House of Prime Rib Ratings and Reviews
Suggest making a reservation because walk in wait can be awhile. We got there a little early before out reservation but was able to sit in the bar area and have a drink. Overall the food was good and portions huge... Definitely took left over home. The prime rib was perfect and delicious and adding the raw horseradish made it that much more tasty.
I finally made it to the House of Prime Rib after so many years of wanting to go. Overall, it was awesome! The prime rib is as good as it gets, and prices for both the food and the wine are very reasonable considering how much you're getting. Only issue was that it took 35 minutes after we arrived to get seated (despite having a reservation) so keep that in mind during busy times.
My husband loves prime rib, it's typically not my favorite but I figured what the heck. I was glad I did! The food and the service were outstanding. We arrived early as it took us close to an hour to drive here, used the valet parking, and went and had a drink at the bar. My lemon drop was fantastic, but my husbands old fashioned need to be stirred to quite a bit. We were seated before our reservation and let the feast begin! The salad was wonderful, the prime rib and sides fantastic, and we got dessert to go since we were too full to eat it right then. We will definitely be back!
Had a 10pm reservation, got there at 9:22pm had a table for 2 by 9:30pm. That was perfect because I didn’t want to spend any more money on drinks waiting in the cool waiting room! Lol! Every thing was up to par, great service, excellent food, and a friendly and hardy environment. My fiancé loved her birthday dinner, will be mos def coming back for seconds!
This was our first experience at the House of Prime Rib and it was everything we had heard about it. The service was exceptional and the food was AMAZING! Our table had different cuts of meat, different sides and a variety of desserts and it was all delicious! We will definitely be back!! Thank you for a very special evening!
Went here for New Year's Eve with the girlfriend and other close friends. The food was great along with the service. The only issue we had was that we were placed under the A/C vent which was blasting cold air on us all night long. We all ended up being extremely cold and I think our food got cold a lot sooner than normal due to the A/C.
From the first time coming here as a child to now coming here with my own family...it still all tastes the same. Delicious, simple and classic best describes HOPR. My 8 year old can’t wait to to come back already! (And he’s a picky eater so that says a lot!) thanks for always making our bellies happy and full!!
Not recommended for busy nights. It's a fixed price for your dinner and all of the sides. We went on New Years Eve, and in short, we were not served one of the side dishes. We were told that this was because they were very busy and they didn't have enough oven capacity. So basically, if they kitchen is running behind, they will cut food from your order and still charge you full price. With no apology and no attempt to make it up to you.
Went for my 50th and had a great time. Food was delicious as usual, so glad they haven't changed their classic winning combination of items. Only one minor thing was my friends requested to wear chef hats a few times and never got them. But we had a great time nevertheless. Thank you!!
Rude service, what's the point of having a reservation if you still end up waiting for a table.. Front desk reception is rude...use to come often to this restaurant will never return over rated.... pretentious staff, rather take my business else where with better service and prime rib
I have no idea what the hype is about. If you want to pay $50 per person for food that is just ok, feel free. The best thing we had was the mashed potatoes due to the gravy, everything else (spinach, corn, prime rib, yorkshire pudding, & apple crisp desert) was absent of flavor sad to say.
