Hue Vietnamese Restaurant - Bay View Ratings and Reviews
We have done to Hue a few times and never been let down - the service is good and the food is always fresh and excellent. I highly recommend this place! If you are not too experienced with Vietnamese food you will certainly find something (if not many things) to enjoy here!!
Everything about dinner at Hue was delightful. The ambiance is comfortable and quiet - a perfect place for an anniversary dinner for just the two of us. The service was friendly and efficient, the prices reasonable, and the food delicious. My spouse said the traditional pancake (with the traditional fish sauce) was amazing - and there were several vegetarian choices for me, including the biggest (and tastiest) spring rolls I have had in a long time. We will be heading abck to Bay View, and trying the other location in Wauwatosa, soon.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Hue. Waiter was most helpful and there were gluten free options available. Food was very fresh and flavor profile for each dish was unique and tasty. Will definitely return again. Small # of tables, so I recommend dining a bit off peak hours to assure a table.
We have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. My wife had the pho with chicken while I had a noodle dish with marinated beef called bun. The flavors of Thai basil, cilantro, pickled daikon and carrrots as well as jalapeno peppers, ginger and lime made our dining experience a pleasant one.
We had dinner here and really enjoyed it . The couple who came with us had never had Vietnamese food before but they found numerous items on the menu they wanted to try. The spring rolls were enormous and all the portions were very generous. Nice selection of drinks and tasty desserts that were not too sweet . Will definitely go back.
Went to Hue for the first time last Saturday. Price was reasonable, service was good, ambience was great, but the food was just "pretty good". The menu is definitely toned down for the less adventurous. I was surprised to see that there were no dishes that contained PORK or DUCK which are two staples of Vietnamese cuisine. Other than that, it was great!
It was our first visit, but we'll be back. Had the chicken curry (hot), which was superb. Mussels with garlic and white wine were some of the best I've had. The mixed appetizer platter was just right for three people. The donut desert (5 pieces) was incredible. Don't leave without having those, regardless of your view on deserts.
This was my first experience with Vietnamese. My friend and I shared the spring roll as an appetizer - the peanut sauce was excellent. My friend ordered the Tofu Pho and I ordered the Beef Pho. They were both so good. The tofu was so good. The bowls were so large we were each able to have enough to take home for another meal. Great find!
