About
Amazing place! The food is excellent and the service is attentive. I cannot wait to go back!
Had a wonderful experience with an engaging waitress. The wine and Shuka Feast were incredible and exceeded expectations. Plenty of food plus some more for 2 people. Delicious all around.
It was a very good brunch. Restaurant feels cozy and warm. Food was healthy and clean. Many good options.
Great food, service, fun atmosphere
If I could give the food 6 stars I would!!! Always delicious. Most of the staff was good but our waiter seemed a bit annoyed so i felt rushed, but other than that shuka remains one of my favorite restaurants.
Outstanding middle eastern cuisine, nestled in the West Village. Beautiful decor and nice ambience.
Great food, portions are perfect for sharing! We got the kale salad, beet tzatziki and chickpeas for starters to share. We got the chicken and steak kebabs as our mains, both were seasoned really well and cooked to perfection
Since discovering Shuka, I've become a regular. Food is delicious, the service always friendly and welcoming. It's cool in a very low key casual way.
Great neighborhood restaurant. Well planned layout. Comfortable cushioned seating. Our servers were friendly. Food was tasty. Great place to just relax with friends.
Very good food. Different and tasty. Good service
Good authentic cuisine..
Beautiful place with a date or group of friends..
Conveniently close to my apartment.
Great neighborhood find!
Great food and service we really enjoyed our meal
Our new favorite place
I’ve been there multiple times and id’s always delish! Service is also very good. Very attentive. I would highly recommend it!
Very cute place. Came here for brunch with some friends and enjoyed it thoroughly. The hot Turkish coffee didn’t do it for me, but the waitress didn’t charge me for it. Great atmosphere and ambiance.
My second time at the restaurant and I still had a great time and thought the food and service was good. Would go back again and have recommended it to friends
Dinner was amazing; food was excellent and service was impeccable
In & out within an hour. Good food but not something you can relax and enjoy - each course followed within seconds of the last
Lamb kebob is outstanding. Must order.
I met a friend for lunch and we both loved it. The food was incredible and the service was just as good.
Charming space - lovely service - very tasty fare - Beet tzatziki to die for! Delicious shrimp skewers & more. As an added bonus the food is very colorful making for great Instagram pics!
Waiter was great and food was awesome as well.
Loved this place when it was 100 Acres and now love Shuka. Food was excellent. We had many starters which were shared and then we shared the lamb chops for the table. Wonderful! Cocktails good; bourbon list good; wine good as well. I will return soon to this place. Desserts also interesting.
Pleasantly greeted by Hostess at entry for lunch. We were quickly approached by Server who gave us some tips on the menu. Food arrived as it was ready. All the food was tasty, well seasoned and portions sufficient. Bar area was lively and bright. Beet hummus and chicken skewers were delicious and perfect to split for a light lunch.
The food is amazing at Shuka! Best thing to do is go with a lot of friends and order family style to try more. LOVED IT!!
The food here was absolutely spectacular! The restaurant atmosphere was electric and it was very well decorated. It was a bit loud and hard to hear our conversation but I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back soon!
Food was fabulous as always and the service great. The staff is warm and welcoming and David insures that all is right
Good service and food! Ordered the shrimp skewers and it came with a side of pita and sauces. Would definitely go back.
This is my go-to lunch spot. Excellent and savory dishes made with care, friendly and attentive staff, beautiful setting. The Med Plate and the Shakshuka are my two faves, but the lamb burger is excellent too.
Service was slow at lunch that was not very busy. They did not have very basic things that restaurants should have (no straws and not the anti plastic movement they still could have a paper alternative for an $8 mint lemonade). My friend ordered the lamb burger and they had no tzaki as a side sauce when she asked (this is a Mediterranean restaurant?) and when I asked for a coffee, I was told they had none! My falafel was hard and over cooked.
I have been here before but this was terrible. I work for a large media company and need places for working lunches. I was embarrassed to have asked my friend from another large media company to come downtown for such a subpar lunch.
I will not be back anytime soon.
Very nice service if a little pushy. Food is fresh and tasty.
Excellent atmosphere and cost/benefit for food, service and environment!
The restaurant is very loud!!! But, the hostess was accommodating and moved us to a table that we could talk without shouting. The servers are great and the food was delicious, but not like, wow, I have to go back. Overall, if you are in the neighborhood, a great dinner. We were not and after a $30 Uber ride and return, not worth it, but it was a good dinner.
We had high hopes. There were a few bright spots: beet tzatziki and cold brew coffee. Yaffa omelette was good, spinach feta scramble was bland, and Mediterranean platter was pedestrian. Nearby falafel shops produce much better versions with more variety for at least 1/3 less cost. Simple requests were simply too much to handle, such as cooking the scrambled eggs well done. To be fair, the manager took the item off the bill because it took so extraordinarily long to return with the corrected order, which was a nice thing to do. But by then, we had inquired of almost every member of the staff except the manager! We sat by the open windows and even then music levels were so loud it was difficult to hear across the table. And this was brunch! We will not return or recommend. Sorry, Shuka.
Everything was excellent. Will definitely be back.
The food was good and they have a lot of options. I definetely want to go back to try more plates. Staff is very friendly. Nice atmosphere, it's much bigger than what it seems from outside.
The food was amazing as always.
Shuka was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad that I went. The restaurant, itself, is gorgeous, and the food is delicious.
Shuka, is great - casual and fun place- Especially in the nice weather it is all open to a quiet MacDougal St. The food and service were very good.
Went here on a recommendation from a friend and it was great!! Nabia was a friendly and attentive server, and I will definitely be going back (especially for those fried halloumi bites...YUM!)
Everything was top notch--the food and the service. Our group ordered a wide assortment from the menu to share and there wasn't a dish we didn't like. Our faves were the halloumi, fries, and stuffed squash. There is legit something for everyone and the prices are beyond reasonable. I will so be back again to try even more dishes.
