Went out for an early Saturday night dinner. The portions were generous, the food was good and the service was very attentive. My steak which was ordered medium rare, came closer to medium than rare, but not enough to send back. When I ordered another glass of wine, it came quickly. The menu is relatively small, but both my wife and I were pleased with the food and service. It wasn't cheap, but was what you would expect to pay for a good steak and lamb chop meal. Not a place to go for creative food but good for what it is.
We went for brunch which I would Not recommend to anyone. The service was good but the food was cold and not great. Eggs were overcooked and bread was hard. The dessert was good though.
I think this place would probably be more suitable for a burger and a beer. Wouldn't go for a special occasion.
Everything was just ok. Not bad. Not great. Waiter was very nice and attentive.
A good time
We went for a pre theatre dinner. The service was friendly. The food was plain but well prepared. Would recommend the place.
It was my husband's birthday & we had a great time!
Great! Good food!
We sat on the deck. Beautiful night except there was a table next to us how were smoking. I asked at several staff what was there policy and was told that smoke was not permitted. However no one approved them about their policy. I even asked the manager to be informed
This really out a damper on eating. While the food was good. I will never never return
The food was phenomenal, but be prepared to wait. And wait. And wait. That said, if you don't mind the wait. It's a great place to sit outside and enjoy a meal with friends.
Great meal for family of 4. 2 teenagers and 2 adults. Quick friendly services. Food was great and portions were large enough for take home lunch the next day. We sat at a high top in/outside. A/c with feeling like we were outside. Will be back soon.
Not OpenTable caliber; food was mediocre - fish tacos seemed like frozen fish sticks, truffle fries were loaded with grease and soggy, and special drink was just ok.
It was simply OK. Last minute reservation, plenty of availability. The service was good. The food was a little bland in my opinion. Everything needed salt. The best item we had was the Caesar salad. Portion size was ample. Chicken paillard was just over cooked and dry. Other items properly prepared, just under seasoned. Decent menu, good value, lots of potential, the kitchen must execute a little better.
We always have a good experience at Hudson Grille, an extensive menu means everyone can find something they enjoy. Large portions so there are usually leftovers. Friendly staff.
The food was excellent. They even allowed us to order from the Lunch menu even though it was still technically Brunch. All of us would definitely go back.
The whole night was very disappointing. We asked for indoor seating and were seated outside even though there were inside tables available. I ordered an open steak sandwich with no onions. What I got was an open onion sandwich with little or no steak. A salad was delivered with no dressing and my cousin was given the wrong dinner from another table. We did not have an enjoyable dinner.
Nicely prepared dinners at fairly reasonable prices. Had an enjoyable meal of seafood risotto which had plenty of shrimp and scallops.
the food was excellent. The wine list pretty good. Service was good . The restaraunt was noisy especially considering it was not that crowded (we had an early reservation)
The food was very good and plentiful and the service was excellent.
Great service! Amazing food! Went there for my cousin's birthday and we had an excellent time.
Wine selection was small and wine quality below par . Food was very commercial , tasteless and over priced
Service was ok
Setting was beautiful - the only thing this restaurant has to really offer
Our waiter was phenomenal (wish I had asked him for his name) - absolutely fantastic in terms of service and knowledge of the menu. Food was pretty good -restaurant week. I have had happy hour at Hudson Grill before and highly recommend the food and drinks for that!
The service was quite good. The bread came after the first course was served. The wine was excellent. The food was tasty but not hot when served.
Not too crowded at all, the ambiance was perfect. Food was prepared very well and with care.
Met 2 friends for a light dinner at the Hudson Grille this week. We had small plates -- everything well prepared. Service was excellent -- excellent choice for a casual dinner -- never felt rushed and because it was a weekend, very quiet.
Decor was very nice. Service was average to good. I had the salmon which was tasty. My husband had the rib eye and he said it was a bit tough, not really a memorable steak. Overall it was an average experience. Not terrible but not fantastic.
Food was all over the place. Lobster quesadilla has lobster in but the flavor was completely overwhelmed. The spring roll appetizer was great. Steak sandwich was yummy, but the FF had a weird flavor. Hubby had the pasta with shrimp which he really enjoyed. So a mixed bag, food wise. Service was very good, attentive and informative.
Have been here several times , this time we ordered a salad that had missing ingredients.
We told our waiter and he promptly fixed the problem.
Although the food was and is consistently pretty good I was a little surprised this time.
When we were leaving the manager apologized for the mistake
The food and location are great. The portions are big and delicious. The service is very slow and it was not crazy busy. We will go back, but never during a crowded time.
The surf & turf Thursday special was excellent! The bar scene was a little noisy, however hostess was kind enough to re-seat us a little further away that we could have a decent conversation. Wine selection was excellent! I would definitely recommend/go back again.
Staff is always amazing as is the food. Classic elegance but not too stuffy.
I took my mom and my aunt out for Mother's Day brunch here, having never previously eaten here. While the initial wait for our server was a little longer than you would expect, the rest of the service was great. The food was fantastic. There was plenty of options to choose from, something for everyone. My mom and my aunt thoroughly enjoyed their meal and I was pleasantly surprised by the bill. 3 meals, 2 drinks, 1 dessert for $60!
Food was great but a bit pricey...I had the halibut and I ate every bite!
Drinks good too
Was very quiet when we went - Wednesday night @ 7:30 pm
I have been here a few times and was glad I came on Thursday night as it was lobster night , so I indulged with a whole Maine lobster for $29 it doesn't get any better . Definitely will be back on Thursday night again .
Went for brunch first time.
Excellent ambience, great menu exceptional service!
The staff was excellent. The food was very good and portions were good. We would recommend this to friends. The only criticism we have is that the desert offerings be included in the menu.
Went for brunch, was very happy with my brunch burger, drinks where good aswell.
This was my first time at this restaurant and I will definitely be going back. Simply put, the food, service, and drinks were excellent...especially for the price.
This is a good spot for lunch or group gathering. I would not recommend for private and intimate dinner.
We enjoyed the food and the service, but the noise level was alittle too loud
What a treat
Service, ambience & food were all excellent. We arrived and were immediately seated in a comfortable spot. Our waiter took our order and was very attentive as the meal progressed. The presentation of all our orders was lovely. The Ahi Poke was excellent although not for more than one person. The salads were beautifully presented and bountiful. The steaks were done perfectly tender and flavorful. Coffee and dessert added pleasure to the meal
