Nice place with very fresh looking food, but lacking in flavor. Our waitress was good. The place wasn’t that busy and we were in and out in no time. I had the Kung Pao which had nice large pieces of white meat chicken with very fresh red and green peppers. Dish was just bland. There was one hot pepper in the entire dish, which by the way was a generous portion.
A friendly but totally incompetent server. Had zero knowledge of the menu. Came by the table only once every 20 minutes. Asked for gluten free food, and by my body's response, am pretty sure the meal was anything but.
I wanted to find a great Chinese food restaurant and I've been looking for a very long time. My birthday was on Friday and I made a reservation here and let me just say the food was absolutely amazing! Staff was friendly and on point.
Food tasted great especially the pork belly. One of our favorites. However, the food we ordered was drowning in sauce which was a little off putting.
Had a wonderful time. Food and service were both excellent. We will be back!
Excellent food and service. Drinks were great (Peking old fashioned and martini’s) and food was fantastic. Peking duck, both regular and crispy ....MaLa stir fry and Garlic stir fry...and the spicy dumplings.
The food and service was absolutely great. Only one other place I've been to (in Atlanta) has delicious excellent Hot and Sour Soup...this place has delicious hot and sour soup! Had a phenomenal cocktail that I wish I could remember the name of. Tasted like flower nectar... I believe it had lychee juice and lychee liqueur in it.
Be cautious of reservation times. Had reservation at 7:30, wasn't seated until after 8:30.
The food is the best!!! And it wasn’t extremely pricey. It’s definitely worth the money. They were not stingy with the liquor that went into the cocktails and they were delicious. Our waiter was chill and on top of his stuff, I believe his name was Gabriel. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing some friends with me
I had not tried this place before, but won't be returning. The service was terrible and the food was bland and unappetizing. Very disappointing experience.
Great spot for an upscale Chinese dining experience . Love the Peking Duck. Service was outstanding.
We used an open table coupon, but were only allowed $10 on a $20 coupon. Restaurants should not be allowed to adjust the coupon’s Worth . I feel strongly about that. It is a loss to the finer who had been loyal to open table!
It was very good. It was our first time at the Restsurant .
The food was delicious the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was just great.
Wow! Compared to other comparable locations... delicious.
Our family has a tradition of going out for Chinese food on Christmas Eve. This is our first visit and we were thrilled at how delicious everything we ordered was. We will definitely return here!
Food was bland - four different dishes and all were bland.
Even better the next day
It was good but not out of this world great. Apps were good, typical Chinese apps (we had the chicken lettuce wraps and egg rolls). The entrees were okay but I wouldn’t get the sea bass again - super pricey and a super small portion, fishy and tasted almost as if it was frozen and then thawed and heated when ordered - I could have bought a better piece of fish from TJ’s or Kroger to be honest - but husband enjoyed his beef and veggies that came in a skillet which was in a spicy sauce. We’d go back if we really wanted to din in for Chinese but I’d order something different (not sure what though as I’m GF and a pescatarian and the options for those like me were far and few on the menu). A bit pricy for average Chinese. Inside is cute and the outside bar is cool too if you go for drinks. Server was so wonderful, very sweet and attentive.
Awesome! Great place!
Very quiet Thursday night. Went because of rave reviews. Food was tasty but not exceptional. Entree came out before we were even halfway through the appetizer. Grrr! Calling this a Brasserie I was expecting more originality. Mint is a better choice.
Food was so so. Service was so so. Very nice folks and I have been looking for a good Chinese restaurant closer in. But we won't be back.
We have been looking for a restaurant in Dallas that served egg foo young for years, and were pleasantly surprised with Howard Wangs version... Sauce was delicious, vegetables and shrimp were cooked outside the patties, different, but delicious nonetheless, we went back for my birthday dinner! Portions were huge, took leftovers home and had for dinner the next night!
We will definitely return!
Nice dining experience. Our server Jordan did a good job, she was a tad abrupt at the beginning, tryin to get us to order. Once she saw we wanted to have conversation first, she was great.
Waitress was a little too eager. We felt rushed because she came to our table so many times. Maybe it was because the restaurant was slow when we got there but nonetheless we felt like we were being pushed to eat quickly and leave. I've never felt pressured to leave when a restaurant was essentially empty. Kind of bizarre to me.
We don't usually gravitate towards Chinese food but had been here for lunch and really enjoyed it. It is much nicer than your traditional Chinese restaurant, and the food is great. We selected it for Mother's Day and were so glad that we did as Mass ran late, and the restaurant employees were very gracious when we arrived late. We had a party of five. Everyone was pleased with the cocktails, appetizers and entrees.
Nice! We had a 11:45am reservation and showed up at an empty restaurant (except for 1-2 tables). We had good service and saw a simple menu of typical items with some surprises. We went for the surprises. I had the Singapore Noodles and my wife had the Shrimp in Lobster Broth. Both very flavorful and the quality was obvious. Portions were very generous - I actually couldn't finish my Singapore noodles. The Hot & Sour soup was actually hot (spicy) for a change - most places go mild. All in all, a nice find for us. If we lived in the 'hood we'd go there a lot.
This is one of my favorite places. I have been here several times and have never been disappointed. I LOVE the Vanilla Prawns!
Food and service was very good. We had an enjoyable dinner with friends.
The hostess and food were great! Our server was mediocre at best. She was not attentive and made it seem Roche a bother we were there.
It's was our first time a d really enjoyed it. The crab ragoon is the best in town. A notch up from Pei Wei. The food was delicious. Wonton soup cane out less than Hot, but the server corrected it. Next time we will try the outside/inside bar. GREAT Date spot
Great food
Nice place
Clean
Good location
I have not had good Chinese food since leaving CA years ago. This place was fantastic. I WILL be driving from McKinney to eat here when I get the craving.
My Mom and I went in for dinner on Monday night. She had never been there. It was fantastic! I order delivery a lot, but hadn't been in the restaurant in about 5 years. Great decor, the food is even better there and always made to order. We had great service and low and behold half off wine night! Great experience! Next time, I'll try to go in rather than order delivery.
The food was fantastic. We will return in the near future.
Food was decent - Nothing special especially for the price. Ambience was a little weird - the place was crowded as we even had to wait a little after our reservation time. However, it seemed strangely quiet - background music needed to be turned up it seemed like.
Entrees were good.
Potstickers too doughy.
Steam rolls did have much of a taste even with the peanut sauce.
Came here for New Year's Eve dinner. Traditional Chinese restaurant. Food was fresh & delicious. Service was attentive. Quiet. Didn't realize it was close by. Will definitely recommend & return.
Best Chinese food in Uptown/Oaklawn area of Dallas (and among the best in entire DFW area), and one of the best reasonably priced restaurants in Dallas. Great service.
Very good food. Servers and management very professional.
