This was our second visit and we will return for many more! The food is great, prices are OK and the staff is excellent. Server knows product and the management, in particular Jonathan, is spot on. We will return and most definitely bring friends and recommend to others.

Food is amazing. Apps were chargrilled oysters and steamed shrimp which were both outstanding. We also got the blue crab fingers which were ok, pales in comparison to the shrimp and oysters.

Dinner was the redfish on a half shell. Fish was perfectly cooked served on a sizzling pan. Collard greens and mac and cheese sides were to die for. I ate every single bite.

Dessert we had bread pudding, lemon icebox, and beignets. We licked the plates clean on all three.

Bonita, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and an absolute pleasure to speak with.

Fantastic Service!!!!! I love Hugo’s. The manager and his service team are amazing. The weather was great and we sat outside. The food is delicious, the drinks are great and the service is amazing.

Had a reservation, but needed to wait for seating. Manager came over, acknowledged our wait time and apologized for it (that was nice). Then manager gave us an appetizer for our trouble (EXCELLENT on her part)!! Can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here and have brought many friends. Will definitely be back again.

Single biggest gripe... Please, oh PLEASE turn up the air conditioning. My entire party was sweating during our recent visit, but it does seem to be warm in there most times. Will go again, just waiting for cooler weather! Hahaha

Im not sure if I would recommend or come back. The server was so busy she couldn’t attend to the few us on the patio. She got my husband’s order wrong. She didn’t listen to him at all. And, the service was extremely slow. This was our first visit because we heard they have apalicola oysters. Will probably find an restaurant to try for seafood. Too many in Atlanta to choose from.

I really wanted to like this place but we were all disappointed. We were a party of 10 and we were all sweating within minutes. The restaurant was SOO hot that it was uncomfortable. We would have left if we had a smaller party.
The oysters were good, a little small but good.
The service was amazing. Pierce took care of us and he was the highlight of our night.
The food came and it was just okay. Potatoes on the side, boiled potatoes with nothing on them. Fish was meh. My husband got the stuffed shrimp and he was so disappointed with how unstuffed they were. After we left, some of our party said they saw a crawling animal. Will not say that it was!!
Maybe our expectations were high but I know none of us will be going there again.

Even though we had a reservation for a few weeks, we were put in a corner by the wait station . We spent our entire evening screaming to try and hear each other. Our server, Lamar, was outstanding and very menu and cocktail knowledgeable. Drunks were good and wine list was ok. If you are not crazy about seafood, there are only a couple of options to choose from. A little over priced for the food you get, and there are no baskets of bread, bread sticks or any other table share during cocktails.

This was our first experience dining at Hugo’s but will definitely not be our last! We really enjoyed our meal and the service was very good... in fact, everyone that works at Hugo’s seems to work hard, enjoy their job and treat the customers well! The valet parking was an added treat since parking in Roswell on a Saturday night can sometimes be a challenge. The Valet parking attendant was friendly and very welcoming! Casual, fun ambiance on a summer night. Highly recommend!!

We thought the food was very good and met all our expectations. The couple we were having dinner with had some issues with their check - evidently, the sauce that the gentleman ordered was $9 and he wasn't told that it didn't come with his dinner. The only other problem I had was that it was not cool enough in the part of the restaurant where we were seated.

My experience has been consistent. Food is always good, love the menu. Service is always good. Recent visit was on National Oyster Day and extremely noisy. Very hard to chat with each other at the table.

I made a reservation and was greeted immediately by the valet who was quite courteous. We were seated immediately from both the hostess and our server. Just to keep it simple I enjoyed everything from beginning to end . We'll be back.

Great food mostly seafood. They always have great music in the background, sometimes live. The atmosphere is... funky -- almost like a "dive," but not really.

We dropped in for Sunday brunch for the first time. We had a nice young woman for a server who took very good care of us.

We ordered the Oysters Hugo which were delicious. I was just sad that there weren't more of them - an order is a half dozen, and I could have easily eaten a whole dozen by myself. We ordered three additional brunch entrees, which ranged from classic fair to delicious cajun fare.

I don't know if it's my favorite brunch place in Atlanta yet, but I am certainly interested in coming back and trying more of their food again.

We come to Hugo’s often, and are always pleased. Last nights experience was even better due to our server. Skyler has a way with tables that is special and refreshing. We continue to come back as often as we can, but the service today will bring us back even sooner. The food was great, as always, and we continue to get different things on each visit (but always oysters). Thanks for another great dining experience.

How sad that this used to be a good restaurant. They were out of the wine we wanted to begin with and there were bugs crawling on the walls and all around the entrance to the restaurant. We will not go back.

Glasses of wine were uniformly too warm which was a disappointment. Food was generally very good. Service friendly but spotty (e.g. had to ask for replacement silverware). Upbeat vibe, very casual. Valet parking a plus.

We have been dining at Hugo’s for awhile. Our service was awful. Server needed more training. Server forgot my husbands drink order then said that if we order a drink around that time there would be a wait because it’s their busy time. Crackers for oysters were placed on table and she said that they ran out of buckets. You would think she would put crackers on a plate instead. We received appetizer and finished appetizer before we got our cocktails. We asked to cash out since service was so awful. We gave our open table Hugo’s dining reward. She said she needed to make sure that we were not using an old coupon?? We will not be returning.
