We dined early wit a very elderly relative. The table was well situated so all could hear. The service was spot on. The entrees were well prepared. Overall quality was great. We do not live in Denver but will make an effort to eat here again’
The food and service at Humboldt is always excellent! We were there for brunch and I was really surprised at the quality of their mimosas, the champagne was reasonably good and they did not drown the Champagne with orange juice....they were quiet good!!
Food portions very small. Every item extremely overpriced. Eg just a blah hamburger was $17 even poor presentation. Food also did not taste that good.
We love this place. The food is very tasty and the service was fantastic. Our only disappointment was that our favorite appetizer was not available - they ran out of Brussel Sprouts!
Service wasn’t great - very nice waitstaff but quite slow.
Waitress left dirty glasses and dishes on table. She was pushy then absentee. Food came way too fast. We told her we wanted to visit. That was why we kept telling her to back off, we were not ready to order. We were drinking. Except between glasses when we had to ask staff to find our waitress. She wasn’t pushing anyone else to order btw. I’m really starting to wonder if it’s because we are above 55? But hell, we always over tip! Let’s see...put in the back of the restaurant. Pushed to order. Runs away like we have the plague. We won’t be back.
Entire experience was excellent
As always, great. It is in our regular rotation...
Charles was our server and was phenomenal. My girlfriend and I hosted her very particular parents for dinner and the entire staff worked to make it a smashing experience. I cannot thank or compliment the staff enough for their outstanding, professional, and personally engaging work. I would recommend dining at Humboldt to absolutely anyone looking for a wonderful night out!
We love this restaurante. The food is always very good and has great service. I love the chicken chilaquiles for brunch. Dinner dishes are fantastic with great options for fish, which is sometimes hard to find.
Mother’s Day brunch was fabulous! We love this place for all occasions!
I am from Venice, Florida. I came to Denver to spend Mother's Day with my daughters. Found Humbolt's on line and was not disappointed!! Great food, service and ambiance.
Everything was great. Our server, Kaylee was awesome. We had oysters, scallops, and sea bass. Great drinks too.
One of our favorite go-to spots. Always great fish and vegetarian options for one daughter, and literally the best burger in Denver.
This is my favorite restaurant in Denver. Food was fabulous. Ambiance is fabulous and service always superb. Highly recommend for any occasion.
Trout dip outstanding! Wish there were more happy hour appetizers
The food and service was great! Also enjoyed the live music.
Food very fresh and tasty. Great service and ambiance.
Love the restaurant. Great table great service. Super environment. Will be lovely to sit outside once the weather warms up.
As has always been the case, Humboldt’s did not disappoint in any way. Our server was excellent and fun. The choices on the menu and daily specials were interesting and unique. Each one of us found our selections to be excellent.
Great service and food!
Great food, good live jazz, and attentive staff. We will definitely be back.
The food and wine list was excellent, but it was our server Charles who really made the experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable and made sure to surprise us with a dessert for our anniversary. Highly recommend and we can't wait to go back!
Food was delicious. The veggies however had too much butter.
The service was great, and the food overall was not bad. I would eat here again. Some things were spectacular, like the fried broccoli and the key lime pie, but most things were just "meh" and kind of pricey for being average food quality. The drinks were crafted quite nicely and were very yummy. I would not avoid this place, but would come back for drinks and appetizers.
Humboldt has become a staple in our foodie repertoire and we go at least once a quarter. Their fresh menu and drinks coupled with high level service makes this a davoeite
We love Humboldt Farm & Fish. Great food, great service, and creative drinks.
Still the best burger in Denver. Everything else was delicious too. And not terribly expensive.
Overall good and will go back. The service was good. The waiter recommended the short rib but we’ve had better. It was cooked well but flavor was one dimensional. Tuna tartare was fresh but maybe a bit heavy on rice. Good wine selection.
Our waiter was amazing. Great personality!
The food was delicious and dinner was an excellent value. The Wine manager was very knowledgable, and helped us pick a great bottle. This is not a super-fancy place, but the service was good, and the main courses (steak and trout special) and desserts were fresh and very tasty. The jazz was also very nice to listen to during dinner. We will be back!
My husband and I went here for Saturday dinner during their live jazz night and it was wonderful! The jazz was lovely, the food was fantastic, and the service was superb. Their seafood is very fresh - get the oysters. We got the following dishes and would recommend them all:
Oysters, fried calamari, roasted beets appetizer, half portion of the goat cheese ravioli, short ribs entree with a side of sweet potato puree. We will be back.
Very good food. Very good service. But extremely expensive and painfully loud. Would not suffer through that again.
The food and waiter was very good. The noise level from the jazz music was a little too loud. While enjoyable, the volume should have been turned down so people did not have to lean over to table to hear and speak to their dinner guests. Otherwise, enjoyed our dinner out.
As always, food & presentation & service was top o' the line. We'll return when we're ready for a special evening.
Seriously good food. A welcomed go-to for good food in a great space.
My husband & I wanted yo celebrate it being Friday, so this restaurant was a great way to bring in the weekend
One of my favorite restaurants in Denver. It is a terrific menu; nothing trendy or weird or gimmicky. None of that "small plates" nonsense that is viral among today's restaurants, with menus full of things that don't go together to the point that you feel as if you are eating all the leftovers from someone's refrigerator. Of course you can CHOOSE small plates if you want, from their extensive list of great appetizers, which is as it should be. The shishito peppers and the calamari are wonderful here. The entrees are all phenomenal, and the chocolate cake; divine.
Your food and service are wonderful, but the best part is the live mellow jazz on Saturday nights! Love the ambiance...thanks for having live music!
