Hugo's Cellar - Four Queens
Service was not up to Hugo’s standards
Very disappointing experience
This was a very nice dining experience with exceptional service! There was a $27 Sharing charge to split a meal so with opted to order separate meals. Looking back we both ended up wasting so much food so I think I would just share a meal next time. Each entree includes a table side salad (this was VERY good), bread, entree comes with a potato and veggies and a small dessert of chocolate covered strawberries is included too! And all the ladies receive a rose when they check in. It was a nice experience and I would return!
Unforgettable experience! The best customer service, amazing meal, nice ambiance.
From the low key location, to the value everything in between was 1st class for the value. Salad, Manhattan, steak was all wonderful... highly recommended
My husband and I had our “date” night and from the point that we checked in with the hostess and I received my rose our “date” night was starting out very special. We had an exceptional server who talked to us about our selections from the menu and then the rolling salad cart was parked in front of our table where the preparation of the salad was completed. The salad was so good! Our entrees were so delicious as well! Overall, this was the perfect restaurant for our rare night out!
Hugo's Cellar is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. Food and service have always been top notch each time I have gone there. Great steaks and and impressive wine list. I find the service is better than what you find on the strip.
It was ok. Steak was a bit undercooked for my liking... but no one came back by to check for a while so I ended up eating it. Dessert was good. I liked the idea you get a full 3 course meal with the steaks. Probably won't be back kinda expensive for an ok meal.
We have dined at Hugo’s Cellar on many occasions however this most recent dining experience did not meet our high expectations of this restaurant. It appears to us that the quality of food has been reduced despite charging the same high prices. For these reasons I am not inclined to recommend nor return to the restaurant in the near future.
We went there for our 14th anniversary. The service and food were exceptional. It is truly old school service with flair. I was greeted with a red rose and we were served by formally dressed waiters who did table side salads and served special treats between courses to cleanse the palate and end the night on a sweet note. I had the salmon with lemon butter sauce and my mouth was in awe. My hubby had a steak, in the cut of his choice and was pleased as well. I had the strongest lemon drop I’ve ever had in life! To end it, we had the mocha cheesecake and ganache covered cake - so yummy! The waiters paid close attention and really anticipated every need. The only downside is that it is inside the casino and the smoke scent is still there, just not as strong. The food and service are worth it though. Everything but drinks, dessert and tip are included, no a la carte sticker shock.
I have been to Hugo’s before and loved it for a special dinner place. It was always a step above. This time people were wearing closer to business casual. No suits, ties, and dresses so much. That was dissapointing to me. I had always enjoyed the wine steward. This time I was served my 1st glass by the waiter. I did see the wine steward once when he came by to drop off the 2nd glass. Just smiled and left. Again disappointing. My husbands sorbet rolled right off the cone onto the table when he tried to eat it. The food was very good though. I doubt I’ll be back. We didn’t complain about anything. The service was good. Everything was just good enough. It is just for this type of place they should maintain a step above and I think they have let that extra special slide.
For decades, this has been the finest dining experience I’ve ever had. I keep coming back because of this fact.
Excellent food and service, as always. Hugo's is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or for an intimate date night.
We went to Hugo’s Cellar for the first time on a Sunday night for my husbands birthday. The service & food were excellent. I would highly recommend this steakhouse. We will be returning!
Wonderful place. Great atmosphere, service and food. Always a treat!
Vincent was wonderful! We were celebrating our 7th anniversary with friends.
Our group of 9 was treated so nicely. We were given a very nice space. Our wait staff was amazing and entertaining. Joe, the sommelier, was also wonderful. Food was amazing and the table-side salad service was the best!
As always. Excellent food and excellent service. Steaks, salads and sea bass are the best in Vegas. It is the best kept secret even though it has been around for many, many years. It’s not cheap. But if you have a special occasion or just a great meal this is the place. Not one of the trendy come lately restaurants as on the strip. It’s a hidden gem inside and downstairs in the four queens that not everyone knows about. But those in the know it’s the place to go for old world elegance and quality.
Hugo's is good, but for the price I'd expect a higher quality of food. The last two times we've ate there, the prime rib was tough and the king crab is not as sweet as it should be.
The experience is old school Vegas with remarkable service and fantastic steaks.
Favorite steak restaurant in Las Vegas. Never miss a chance to dine here. Food and service always exceptional!
Food overpriced for quality.
Excellent service and great food. Enjoy Hugo’s every time we are in Las Vegas !!
The waiters were really great ! Really loved the table side salad where you can choose what’s in it. Overall great experience , only thing, and it really wasn’t that big of a deal, I had Prime rib and it wasn’t seasoned well at all, kind of bland. My husband had beef Wellington, and it was just absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back and recommend Hugo’s cellar!
The service was great. The food fantastic. The only issue we had was it was extremely loud. So much so you really couldn’t carry on a conversation and I knew the topic of all 5 tables surrounding us. The great food and very warm service made it a great night overall.
At first glance, menu seems expensive until you realize it is one price for all courses! Excellent value!
Had a great time and was treated like we have been going there forever. Great food!
Growing up here in Vegas Hugo's had always been a memorable experience. Brought my grown kids there for the first time for my daughter's birthday.
Ambience and food quality is great. My wife wanted the salmon but they were all out of salmon. Rack of lamb was out of this world. The bartender made fantastic Old Fashioned. We had two waiters and service is impeccable. Love the fresh salads prepared at our table and Bananas Foster topped it all off. Very pricey but great experience for a special occasion.
Been here for at least 5 anniversaries and four birthdays. Gotta loveit as a special place.
Excellent service and the food is outstanding! Ambience is good but a little loud. Overall great experience !
I love Hugos's and have made it a point to dine here whenever we are in Las Vegas. John, the sommelier, was so helpful this time around, and we enjoyed his suggestions. The food was a delight, but I would lighten up the scallop presentation, as the sauce seemed to overwhelm the subtle flavors of the scallops (but that is my personal preference).
What wonderful service...what a delightful evening. Thank you!
Class act all the way
Rose for the lady, black tie waiters without an attitude, table side salad, and perfect steak temperature finished off by dessert , Hugo's does not disappoint. This was my third time there over the years and each time I am reminded WHY I RETURN!
Food was good, Salad especially was enjoyed by all.
We had another amazing night here! Definitely recommend this place if you go to Vegas! Staff is extremely friendly and make your experience that much better ;)
Such a gem. Sinatra and Dean Martin used to dine here. Service is far superior to other places from the wine steward to the salad made at the table to the sorbet before the main course. This place has so much history and great food at a reasonable price. Spent half as much money as I did the two nights before but the food was excellent.
Fun experience for my wife's first Vegas visit.
We have dined at Hugo’s Cellar several years in a row for our annual get-together and always had a five star experience. This year was disappointing. Service was rather slow and the prime rib was a bit tough - neither of which has ever been an issue before. The mashed potatoes lacked flavor and the grilled onions had been prepared with flavors that did not suit the typical taste of grilled onion’s. The filet mignon, however, was perfectly prepared. Overall, it was not a typical Hugo’s experience. Perhaps it was just an off night.
Hidden Gem in Las Vegas! Would not think of such a great restaurant hidden inside the Four Queens but this place is amazing! Can't wait to go again!
We had a wonderful, relaxing anniversary dinner--wit u excellent service!
Awesome Anniversary dinner. This is one of our favorite restaurants when we travel to Las vegas.
