All three of us ordered the Fish fry. I've had it before and loved it. It was just as good as the last time. The Paloma cocktail was amazing too.
Early reservation, and disappointed to be seated in a cramped space, bumping into other diners. Thankfully, we asked to be moved, the rest of the experience was good. Food is especially good!
Great pho. Worth the trip everytime. Also love the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. Delicious. They have some great cocktails too.
We have done to Hue a few times and never been let down - the service is good and the food is always fresh and excellent. I highly recommend this place! If you are not too experienced with Vietnamese food you will certainly find something (if not many things) to enjoy here!!
Wonderful pho! Staff was very knowledgeable about gluten free options!
Our favorite Vietnamese restaurants in MIlwaukee. Generous portions of authentic dishes at great prices. Staff and service is very good.
Good food, tofu was not as crispy as I had hoped. Service was mediocre...we were often left waiting and the specific server was not very friendly.
The bun, pho, cha gio's etc. are spot on! I grew up with a Vietnamese family in my home and since they left I have not been able to find a restaurant that cooks authentically UNTIL NOW! Great job to the chef!
My wife and I have been here many times. We have never been disappointed. Great service and terrific food!
Great atmosphere even with the Bay View Gallery Night event. Our Server Becka was prompt and nice. The food was delicious and fast. Well worth the value! We will definitely be back.
F***ing delicious. The beef skewers were amazing, the pho was outstanding. I had a really yummy drink. Service was great. I can't wait to be back.
Traveling through Milwaukee and wanted something different for dinner. Thought we'd try Hue based on reviews we read on Open Table. So glad we did! Great overall experience.
Very mediocre food. Service ok. View out of window was convenience store x the street.
Great food. One of the best restaurants in Milwaukee.
Luv this place! Best fish fry ever. Nice spot for a date or dinner with a few friends.
This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. Food was tasty, service very good and I especially loved their cocktail, Basil Smash. Charming and delicious!
Really good food, great variety, attentive service , don't miss the spring rolls
Had the pho, thought the serving size was a little lighter than I remembered. Service was quick, food was delicious. Should've ordered appetizers as well.
Excellent as always. We really love the food and the people are wonderful!
We enjoyed our first meal at Hue and will definitely go back. Excellent food and portion was large enough to take home.
Lots of variety, generous portions. If you don't want something really spicy, ask. There are plenty of non-spicy options, but it's not always obvious from the menu description.
Fantastic food with great flavors. I love eating here. Feels ok to bring kids for an early dinner but I wouldn't bring them later. Service is usually just good enough to be ok, not great.
Our waitress was wonderful and the food was great. Our favorite on the appetizer menu was the crab wontons.
Everything about dinner at Hue was delightful. The ambiance is comfortable and quiet - a perfect place for an anniversary dinner for just the two of us. The service was friendly and efficient, the prices reasonable, and the food delicious. My spouse said the traditional pancake (with the traditional fish sauce) was amazing - and there were several vegetarian choices for me, including the biggest (and tastiest) spring rolls I have had in a long time. We will be heading abck to Bay View, and trying the other location in Wauwatosa, soon.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Hue. Waiter was most helpful and there were gluten free options available. Food was very fresh and flavor profile for each dish was unique and tasty. Will definitely return again. Small # of tables, so I recommend dining a bit off peak hours to assure a table.
We have been to this restaurant several times and have never been disappointed. My wife had the pho with chicken while I had a noodle dish with marinated beef called bun. The flavors of Thai basil, cilantro, pickled daikon and carrrots as well as jalapeno peppers, ginger and lime made our dining experience a pleasant one.
We eat at Hue frequently since it is in the neighborhood. We love their food and it's very gluten free friendly!
Always a welcome and careful experience. Strong recommendation!
Carefully prepared, authentic food. Lovely presentation. Accommodating service.
We had dinner here and really enjoyed it . The couple who came with us had never had Vietnamese food before but they found numerous items on the menu they wanted to try. The spring rolls were enormous and all the portions were very generous. Nice selection of drinks and tasty desserts that were not too sweet . Will definitely go back.
Always outstanding food and service. The vegetable curry is the best around.
My wife and I have been here several times and have always had a great meal with wonderful service. Also took a friend to lunch at the Wauwatosa location and felt the same way.
Great food, great service. We felt like at somebody's home
We have never been disappointed when we have eaten there. The food is always excellent and the service is helpful and freidly witout hovering over you.
Went to Hue for the first time last Saturday. Price was reasonable, service was good, ambience was great, but the food was just "pretty good". The menu is definitely toned down for the less adventurous. I was surprised to see that there were no dishes that contained PORK or DUCK which are two staples of Vietnamese cuisine. Other than that, it was great!
Everything on the Hue' menu is outstanding and the service is always good. These people know how to run a restaurant!
In my very best dreams, I get to eat here every day. <3
Always a great meal. One of our favorite Bay View hang outs. Food is fresh and light and the atmosphere is energetic. Great cocktail too.
It was our first visit, but we'll be back. Had the chicken curry (hot), which was superb. Mussels with garlic and white wine were some of the best I've had. The mixed appetizer platter was just right for three people. The donut desert (5 pieces) was incredible. Don't leave without having those, regardless of your view on deserts.
I had heard this was a great spot for noodles and cocktails. We went with a small group and everyone loved the food and drinks. The spring rolls were very fresh. Everyone's entrees were great too.
