House of Prime Rib
Very good service. The salad is not that good, but the prime rib was excellent
Our reservation was 8:30 and we wanted to eat earlier so we had to eat at the bar.
House of Prime Rib is exactly what the name implies. You get excellent prime rib. If your entire party is ready for some delish red meat, go.
It.is.loud. and crowded.
Our waiter this time was no where near as good as Antonio my usual waiter
Great food and ambience - if we’re being nit picky, the restaurant was really hot and somewhat loud, but overall a wonderful experience. We’ll be back with other out of town guests
Food is good but nothing special and over priced. Service isn't what I expect from a restaurant so famous. We won't go back
House of Prime Rib is a great option for a weekend getaway that you would like to make extra special. The prime rib is exquisite! The best I've ever had. The mashed potatoes were my favorite side. The creamed corn and the creamed spinach were just okay- not too bad but not anything special. The Yorkshire pudding was my least favorite of the whole meal. It was split in half between my boyfriend and I, and was plopped onto my plate on top of my sides by the waiter. I didn't appreciate it blanketing over my food like that. Both my boyfriend and I ended up moving it to our bread plates and not touching it for the rest of the evening. The warm sourdough bread they served in the beginning of the meal was delicious and therefore was used to soak up the delicious juices and fixings of my meal! The salad was a great experience to watch be tossed, however our waiter dropped the salt and you could visibly see he was annoyed with himself and didn't want to execute the rest of the performance that each waiter at HOPR has been choreographed to perform table side. All in all, I would definitely consider coming again for a special occasion. No more than twice a year, though, because it is an expensive restaurant. However, I definitely believe everyone should try to go at least once in their life to see what HOPR has to offer!
We went for a family dinner and love going here. We go maybe 1-2 times a year and it’s great for kids and adults. Valet parking is very convenient, especially with little ones. Will be back again!
Great time and great food. Overall great experience
Server offered to switch out the house salad for a salad with oil and vinegar, then forgot and didn’t mind that 2 of the 3 salads were untouched.
Also, I requested a birthday celebration for my husband and nothing arrived but the check!
It’s the place to go for prime rib but don’t expect personal attention.
We went here for a friends dinner and it was the best choice we made! The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Thank you for making this worth it!
There were four of us in our group. The prime rib was outstanding as was the service and drinks. It had been years since I had been to HOPR and they certainly did not disappoint after all these years. We recommend this place to anyone who likes prime rib and wants a fantastic dining experience.
Our prime rib meal seemed to lack flavor. Service was a little less than average. It felt rushed and less personal and we got the impression that they were moving us along faster so that they can get the next customers at our table. We haven't been here in a couple years and now it seems like it has changed for less positive reasons.
It's as if one day God rolled up his sleeves and decided to create the perfect restaurant..
Wonderful place to dine with family! Love the salad and of course the prime rib as well!!
Excellent food. Excellent service from my waiter and the staff
The best prime rib ANYWHERE! We have been going here for over 40 years and I love it so much..
It was so hot we couldn’t enjoy our meal.
There is a reason the House of Prime Rib is crowded nightly and reservations need to be made well in advance. The complete Prime Rib dinner with salad and sides is top of the line, and the price easily beats that of comparable steak houses.
Amazing! I did feel our food took a little long to come out, but that also may have been because our table were SUPER hungry. With out reservation, we were seated almost immediately even though we were around 30 minutes early. The server was tentative and made sure our food and drinks were to our standards.
Love HOPR, come here at least 1x a year! Food is always on point and I come out overly full, but totally worth it. Service was a bit off last night...waiter seemed pretty flighty and also forgot my espresso at the end of the night. BUT he brought it anyways and comped it, so all ended well.
Best prime rib EVER. Great service and beautiful place. Couldn’t have asked for more!
Outstanding prime rib at the House of Prime Rib! We always have a great time here. Great bar, friendly staff (the carvers are super), and delicious food. This visit our waiter seemed a little "off;" just not quite up to the usual, high standards of this restaurant (maybe he wasn't feeling well or prehaps had some issue in his life that bothered him). But we didn't let that bother our evening; we were celebrating. We still had a wonderfu time! We will return soon.
We had such a great time! The servers were very attentive and explained everything!
Celebrated our friend's birthday and had a great time with exceptional food and service.
Awesome food and service, dining room is loud though!
Consistent, delicious, warm, friendly. Always a terrific dinner with the best prime rib and sides.
My birthday, it was a good experience for my first time here.
Love the ‘old school’ feel.
Birthday dinner for a friend, amazing as always!
Great as usual!
The meat was cooked to med/rare perfection! Even the loaded baked potato and creamed spinach were outstanding. Not to mention the house salad dressed at the table.
Expensive and must make reservations WAY in advance but definitely worth it for a special occasion!
Amazing quality and fun dining experience! We always have the best time at House of Prime Rib
It was wonderful as always
The House of Prime Rib still serves some tasty prime rib but the noise and overall dining experience has deteriorated over the years. Ever since the cocktail lounge was converted to additional dining space, it seems the focus has been on volume of customers served.
The famous salad is not what is was; the serving is smaller and ingredients not as choice as years past.
We enjoyed our dinner but if you are looking for a restaurant that is less active and less noisy, you may want to dine elsewhere.
House of Prime is amazing! We heard that it was an old fashioned place with good food and service. We did not expect it to be so reasonably priced. I ordered the extra large cut of Prime Rib which has a bone and is said to be 14 oz. It looked huge and tasted great. I was surprised that for under $50 I got a huge and delicious salad, bread and later cornbread, Yorkshire pudding, wonderfully seasoned creamed spinach, loaded baked potato, and creamed corn. 3 types of Horseradish that were different strengths and all excellent and as much Au Jous as you want. Honestly, I should not have eaten all of that food, but it all tasted so good. I advise that you take some home if you do not want to gain weight. We also had the English Cut which was thinner style and it was excellent as well, though we both enjoyed the thicker more traditional cut better. The martinis are killer. They shake it at the table, pour you a martini, and leave you the shaker cup. Honestly - truly excellent food, great service, and outstanding prices for what you get. No wonder we had to make reservations 3 months in advance!
My favorite restaurant anywhere. Like anywhere on the whole planet!
Just does not disappoint
