The manager was very helpful and moved our party from the outside where it was too cold to the porch with its heaters. We appreciated that extra help.
We arrived at our reservation time and were told that there was not a table available yet, was offered a seat at the bar and was told we would receive a text when our table was ready. He sat right in front of the hostess station. Then 2 more parties of 2 arrived and were seated right away. When we asked we were told we were sent a text which we missed. Once seated I ordered a medium rare prime rib and a to go order. My prime rib was dry, tough, and flavorless. Our waitress dropped off our invoice which we paid using our smart phone. As we were paying we noticed that we were not charged our to-go order nor had we received it. The waitress never came back. We had to ask someone to get her regarding the status of our to-go order. She came by and admitted that she forgot to put in the order and gave us the to-go order for free, but we had to wait another 10-15 minutes.
First time at the New Albany location, I’ve been to that Lane Avenue location numerous times but now we’re living up in the New Albany area. I made a reservation for 6:45pm, showed up on time, and they tried to sit us outside when the temp was 52 degrees and dropping. Not the outside area with the tent and heaters, that wasn’t bad as we walked through. It was outside in the cold and about 10 feet away from a heater. It was laughable. The table was also not set up. I asked for a different table and was told none were available. I said I’d be willing to wait for one to open up. I was told to wait in the cold while they figured it out. Someone came back and said they had a table ready but it was a high top at the bar. I specifically selected not to sit at a high top when I made the reservation as that was an option, but that’s what we ended up with. That experience really put a damper on what was otherwise a fine meal. Thankfully our waitress was fantastic and the food was on par with the other location we used to frequent. I’m hesitant to go back. I was seated near the host station and could overhear all sorts of issues and complaints from patrons and employees throughout my meal. Like I said the food was solid but they just did not seem to have other things together.
Good, little chilly, but thoughtfully heaters were turned on near us. Food was excellent.
Lovely casual dining. My server was excellent. I’m not a lover of their food. I used to enjoy their cheeseboard but they switched to meat that is all fat. I love Genoa Salami they don’t serve that. I had the hamburger and seriously it tasted like a Big Mac. I prefer the Barn. The chicken meatballs are good.
This is one of my favorite places. It always has great service, wonderful food and love the patio dining.
Hudson 29 is our favorite, go to place for brunch after church and family/friends get togethers. The food and service always exceed our expectations. Great job, as always!

The food was outstanding! Apprecaited the cleanliness/sanitization practices that are put in place due to COVID. Unfortunately, it took 10 minutes once we were seated for a server to come to the table. This is so unlike Cameron Mitchell standards. We were disappointed in the overall service.

The food is always perfect! I always get the cheeseburger as it is the best I have ever eaten, nothing compares. Everyone I ever go with enjoys their meals too - Sushi, Scallops, etc. A little dark for our liking. We enjoy sitting outside when it is available.

As always, having lunch or any meal at Hudson 29 was a very enjoyable experience. Now that we have entered the days of C-19, you can tell they have met every part of having a very sterile environment leaving you with a "safe" feeling. Food/service outstanding. I have dined here 3 times and each time I have not had a very pleasant experience. The rigatoni red sauce was so sweet it was inedible. Mentioned this to the server and she brought salt, pepper, Parmesan and red pepper flakes, but none of it worked. 3 strikes end I don’t think we will be going back.

The food, overall, was very good, but it is very expensive. I do not think the value matches the quality quite right. The service was excellent though, and the setting was lovely. Nice for an (expensive) date night. The sea bass was perfect, but the prime rib was mediocre.

Limited selection. Service very slow for all things- acknowledgment we were there, water service, taking our order never checked back on meal, water drink refills. We kept having to flag someone down to get refills. 4 of us at lunch was over $100 before tip. Lovely place, good food but they need to get better at service. I will not go back.

The steak was the best I have ever had... Medium push... the entire meal from the cesear salad, entree, to the upside down batter donut hole desert..our waitress was courteous, professional, and knowledgable about the food options. The atmosphere was quiet, we were able to relax and enjoy our conversation while we celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary.

Awesome experience here! Beautiful outdoor patio and we felt very safe and comfortable dining at Hudson 29. Great hospitality and food.
Always consistently executed, Hudson 29 fits a niche few others do. It’s rare to have an establishment that fits both a weeknight meal and a special occasion. The food is elevated but relatable. The presentation is also top notch. I find few menus where I would sincerely enjoy every dish, but Hudson is one of those. Check out the brunch, too, as you won’t be disappointed.
Service was a bit slow, but overall good. My food (the seabass w/ sticky rice and bok choy) was phenomenal. My husband ordered the prime rib and wasn't blown away.

Waiter was a bit abrasive, loudly interrupting us rather than politely waiting for a quick break to make his presence known. He was upbeat and friendly but really intrusive.

Hudson 29 is my new favorite. This is the 5th time I’ve been there to dine since a July. I love the outside seating area. And their brunch is great, especially the Eggs Benedict. I highly recommend. Great servers and service.
