Good food, but slow service on the night we went. I've been there before and do not recall it being slow.
What a delicious meal! The service was warm and attentive and the apple strudel was sinfully good! This will be a regular stop for us
Great food and a great atmosphere
Such a little treasure; old-school vibe. It's like a NY mini-me steakhouse.;)
I’d say food was okay, medium rare prime rib was too rare but scallops were delicious. A little pricey also. Was third time there over past ten years and won’t go back.
We have dined here several times- always a mixed experience. On this visit our service was awful. Wine glass plopped on table as waitress quickly turned and left. I requested a new fork since mine was mangled, and the whole meal took 2 1/2 hours ! Seafood entrees were very good but fries were limp and Luke warm. It’s too bad - it could be a good place but there always even to be issues.
Fantastic King Crab legs!
My fiance and I came here for a Valentine's dinner and the food was amazing! If you're big on seafood, they have quite a selection. The lobster bisque was the best I've ever had! Our waitress was the sweetest! Would definitely go again!
We ate at Hudson's Rib & Fish for a birthday celebration. We had a very enjoyable meal and an excellent dining experience.
King crab was enjoyable. Scallops seemed undercookef
It was very crowded tonight. Service was good, food was good! No complaints!
Everything was wonderful. Food was delicious! The best! We’ll be back again!!
Love this place, not something I would consider affordable for everyday dinning, but definitely a place to go for special occasions, Birthdays, Anniversary, date night, etc. Great food, calm and relaxing atmosphere makes it easy to have a conversation across a table, waitstaff is attentive and respectful.
Thanks Hudson Ribs & Fish
The wait staff was very accommodating for my Fiancé’ s 30th Birthday Dinner tonight. Edward Bogdan and his crew are on their game and provide a nice and comfortable dining environment. The food was delicious and it is definitely a place I would like to return too soon.
Excellent place to dine. Make dinner reservations for weekend.
We sat in a booth, I'm 250 5'8" .. no room ... very uncomfortable, no other tables available on a Saturday night. Good wine list, had our favorite Gewurztraminer. Prime ribs were perfect, French fries were soggy (we asked for well done crispy.)
Thankfully were seated far away from the very noisy HVAC in the rear corner. Unfortunately we were seated next to & behind two tables with small crying, screaming young children.
Besides the children, the acoustics in this restaurant were terrible, noise level way above acceptable, unable to have a conversation.
We left asap, went to I-84 Diner for Coffee & Desert. That was the best decision of the night.
We probably won't be back. But we will certainly go to I-84 very often. It was packed but the acoustics were great, very relaxing compared to high stress at Hudson's.
Perfect experience this is how a restraunt should be,drove from Greenwich ct.
Mother in laws Birthday
Always good to go here for a date, an anniversary or any other occasion, it is casual dining with a very good menu and a really great wait staff.
Service was a little slow. Took a while to get our drinks. Notified waitress of a dairy allergy told her no dairy on food. Appetizer came out with cheese on it however She corrected the issue promptly.
Food was excellent
The seafood was very good, the rib eye had to be returned and the second order of rib eye was still not as good as advertised. The service was absolutely horrible.
The meal was really good from start to finish, well prepared and flavorful. Also very energetic and friendly service. The French fries with garlic butter were incredible, as were the popovers!
We have been to Hudson Ribs and Fish several times and have alway enjoyed our meals. This evening they were very busy and the service was slow. Even though our service was slow we still enjoyed our meal. We began our meal with Asian Chicken Wraps which we shared. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Francaise and wound up bringing some home. My husband had Four Cheese Stuffed Breast of Chicken and he said it was excellent. Our friend ordered the Hudson's Signature Crabcake Combo which she also wound up taking home with her. We ended our meal with an order of tiramisu and a cinnamon Tortilla shell with vanilla ice cream whip cream and caramel sauce which was excellent.
Great atmosphere and popovers with strawberry butter an unexpected delight.
Our server Jillian was very attentive but not over-bearing. The chicken ciabatta was very tasty and of ample size. I think a sauteed chicken breast might be a more healthy option; the fish and chips: the fish was great but the chips are literally potato chips. Fortunately, Jillian explained that so that we could substitute the chips for fries. The calamari appetizer had some zucchini and peppers (to fill out the plate perhaps?) which distracted from the calamari. The coffee was served in a large mug which was good but was a little weak (Keurig perhaps?).
Hudson's is a god change from local diner food.
I must have driven by this place hundreds of times but never gone in. My mother- in-law suggested it, and we were not disappointed. The food was wonderful. Our waiter, Jorge, treated us like royalty and the overall experience was fantastic.
We always enjoy this restaurant. The food is excellent.
Food was good(stuffed shrimp was VERY good). Our waitress, Krista was very pleasant and helpful. Its a nice place and everything was good. I must say that a guy pouring water and bussing tables seemed a little abrupt, and maybe surly, but it might be unfair to read to much into that. Overall, a good place with a big menu and lots of good choices.
Service was wonderful. Had the shrimp and lobster bisque. Was very good but could have been hotter.
Excellent food and service, as always. We spend many special occasions there!
Great food, great place, great service! The popovers ROCK!
I’ve been to this restaurant two times and I have not been disappointed both dining experiences the food was excellent the staff was very knowledgeable very courteous and the prices are very reasonable I highly recommend this restaurant
been going here for years...good food good service will be back again
but it seems to be much noisier.....on this occasion it was bad no way to hold a conversation among the 5 of us....was dissapointing
Food taste was very good. However we ordered the crab cakes as a app and the center was cold. We both ordered the filet mignon it was very tasty however once again the center was cold. The brownie for dessert was delicious and perfect for the two of to share.
My girlfriend liked it, me, not so much. The popover was different, but ehh. I ordered the ribs for $22. The portion looked like 1/2 a rack, at best. It was covered in BBQ sauce and that's all I could taste. Fall off the bone? Not on your life! Over cooked. You want good ribs? Go to Texas Roadhouse in Poughkeepsie. For $22 you'll get a full rack and the meat definitely falls off the bone! Those are tasty ribs! The ribs here look like the came from a cat, they were so small. The only good thing I can say is the salad was good and service was good.
I won't be coming back.
The food & Service were great. The price was reasobable
We went for Restaurant Week and was a great value and good food selections. Food was excellent as well as the service. We were greeted and seated as soon as we entered and food was served promptly. Ambiance was very nice, and good for quiet conversation. We would certainly go back again, and highly recommend it.
Very nice restaurant, good service and very tasty food. Went for restaurant week, so it was a great value.
Wonderful experience. We had made reservations and were immediately ushered in. Our table was set. Iced water included and our waitress was over right away with popovers so light and fluffy to be unforgettable and strawberry butter to die for. The meal, ambiance, and service were all excellent.
