking a little more customer-friendly approach to service.
Great food and great service. The staff was amazing
Ignored reservation from open table claiming it was a Liz up.
We arrived a bit early for our 7:30 reservation. We didn’t get seated until 8:00 but we were provided a round of drinks for the wait which was appreciated. We had the Brussels sprouts and three different types of kabobs. Everything was delicious! Would definitely go again.
A great option for a meal with friends. Amazing service, creative cocktails, nice wine selection and tasty food. Great for sharing!
Delicious, upscale mediterranean food. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and i will definitely go back whenever i'm craving flavorful roasted vegetables or a shakshuka!
Delicious mezzes, especially the crispy cauliflower, za'atar fries and sweet potatoes; savory, with depth of flavor and wonderful plating.
I brought friends from out of town who wanted to break out into a new food experience. Shuka didn't disappoint. They enjoyed the Mediterranean profile, as did I. I had the shakshuka which was well spiced, but not overly so, served with grilled bread. My friends especially loved the fries that came with the lamb burger. The bloody marys were delicious!
Great atmosphere and service, amazing food. We had a wonderful time
Great meal - amazing service at the bar
It was kind of weird. The pita bread was old, dry and hard. My poached eggs were solid. Honestly once u make that mistake, u cant come back from that. Nice place though in terms of ambience.
food was great, friendly and quick service - would definitely recommend
