Houston's is an upscale yet comfortable restaurant providing American classics elevated to restaurant quality. Everything in the kitchen is made from scratch each and every day. This includes all of the sauces, dressings and soups and more. In fact, even all of the bread is baked fresh each day and the juices for brunch squeezed fresh each morning.Houston's menu starts with a selection of burgers and sandwiches that cover a wide range of flavors and styles. Diners will find a California burger with avocado, arugula, red onion and Monterey jack cheese, as well as the signature famous French dip with thinly sliced roast prime rib and au jus which is served on house-baked French bread. The house specialty entrées are given their own box in the middle of the menu to highlight favorites like Cajun trout, seared tuna steak, Faroe Island salmon, slow-roasted pork filet and Hawaiin rib-eye.

I was meeting my girlfriend here for dinner and drinks. I sat at a two person table in the bar. Unfortunately, my girlfriend got stuck in really bad traffic and didn't get there until I had been there an hour and 20 minutes. I had ordered a drink and appetizer. When my friend showed up she ordered a drink and then we ordered dinner. After we ate we went to order a glass of wine and the waitress upsold us to a bottle of wine. We now had been there probably 3 hours counting my time without my friend. Within, 30 minutes Vista Murphy (co-manager) told us we had to leave that we had been there too long. She was so rude. Then 10 mins later we asked to talk to her again. Still in disbelief that we had just been ask to leave. We had a $160 bill. She said again that we need to leave and put our bottle of wine in a bag and asked us to pay the bill. We walked out shocked and didn't know what to say. We didn't leave a tip because we stop having service and they just kicked us out. We went back in to see if we could talk to another manager and to get our money back for the bottle of wine that they refused to let us drink. A guy came out of the kitchen and just laid into us in front of clients and staff. Told us that he now has to tip his GIRLS...and that we had more then enough time in his restaurant. And then told us that we are to NEVER come back again. We are two 50 year old women that were just sitting have conversation. I can say I have NEVER been treated like this. It was disrespectful, humiliating and shocking! I will never be going back to Houston's or any other Hillstone Restaurant Group locations.

I have been to several Hillstone Group restaurants and all are excellent. The food is good, entrees are reasonably priced, and the wines are marked up by about 50% as opposed to doubling or tripling of retail. Service is typically excellent and the ambiance, while not quiet, is energetic and alive.

Wonderful food and staff. Kale salad is yummy. And you never can go wrong with the spinach dip. Can't wait to go back!

I've always loved this place! I've been going there for the past 20 years but, this past Friday I did not enjoy my meal. I had to send my Prime Rib back because it was under cooked. When it came back it was still under cooked so I just finished my potato. Maybe it's time to find another location.

Our dining experience was good 3/16/17. We used to frequent Houston's at least 1-2 times a month. That changed because the last time we were @ Houston's (w/reservations) we were asked to leave. The reason given: "we have a lot of people waiting with reservations." We did speak w/Mgmt by phone after leaving and were reassured that it should not have happened. He suggested that we should have ask for a manager before leaving the restaurant. But, as previously stated our dining experience 3/16/17 was good. We've decided the best way to avoid future episodes like the previous - to pay our check when we are ready to leave the restaurant. Customer Service ends when you leave the restaurant.

The food and service was great as expected. Our main course came too quickly, however . We had not even finished our salads. I also had to send my salmon back since it was too rare for me. Our servers were fantastic.

It's so noisy... The music is so loud that you can't talk. Very annoying and food very mediocre. Avoid!!!!

It was a "get together with friends evening and one of our favorite restaurants for dinner." Our table and requested booth was ready for immediate seating, our servers were delightful and checked on us regularly. Our drinks from the bar were refreshing and everyone had a different entrée which we all enjoyed. Overall it was a great evening with friends and dining experience.

The food is always tasty, but the menu is very small and doesn't offer too many choices. It could also get very noisy. I would still recommend it because the food is so good.
