Dueling pianos is GREAT!!
Great music and so much fun!
Loved it here. It was a lot of fun and everyone was friendly
Went to celebrate a birthday instead got sat close by the door. When asked to sit in a both the guy ran up to the hostess to seat in a high top table. When neither of us wanted to sit there. When asked if we can sit in a booth was told they were all reserved by people with a reservation. I myself had a reservation but was not able to sit there. Thanks to that terrible/worst host that sat us. We bothered not to celebrate there. Other than that the food and waitresses that served on us were amazing. If only that guy wasn’t there to ruin our celebration night.
Great experience! Natalie texted beforehand confirming we’d like to see Tv’s for Sunday football and adjusted our reservation to 3 hours rather than 1 hour & 30. Never waited too long for a round of drinks or food. Absolutely will be back!!
Dueling Pianos is an amazing, fun night out in Hoboken! Perfect for the energetic friend group that has no shame singing along loudly to some Billy Joel! The food is decent (extremely limited gluten free options, unfortunately), the drinks are good, the price is steep but worth it for the amount of fun you'll have!
Chicken was dry and hard like a rock. Bill was $140 for 2 ppl. Otherwise it was nice ambiance
First visit and we will definitely be back! Great service and great food!
Our server was great and so was the food. This place is always a go to.
We went for New Year eve and the service, food, and staff were great. Social distancing measures were in place as well as masks. Great family evening.
Quality food and service on a football Sunday
Wings r great.. brisket good.. skip the ribs too dry and tough.
Loved the food, atmosphere and scenery..
Highly recommend it.
Went there because of the food, but we loved the ambiance very much!
Great time at House of Que! It was a great place to watch the game and they were super accommodating
Great place for Casual Dinner in Hoboken. Can even walk from the PATH train if you wanted to. Great views of Downtown NYC. Restaurant is waterfront with outdoor seating. Great atmosphere
Despite the wind; everything was awesome!
Waitress was hard to find after repeated attempts to find . Had to ask 2 different people for take out boxes and get check .
Food was tender and well cooked however it was very bland. The service was decent and so was the environment however the drink prices were insane. Ordered a margarita and it was way too tart and seemed like no Tequila thus order a shot and added it which helped but still not good thus ordered a double shot and added it and was better but not good and had no clue that the drink would up being $56.00 by the time I added the shots. 14 bucks for drink then 14 for single shot and finally 28 for double to make the drink almost tolerable. NUTS!
While we want HoQ to do well during these tough times, allowing packed tables of very loud, obnoxious people to sit (and/or walk back/forth between tables) and drink for hours is unacceptable and definitely takes away from the pleasant experience others expect. There should be a 90 minute limit. (As is posted at the restaurant). Anyway, the food was good. Drinks were good too. It is what it is - plastic cups on picnic benches. .
Great atmosphete. Even better food.
Amazing!!! Loved the BBQ
Best day to Visit Thursday!
The food was kind of cold by the time we got there. The recommended pulled pork sandwich was very flat didn’t have much on it and didn’t have much flavor.
Excellent food and service! They have done a wonderful job in setting up safe and social distanced tables to make the dining experience enjoyable!
Staff was very attentive. Beer towers and their amazing 48 hours marinated chicken wings are what I take my friends here for. Outdoor seating is lit right by the waterfront. Amazing views of NYC. Prices are on the mid side. Two beer towers, 4 orders of wings and 2 orders of fries run you up for ~$200+tip for 6 people, YES!
This place gets packed very quickly so reservation is recommended if you have a large group. Try their beer towers nice to show them off on your table.
We got a nice seat with a great view. Our appetizers came very quick and once we finished the appetizers our food came out. Perfect timing. All of the food was delicious. Our server provided excellent service as well.
The outdoor dining area is pinick tables its not the sexiest or most romantic. Food isn’t bad but nothing to brag about. Staff moved quickly tho
Food was horrible. My chicken was so dry it tasted liked wood.
The food was great. Was a little hesitant given the other reviews, but we all really enjoyed what we ordered. I'm only giving this 4 stars because we did feel rushed. There was an hour and a half time limit which I understand needs to be enforced during this time, however we felt like we were rushed out of there. I understand rushing people along if they are just hanging out, but we had just finished eating and not even ordered dessert or asked if we wanted dessert when the server finally came over and told us we had 10 minutes left. With that being said, they did allow us to stay longer when we ordered dessert.
We went here to try something different. BBQ is never at the top of my list. COVID restrictions had us dining outside along the street. Very windy not good. Food was okay, service slow ad the beer warm. Not a great combination. I’m checking off the House of Que box as there is no reason to go back.
The food was just alright. The pork was super dry and hard to swallow so we had to ask for BBQ sauce. The fries and onion rings were great. The burger was overcooked, the chicken was alright.
Great service and beautiful view made for a nice night out
Fantastic service and pleasant experience overall.
The food wasn’t great, the deviled eggs were bland and baked potato was small with very little meat. The nacho are good, but they should have meat. The wings were the best thing on the menu. Also the chicken was unseasoned, and ribs weren’t great either. Which they put alittle more effort into the bbq.
The service was great! The outdoor tables were also spaced out.
One waitress for many tables, food is claimed as smoked but it is not because the wings were fried not smoked as well as brisket not smoked. Not sure why they would claim smoked and food is not quite up to par.
Great location. Drinks are good. Sausages were good. Brisket was a bit dry. Ribs were ok.
Server provided the worst service ever. It was my wife’s bday. I told the server we would be ordering desserts, she acknowledged, but brought the bill. She left us without refills for extended periods and the runners helped us more than the server. Additionally, the apps were great, but the brisket was over salted, not very tender, and more fat than not. Potato salad is dry. The food and service was not worth. We won’t return.
Came during COVID. Great food and drinks came by fast and worked out pretty well without a long wait.
