I was looking forward to trying this local downtown favorite, so I met some out-of-town friends there. I would have to say I was somewhat disappointed; our server seemed impatient and not prone to being informative, and the restaurant wasn't busy at the time, so that was puzzling. Food was decent, but not notable for flavor or originality. Not sure I'd try it again; there's a lot of competition out there.

Very nice, as always. There seemed to be a bit of a delay in getting our order but, it was Mother’s Day at lunch time. The three of us enjoyed our meal and the service was attentive.

It was Mother's Day so a slight delay in the kitchen was expected but when it was over 30 minutes that's on the too long side. The food was tasty but temperature wise not as good as in the past visits. Our server could have communicated more frequently about the delays in the kitchen.

Gotta get the Prime Fries and Glory Curds!! Late night after a show my wife and I got in at 10:00. Best fries ever- with carmelized onions and smothered in home make cheese sauce (not orange canned whizz). Curds were huge and tender in a super crispy batter. Service was fast and attentive.

We had a lovely table in the private dining room with a window seat/view of downtown action. The waiter was very attentive and accommodating. He did a great job! The food was great. And the ice cream delish! We choose The Hub when we are going to events at the Fox all the time. Just can’t be beat!

When we attend a function downtown we always eat first at the HUB. Although not really "central", everything is within easy walking distance of the hot spots. Both of us have tried quite a few items on the menu and none have been disappointing. Prices seem to be a little higher than other downtown restaurants, but the quality and ambiance more than makes up for it. Our latest adventure was a cheeseburger and Caesar salad with Chicken. Cost was $50.00. However we got window seats this time. (I would recommend to do it again). It’s a great spot to people watch and enjoy the drinks while waiting for the food. Although the Ice Creamery seems to be popular, we havent tried it because we have always been full when leaving. The staff has always been very attentive, even with a packed house. We will continue to visit anytime we have a downtown function!

Dining at HUB Restaurant bring as back memories that make me want to pinch myself. The flavors rekindle the memories of traditional home cooked meals. The eating experience ranges from home comfort to classic greats. The service is well orchestrated, from bar drinks to warm plates with great flavors. Our table of friends enjoyed the Mac & cheese, Shrimp and grits and the salmon…each one cooked to perfection and to everyone’s specific retirements. Great to see HUB Restaurant operating of all cylinders and keeping prices reasonable. Our group will be back again and again.
