Spacious venue with multiple indoor and outdoor dining spaces indoor—so diners were spread out. I enjoyed my selections of the NYC Burrata, Fried Chicken Burger, and the ginger non-alcoholic beverage. All were tasty and with generous servings. A most filling meal. Hudson Garden Grill is a wonderful complement to the beautiful and unmatched NYBG.

We were forced to eat outside in near 90 degree weather with my 80 year old parents when we were the first reservation time of the day and there was plenty of room. We asked several times to be seated inside and we’re turned down although others had been seated inside after us.

The Hudson Garden Grill is excellent on so many levels . The food is delicious , fresh and creative. The restaurant itself is beautiful and a relaxing respite from the sun in a warm day . Our server was charming and attentive . It’s a perfect spot for lunch while exploring the gardens .

This restaurant has only gotten better with age. I’ve been coming here for almost ten years and it has never been better. The Hudson grill is worth the trek up to the garden alone.

I always have a wonderful meal at Hudson Garden Grill. It is for me one of the main attractions at New York Botanical Garden and it is my go-to place whenever I visit the garden. They provide great service and have a very nice ambience for a great dining experience. The burger I had was very juicy and flavorful, even when cooked well done as I had requested. The panna cotta dessert was the perfect finish to a very satisfying lunch.

Wonderful food, great service. Wines are disappointing - my glass of wine was undrinkable, had to send it back. I went with sangria instead, which was good. So stick with mixed drinks or beer.

An extraordinarily beautiful setting in the Botanical Gardens with expansive views out Our waiter tried to be helpful by suggesting the carrot schnitzel, but it was, in actuality, deep-fried carrots - not to my liking. Their ginger non-alcoholic drink packed quite a ginger punch packed quite a punch last time I had it, but they've now diluted the ginger effect with too much pineapple. All around, some very good choices for vegetarians, but I wasn't all that lucky this time around.

Excellent food. Salmon was tender and crisp on top and branzino was perfectly cooked. The pana cotta dessert was light and delicious. We ordered the sangria cocktail which I highly recommend. Another highlight of our lunch was the service. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and professional. This restaurant never disappoints!

Superb ambience, with quiet music and uncrowded seating. The Tagliatelle was too salty for my taste; other choices were really good (the burger, the Branzino, the salmon), and the desserts were delicious. Service was not especially attentive or thorough, but the staff did respond appropriately when we made a specific request (e.g., could we have some bread, please). Overall, a lovely dining experience.

Four of us had a very good lunch on a weekday afternoon! One Senat Farms Crispy Chicken Cobb salad, 2 Crispy Chicken sandwiches, and a most amazing Creamy Harvest Vegetable Quinotto! Service was pleasant and professional, ambiance is really quite pretty inside and out, prices aren’t cheap but nothing is these days, and I think it was fairly priced for the quality.

From the moment we arrived the service was welcoming. Our table for 4 was next to the window so we could see the garden and the photos of the waterfall which were perfect. Every dish we ordered was well prepared and unusual. We very much appreciated the interesting selection of vegetarian dishes. Our waiter was helpful. It's always a pleasure to see Jo Ann the hostess.
