Good Food! Nice service
Lovely restaurant in SoHo. Food was tasty, amazing spinach pie. Great service!
We loved our dinner at Shuka.
Good service and the food was creative and very tasty.
Lively crowd and a nice ambience.
Would recommend it highly.
Prices were totally reasonable!
Great food, amazing service, complementary sparkling water, cute space- A+ dining experience
Wait staff very knowledgeable and helpful about food restrictions.
The food was absolutely delicious. I preferred the small plates over the large mains, but great meal for sharing!
Great restaurant-great food-great ambiance and wonderful service!!!
Had a wonderful meal here in the beautiful little dining room that (I think?) used to be La Provence. Service was great, the food was outstanding, the price was right, and it’s vibrant but not so loud that you can’t hear yourself talk. Would absolutely go back.
Staff was attentive and extremely friendly. Food was outstanding, Middle Eastern/Lebanese influence. Think warm spices, feta, za’atar, phyllo dough, lots of dips. Better off getting a bunch of mezzes than the mains. Will definitely be back not only because of the food but suck lovely service.
Food was delicious! It was a little loud, but not too bad, and service was fantastic.
During a trip to New York we came across Shuka looking online for good restaurants in the soho area. Reviews could not have been more accurate. AMAZING food and great atmosphere. A very lucky find on our last night in New York. Would recommend to anyone looking to try a mix of med style food. Thanks for a lovely meal!
Great girl dinner or bigger group dinner place
Shuka is one of the best restaurants
Great reviews aren’t always the truth. Trendy restaurant that leaves you saying not really. I don’t think I’ve ever left a restaurant hungry, but Shuka was a first. The whipped feta with pistachios was nice but just a few minutes later the main course arrived. Was it precooked and just heated?? Very very disappointed. $22 for a single skewer of steak and $18 for chicken. No sides, no vegetables other than a little mixed salad with no dressing. I will say the Waiter did suggest ordering a side, but $10-15 dollars for a veg side, seriously. Oh wine list, minimum $10-25 a glass.
Sorry, I guess village dining isn’t for us.
Innovative and tasty fare. The Lahmjoun (flatbread with a thin layer of ground beef and tomato) and smashed sweet potato appetizers were especially noteworthy. In fact, everything was excellent, except the duck breast kebab was under-cooked. Service was generally quick. I'd be happy to go there again.
Another great meal from the team that brought us Vic’s, Rosie’s and cook shop.
I was disappointed in the food this time. This is my second time eating there. Service was very good and I enjoy the atmosphere. The falafels were over cooked.
I love everything about this place. Great food + lovely interior decor. It's perfect for girl's get together or a date :)
spectacular food, standard wine, but way too loud. recommended during "off times"
Great vibe! Great food! love all their restaurants, Cookshop on Tenth, Vic's and Rosie's.
Great food. Great service. Very accommodating. Great for groups and parties.
The entire experience was fantastic. We had our three school age children with us, and the owner and staff were very accommodating. The food was amazing.
Food was terrible. I do not understand how this place is high ranked.
Fantastic and delicious!
Really good modern Middle Eastern. Highly recommended. Excellent mezze with house made pita. Great kebabs. Fun spot.
Delicious food, fabulous service.
Our favorite of the group.
Such delicious Mediterranean food. Fried artichokes were incredible. Would definitely recommend.
We felt rushed, we didn’t have time to digest before next course came
The waitress bring us the check without asking for dessert or coffee. When we asked her for a coffee, she answer in a very bad mood, like if we were bothering her. Incredible
We loved everything about the restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the service was great. We were a group of 10 and were treated very well. I will absolutely come here again and would suggest it to friends.
The crispy cauliflower and the pistachio feta spread were two of my favorites.
They even provided a battery charge unit at the table for everyone's cell phone.
However, there was no handicap accessible bathroom on the main level of the restaurant. This made dining with a senior citizen stressful. The staff was very receptive to our needs and were able to provide access to a bathroom at a neighboring restaurant, but it required moving a senior citizen with limited mobility down the street to use the bathroom. Just a thought.....
Loved shuka! Will definitely be back.
AmaZing fresh food with BIG portions....very nice decor and aesthetic
Shuka was an excellent restaurant. The food was delicious (you must have the crispy cauliflower!) and the service was very good. I would highly recommend it. If I lived there, I would be a regular.
Food took longer than I would have liked to prepare but overall pretty good. The noise level was quiet enough for 6 of us to have a good conversation at regular levels
This is a favorite. Weather in its prior name Hundred Acres or currently as Shuka we have enjoyed every meal we have had here. This time we had brunch and found it to be just wonderfully exotic and interesting.
The staff is gracious and attentive from the moment you walk in to when you walk out, we were seated immediately, the restaurant is lovely so pretty although a bit noisy on a deservedly because it is so delicious busy Friday night, and table service was great but even better than all that was the food. Go with friends and share everything because there are dishes that should not be missed.
Must haves - crispy cauliflower perhaps the best cauliflower I have ever had and not just because it’s delicately fried to perfection but it is served on a bed of an amazing sauce; fried artichoke is often great and theirs is; spicy carrots meze perfectly seasoned; steak kebab so flavorful and tender; chicken shawarma a perfect combo of savory sweet flavorful; cauliflower entree hearty delicious...
Everything was just great- the food, the service, the atmosphere- so looking forward to going back!
Great food and service. Cocktails were amazing. Vibe is energetic and fun.
Fresh, delicious Mediterranean that's a step above on flavor. No bland food here! Everyone in my party looks forward to coming back.
Note to restaurant: SLOW. DOWN. We literally received all our 6 plates within 12 minutes. It felt like we couldn’t scarf it down fast enough and though most of it was delicious, we felt like we were being intensely rushed out. Waitress was lovely. Noise overwhelming (music could stand to be lowered). Hope it improves.
