Of two eggs Benedict one was dry and overcooked, the other just right. Odd they weren't cooked at the same time, in the same process.
This restaurant was recommended to me by a coworker. My friends and I loved it. Great food, great drinks (get the pitcher of the punch), great background music. The prices weren’t that expensive either. The cheeseburger was amazing as well as the guacamole dip!
Great waitress, Robyn, had a blast, good food.
I love to come to Hub 51 whenever I am in town. Food is delicious and consistently so. Cocktails are always just what I needed at the end of the day. Wait staff are great-attentive enough but not too much. Hub 51 always delivers a great experience.
Great food and ambiance! Service was outstanding- Vanessa took care of our large group without missing a beat. Highly recommend for a unique casual dining experience!
Mariah was outstanding - very attentive yet not interrupting. I will look for her every time i eat st Hub51.
Best cheeseburger and sparkling rosa . Great way to get over a hangover
Unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment. The food was terrible, and had it not been for the cost of the meal, it wouldn't be worth leaving a review. The meal cost was too much for that low of quality. Our waitress was nice, no complaints there with the staff.
Went here before a show and it was wonderful! The food was great, same with the atmosphere and service. I would definitely go back!
My decision to take my friends to brunch at Hub51 was a total disaster. First, this restaurant is described as Family Friendly on Lettuce Entertain You web site, but they didn't even have a children's menu (nor any crayons or menu to color, which can be helpful). We sat down just after 1pm and were informed that only the Brunch menu was available. During out stay, at about 2pm, we observed sushi (which was not on the brunch menu) being delivered to a table next to ours. Now when we sat down, I specifically asked about ordering sushi and was told that it was not available until after 3pm.
We ordered sandwiches (directly off the menu, no special items). After an hour, I had to track down our server to see where our food was (as I had observed the table next to ours, sit down after us, eat, and leave). He reappeared 10 minutes later stating that there was a "glitch" and that our food would be out soon. It arrived 10-15 minutes later (almost an 1.5 hour after we sat down). When the food arrived, one of the orders was incorrect (mustard on the sandwich and the request was for no mustard, per my pregnant friend), so it had to be sent back again to be re-done. At this point, my toddler was falling asleep at the table and needed to get home for a nap. What was supposed to be a quick lunch turned into a 2-3 hour adventure. We were told that the manager would "take care of it". But imagine my surprise when I then received a bill for over $50. Only 3 items were taken off. I asked our server about it and he went to check it out. Ten minutes later, our bill was taken care of. But no sincere apologies from the waiter or the manager. The food was mediocre and not worth the hassle. Would not return, especially with a toddler.
Both the breakfast nachos and avocado toast were outstanding. Great service and coffee too!
We were a little disappointed with the fish tacos. They were served with soft corn tortillas and seemed to be soggy. The atmosphere was very good and our server was excellent.
We showed up for dinner at 6 on a Saturday and valeted our car. The service was phenomenal. We got the Poke appetizer and it was unique and delicious. My husband and I both got tacos, vegetarian and fish which was a good portion and really good. not particularly unique, but good food. The valet is really slow but other than that a good experience.
We had a great experience at Hub51. Other people have commented on the pulled chicken nachos and they are excellent. There was more than enough for the three of us as we got them as a appetizer before our main meal. The drinks were great and was surprised that they had Goose Island Bourbon County Stout on tap. We will definitely come back.
We had a terrific dinner before catching a show at The Chicago Theater. The service was extremely friendly and prompt, and the food was very good. The prices were very reasonable for that area of the city. Will definitely have to make a return trip to try the famed nachos that everyone seemed to be eating!
