First time at this establishment. Went for brunch and they did not disappoint! Menu choices are abundant and the food was amazing! Highly recommend.

Wednesday Happy Hour. Great food and drinks. Nice atmosphere

The food was tasty and the service efficient and pleasant, however it took us almost as long to pay our bill as it did to order and eat our meal. Unfortunately this left us with a poor experience which we are not keen to repeat anytime soon.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner with friends on this night. The Cedar Planked Salmon was delicious and 3 others enjoyed Parmesan Tuna dish. All were perfectly cooked. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Dessert was great. We look forward to our next visit.

As always when we eat at Hot Tuna our server was attentive and our food was outstanding. Hot Tuna is our top choice for dining in the Great Neck Road/ Shore Drive area whatever the occasion.

We arrived a few minutes early and were seated immediately. We ordered food off the happy hour and the regular menu.
The vegan eggplant meatballs that was recommended by our waitress was delicious Everything that we ordered was exactly as we expected it to be. The waitress and her trainee were attentive and kept on finding out how things were as our meal progressed. As we were seated at a table for two it was wonderful that empty plates were whisked away quickly. We also had dessert that was totally decadent. Overall this was a great place for a meal. We will definitely revisit and recommend this restaurant.

Excellent waitress and delicious food

We showed up a little early for our reservation and still were able to be seated right away. Our waitress, Tiffany, was awesome and was even able to give (GREAT) recommendations when we were stuck between entrees. The she crab soup was so amazing I wanted to lick the bowl and our entrees were just as delicious. We had absolutely no complaints and they even ended the meal with a rose for each of us 💗. We will definitely be returning!

Hot Tuna never disappoints. We were able to get a last minute reservation for a busy sat. night - they sat us right away. We love the chicken lettuce wraps. And my standby favorite is the cedar plank salmon. It is always delicious. Our service was excellent. Everyone is so friendly. They really offer excellent service even when super busy. Always glad we went.

Great food, just a short ride out of Virginia Beach. Serving sizes were not massive but the food was very good quality.

Our cedar plank rockfish was great - as was our server. The negative was they seated my husband and me next to a table of 8 women who were having a VERY loud girls night out. Lots of yelling across the table back and forth and laughter. I'm glad they were having fun - but my husband and I suffered. Our server was very apologetic and agreed that they were off the charts in volume. We will not go back unless we can request a booth.

The service was excellent even though the place was extremely busy. Food was OK just not memorable. The most memorable part of the night was the noise level was extreme, even painful.

We ate on the porch since our requested booth by the inside window was not available and it was fine. Not many people out there so it was quiet. Waitress was great.

We eat at hot tuna frequently-food is good. The service was really bad I walked to the bar to get the drink I ordered when the bar tender told the sever the server never acknowledged how slow she was and it continued. When I spoke to the mngr she said come back tomorrow she’d give us a round of drinks-didn’t really feel it mattered to her we’d had such bad service.

Waitress was superb. Im allergic to mushrooms and just gave up on ordering something for myself as I did not want to be a nuisance by asking to sub; however, I'm sorry I can't remember her name, receipt is in the truck, she made suggestions and recommended various side options for subbing the mushroom items. I thank her.
