   We enjoyed our first meal at Houndstooth on Saturday night. The food and service was impeccable! The best part of the night was meeting Dayn!

   We enjoyed the experience but being a former culinary student with a degree n CA one thing killed me: the black pepper souffle was incorrectly done. The souffle had started to bloom but did not get done in the middle. I ended up with a mass of hot under cooked dough that tasted like over spiced pepper gravy. Ultimately, I noticed that my cup was taller and wider than my wife's, hers was done. I think they underestimated the differences in cook time. I wouldn't normally mention it but at this level, the food should be seamless and near perfect.

   We really enjoyed our dinner, the gentle ambiance, delicious food, wine pairing, friendly welcome and service. It was by far the most expensive meal I have ever paid for and I would have preferred to choose my percentage of tip rather than have it already printed on my bill, which , with the extra taxes, added nearly another $100.

   Excellent food and service. Unique and top quality. Only minor complaint would be a bit the wine pairing, wines were broadly ok, pours conservative.

   This was a very enjoyable evening. The venue and staff are outstanding. The food is very good, but not truly outstanding. It got very expensive, very quickly. Perhaps it was the round of drinks at the bar prior to dinner. Whatever, the tab was almost $1,000 for a group of 4. Wow!

   This was my second visit to the Houndstooth and it’s blown me away both times: exceptional food, lovely ambience, and I’ve greatly enjoyed exchanging pleasantries with Chef Dayn when he comes around to the tables at the end of the meal. Can’t wait to return!

   Simply a fantastic meal. Wonderful service. Food was delicious. First course was incredible and every subsequent course was even better.

    We chose Glen Gordon Manor (Houdstooth) to celebrate our anniversary and it more than delivered. It was an intimate dinner with attentive and personable waitstaff. We were able to meet the chef prior to our meal, gather a drink, and tour the manor house...all very relaxing and enjoyable. The chef paired wines with each course and all were outstanding. Once again, I tasted and enjoyed foods I'd never had before and the price was very reasonable. Great value, great food, and great service!
