Good family meal spot.
We started dinner at the Hub with excellent customer service. We were all thirsty from a day of hiking around Tucson, and our water glasses were promptly refilled. By the end, I think the staff was overwhelmed. I would recommend the ice cream but not the apple crisp.
I am very impressed with how the Hub is following Covid protocols. All of the staff wore masks and made our group feel comfortable. They have a great outdoor area for dining which made us feel even safer. The best thing about the Hub is the food though! I had the cod po'boy and tots and they were fantastic. One of my companions wanted a burger without a bun and the server offered to wrap it in lettuce instead. That attention to customer needs is excellent.
One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. Great atmosphere. Delicious food. Drinks are a vig small
Another great dinner Friday night at the Hub. Good social distancing protocols. The food was very good and priced appropriately. Great service.
Great taste to the food as always.
Amazing food and service. Had a great evening. Would recommend.
Haven’t been here in a long time but was pleasantly surprised how great the food was.
I ordered the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It was delicious but skimpy on the lobster. The lobster pieces probably were six small bites. I have had Cajun shrimp mac n cheese at another place and their bowl was not only cheaper ($7.50) but also larger (twice as much) of course that was five years ago - not pandemic times! So I totally understand what restaurants are going through just to stay alive. I do plan to go back, loved the music and being able to sit outside on a perfect afternoon. My friend had the avocado salad with Salmon on it and she loved it! All together we had a great afternoon.
We have always loved Hub Downtown so when they finally reopened due to COVID shutdown we had to go to support them.
I feel bad to say my food was just good. The flavors were very good but my Mac and cheese pasta was too hard. They used orecchiette pasta which takes longer to cook.
It wasn’t as creamy as usual. In saying that it still tasted good.
My husband had the carbonara and said it was good. He did ask for more grated cheese but the waiter brought out shredded cheddar cheese. When we said something he responded that’s all we have. But our friend had a Caesar salad which has grated parmigiana cheese. We explained it to him. He should have known the different cheeses for dishes. He finally figured it out and brought us correct cheese. All is good.
Overall a great place and will always eat at The Hub. Food and ice cream thumbs up.
We always eat at Hub when we visit Tucson. Great food and a great ambiance. Love this lively, fun place. Gotta get some ice cream too!
Sangria Fria is the bomb! You should sell that by the bottle :) Haven’t been to HUB in a while and we’ve always liked the food, and since it was fall, went with chicken pot pie, some avocado crab toast, house salad with chili lime dressing and of course the ice cream! Service was excellent, clean tables, appropriate social distancing. Very nice dinner.
I just wish we were asked where we wanted to sit for the reservation not always a fan of sitting outside if the seating is not comfortable so that was the only downside of the experience
Group of 6 friends decided to head downtown for lunch after a round of golf. The HUB is the perfect place for a wonderful social lunch. The food was excellent and service superb. Every was very pleased with their meals. We’ll certainly be back.
We arrived late to our reservation from a flight delay yet we were still taken care of like family. Felt like we were in a different city all together. Also do not get me started with the ice cream so good. We are there twice for dinner and did not regret it.
Had an amazing experience as usual! Glad their back open!
The food is always fabulous! There are so many great choices and variety.
Used to be a great place to go. Felt like everyone’s first day working in a restaurant. Forgot multiple orders, food was average, beer was sour.
We were happy the hub reopened it is one of our favorite places to visit we ordered the HH curds my son order the enchiladas my wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the carbonara with shrimp and crab . You were happy to see that the service and food was still excellent or server was Very polite and knowledgeable about the menu we cannot wait to revisit the hub
We needed a quiet space for a meeting and Corey placed us in a side room that was perfect. Very accommodating.
The Hub has fantastic food. We take all of our out of town guests to The Hub for their pot pies and all their delicious food. Our favorite place for special occasions too.
I hadn't visited Hub in years, and unfortunately it seems to have gone downhill. The service was polite but unremarkable, and the food was very pricey for what you received. There are many better places that are more reasonably priced to get tastier, quality food.
This meal was excellent and service matched. It's a great place for a business lunch or lunch with your loved ones. If you are downtown in Tucson, don't miss out on The Hub.
The Hub is one of the staples of downtown Tucson. The food is always good, and the ice cream is a special treat with many creative flavors.
This was a lunch visit, and the waiter, who has served us before, was excellent. He was very accommodating and seemed to be back at exactly the right times.
The Hub has a great assortment of amazing food! I have never had anything there that I didn’t love! I highly recommend the salmon. The ice cream flavors are fantastic as well! We love this place!
We dined here for the first time today during lunchtime and absolutely loved everything. The ambiance was amazing, loved the modern feel, exposed red brick, bar, lighting and cleanliness. The food, drinks and service were all extraordinary. All of us will certainly return in the near future.
Went for Impossible burger. They no longer can get Impossible, are now serving Beyond Burger, but was very tasty and staff was attentive and friendly.
Great food, healthy options and the ice cream is amazing!! Hip environment but very family friendly! We will be back.
Lovely table outside in perfect weather with a friend from out of town. Hub helped our guest fall in love with Tucson.
Wonderful dining experience!
Well design place.
The service was good.
The food was great. We had Poke
Let me start by saying the food was fantastic. Our waitress was great.
So why a 3 star review? The food coming out of the kitchen was slower than molasses. While we like to take our time and enjoy our dinner- we had a time we needed to be out of there by for previous commitments - and ended up cutting it close. We even allowed 2 hours due to the holiday, and a sunday lunch crowd. Will we try this place again? Yes. Have a recommended to others already- yes but with the caveat- the kitchen was very slow so be prepared to wait ....a long time.
Nice place to meet friends for lunch or dinner. The menu is varied and everything is home made. I ordered chicken pot pie and it was the best I've ever eaten. My friend had fish and chips that were so authentic they could have been from jolly old London. I've never been disappointed.
My parents and I had a really special time at Hub last Sunday. The food and service were impeccable. Brandy made my family and I feel very welcome. The whole staff have both an efficiency and kindness to them which is rare.
The food was great! I specifically went for the lobster mac and cheese and it was delicious! We also had the fried cheese curds, BEST I have ever had! Very light and crispy. What I didn't like was although it was during HAPPY HOUR, we were told that was only in the bar, NOT the restaurant, and there was no table in the bar. Also, we were told we could not get reservations after 3:45 but when we were finished and leaving, the place was still nearly empty.
The Mac and cheese not cheesy and the burger was over done
Super cute place with great menu options. Went on a busy weekend and service was slow! But still a fun place with good food, so I would go back.
We always enjoy the Hub. Service is great and we can carry on a conversation. While the food has always been outstanding, this time, I felt my salmon burger was a little over cooked and the char was bit much. We will be back.
Interesting old downtown building. Good food. Fabulous salads. Fried cheese curds worth the calories!
Great Tucson staple. Ice cream has creative flavors and food is very good. Fun place to have a drink or munch out.
