Hugo's Cellar - Four Queens
Dinner: Monday - Sunday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm.
I was so very excited to finally go to Hugo's. Walking in was great and I got greeted with a beautiful red rose, the place looked great. The tables were only about a quarter full of customers this night. The wait and service staff was abundant however I felt that they were inattentive. We ask about wine and they never brought us a list or wine server. The wait for the actual waiter to introduce himself and take our order seemed to take a long while. We ordered spinach dip appetizer, again the place was not busy however the wait for the appetizer was much too long, even if they had to bake it, though it was delicious. After the appetizer we sat, again with staff all around yet not checking in with us we sat and then finally had to verbally call a server to please bring our salads, which they made table side and were great, however since they are custom made at the table a check back should of been made and was not.
Again, after a bit of a wait our meals were served and they were fantastic. However, after any other restaurant serves a main course the server checks back in with the table to see if all is cooked to order and if any other items are needed, with the staff all around, no one did and no one made themselves available for such.
I loved the food but was saddened by service that I was so excited about. With the cost of our night
combined with the service staff and extended long wait times for our food courses, I do not think I will be dining here again.
Very special! Wonderful! Staff very professional, helpful, great
Best fine dining experience in Las Vegas. Why pay $50-80 for crap food at a buffet when you can have 5 star gourmet food. Each dinner comes with custom made salad, assorted bread, sorbet and chocolate covered fruit. Plus every lady gets a rose on entry. I really appreciated the wine sommelier's recommendation. I recommend the Salmon prepared En Papullete. Delicious!
This was our second time and again it was an outstanding experience. From the moment that we arrived to the mo want we left everything was superb!
An OUTSTANDING restaurant in everyday imaginable! Ambience, service, food, drink. It is old Vegas inside Hugo's Cellar, dark, clean and cozy. The service by the staff that has been working there for 25 plus years were amazing! The food quality was second to none, drinks and wine offered by the sommelier was amazing as well. Our new favorite spot since we are locals. A must for anyone to try!!!
Great place....food always excellent...a must do. Old Vegas at its best.
Great place, one our go to restaurants when we are in Las Vegas.
Hugo’s is the go-to steakhouse for a romantic, old-school Vegas dinner.
Everytime we travel to Las Vegas we ALWAYS stop and dine at Hugo's ! We just Love the place.
Great place to eat in Old Vegas.
Hugo's Cellar was actually recommended by a friend. Their take was it is a "must do" when in Vegas. They were right!! From the moment we arrived the staff and our waiter treated us like royalty. And the food was delightful and so delicious. I would totally recommend Hugo's Cellar and definitely have no problem saying this is a "MUST DO" when in Vegas. I can't wait till the next trip to Vegas I will be making reservations to have dinner here again!!!
Very special date night! We will be back for sure!
My good friend recommended Hugo’s for our anniversary dinner. She was spot in. Hugo’s is an amazing dining experience. From the moment you walk in, it’s old school classy and romantic. The food is absolutely amazing. The drinks are strong. This was one of the best dinners I have ever experienced in Las Vegas.
Everything was delicious! The roses for the women were extra special. Thank you
Very pleased with everything from the service to the food, what a pleasure to dine downtown in a staple restaurant. Our out of town guests were blown away by the detail to service. Our server Mark and his crew were outstanding. We will definitely be back.
Dining at Hugo’s is always an experience, an AWESOME experience! The food is superb and the service is phenomenal. It is a must whenever in Vegas.
One of the best places we have eaten at. Will defiantly come back to eat here when we are in Vegas again.
What a great night! Hugo's is still one of the best for an "old" Vegas feel. Our server was excellent as was the prime rib. Would definitely recommend Hugo's to anyone looking for an upscale steak house experience.
Better than advertised!
This is a remarkable restaurant - we consider it a must when we come to Vegas. It's expensive, but really special and inclusive as well. Service, food, and ambiance are fantastic.
Not enough light to read menu. Need temporary lighting then return to existing ambience.
Everything, and everyone at the restaurant was extraordinary. I don’t leave many reviews on line, but don’t mind leaving this one.
A Vegas hidden gem. The food and service is always top notch!!!!
My filet was slightly overcooked as I ordered medium rare and it was served medium well but it was still a good steak. Considering that the salad and potatoes came with the meal, it was a good overall value, especially considering the high level of service. The mixed drink that I ordered was also a good value at $12 because it was a generous pour. For a special occasion meal, this is the place.
The service, as always, was outstanding. If you are looking for "Old Vegas" Hugo's is it. I took my Mom there for her 81st birthday and she was very pleased. The salad is made to order from a cart that is brought to your table side and is very good. My Mom had the filet which was done as ordered and served with a bearnaise sauce. My wife had the duck, which was "falmbeed" at the table. I had the rib eye steak which had too much fat and gristle. The waiter was quick to notice my disappointment and put in an order for prime rib for me. The prime rib came out in less than 5 minutes, and was excellent. A rose for each of the women in my group is a very nice touch.
Dinner and service terrific, The rose was a very nice addition
It was my husband’s birthday. We love Hugo’s Cellar.
This was the first time that we experienced an issue. There was an extremely loud table of people and we had to put up with them talking and laughing very loud for most of our time there. The entire restaurant could hear them. It was really bad. You could tell that they all had drank a lot. It ruined the atmosphere and the evening having to hear them the whole time. We complained as well as I am sure others did but nothing was done about them.
love the relaxed feel of this place – like a comfortable dining room in a friends home. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The potato-leek soup was amazing and the Bibb lettuce salad was refreshing. The table was split on the monkfish – one person thought it was great, but another felt that the tastes didn't quite mesh. Everyone loved the flat iron steak. Service was well-timed and friendly, wines were affordable.
Fantastic food, service & ambiance. A MUST place to go.
I have been there many times and have yet to be disappointed. To me, its the best restaurant in Vegas
The cost is a little high but it is worth it!! Loved it!
A unique and authentic Las Vegas dining experience World Class Service
Excellent staff makes everything work. Great bartender and wait staff. John, the Sommelier, is the best in the business. Great conversation and extensive knowledge of a very nice wine list. Can't wait to go again.
An amazing dinner with amazing service. This was our first time here, but we'll be going
This truly is one of the very best restaurants in Las Vegas. The food is outstanding and the service is old worldly wonderful! We make it a definite stop every time we are in the city. Don’t let the location put you are off. It’s a gem!
This restaurant was listed in Yelp as #1 for rack of lamb, which happens to be the special request of my visiting friend. Yelp wasn't wrong in any way! The rack of lamb was a full rack, served with a mint and a peanut sauce option. Their salad and sides are included, in addition to two palate cleansing food accompaniments (raspberry sorbet and chocolate drilled or dipped fruits). For those who selected steaks, they were done to perfection! The lamb was the best tasted I in a restaurant, according to my friend. The peanut sauce prepared as delicious she remembers from her Dutch-Indonesian mothers cooking. We were well served and the dishes were not overpriced by any means. Ladies also receive a long stemmed red rose to take home, also complimentary. This is a great restaurant! I highly recommend!
My favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. Always an amazing experience. The food is outstanding!
It has been the same for 35+ years. It is really "old Vegas" and always a good choice. There are more gourmet places to be sure but it holds its own because of the long tradition. Menu hasn't changed ever!
Perfection from beginning to end, as always
