   I called prior to my reservation to see if the patio was still reserved for us as indicated in my notes. Whoever I spoke to disclosed that the patio would not be available and she was accommodating in getting me another location that was desirable, which was very much appreciated. Once we showed up to the restaurant I asked if it was at all possible to sit on the patio as there was no indication that it could not be utilized. Weather was amazing for a happy hour and rain had passed 2+ hours prior. She said it would take 30 minutes to clean up. I was a little shocked considering across the street at Townhall they had their patio wiped down in about 15 minutes. There were 3-4 girls standing around talking while they could have been getting the patio “ready” (it truly didn’t need much in my opinion). In customer service the little things matter and it felt as if the staff wanted to limit their service radius to accommodate their own needs. I could be very wrong. Overall I have raved to friends about the service at Hubbard Grille for years, but lately, it isn’t the same.

   The food was good, the portion sizes are worth the money, and the ambiance is a vibe! Nice for a slight date night!

   Ridiculous up-charge to change out side dishes, service was slow and the restaurant wasn’t busy. The food I order lacked flavor. For the price this was an underwhelming experience.

   Our family came for dinner and were disappointed by some of the food that came out. The New Zealand rack of lamb was so over marinated, it tasted like soy sauce and nothing else. I was only able to eat one of the three chops. The mashed potatoes were also underwhelming. Not creamy or flavorful. My wife’s ahi tuna wrap was so under seasoned that she assumed the kitchen may have forgotten a sauce or some other flavoring. One the positive, the burger, wings and calamari were all very good. Having been here before, we expected that all our dishes would be equally delicious. Unfortunately, last night they were not.

   First visit yesterday, for dinner. Was very impressed by the ambience, the comfortable seating, the attentiveness and professionalism of the waiter, the quality of the food and drinks. There is a good range of price options on the menu, and all of it looked very good. We liked it so much we decided to get a dessert, which was a shareable size. ;)
