            I've been to Hot House in the past and the food quality has really seemed to have gone downhill since my wife and I had last been there. There used to be an omelette station which is gone. They used to get better quality beef for their roasts (was beef round which had a lot of gristle and a livery taste) The breakfast stuff was good - but Its not worth it to pay $35 per person for breakfast. Not to mention - the AC was out and we had to sit pretty far away from the buffet outside. We were told this an hour before the reservation. Overall not a great experience.

            The reduced buffet was a disappointment. The rare roast beef was unmeasurable better than the grey dry well done roast beef you usually offer.

            We were looking for a restaurant close to Meridian Hall. this restaurant has great food and excellent service. I would definitely recommend for someone looking for something right downtown on front Street.

            We had not been to HotHouse for several years. This time were celebrating my wife's birthday and with two friends. Disappointed to learn that the area close to the musicians was already reserved for a private party. We were able to see the musicians but unable to interact with them. Style of music was excellent and the volume perfect. Food was decent and not as predictable as many brunch venues tend to be. Overall great experience.

            Too many carb heavy sides. Disappointed in egg choices (only 1, scrambled). French toast was dried out and hard. Fab roast beef altho going back for seconds it had cooked a lot more. Poached salmon was excellent! Nice salad selection. No pancakes or crepes. No fruit plate. Dessert selection very small and cakes had sunken from being defrosted. Coffee and fruit juices not included. We had not been told that there was a ice cream/ sorbet section so we missed it. If there had been more mains, it would have been worth the price.

            i was very good as usual they did change the menu took the jambalaya off and put paella on which was very good but it was for two which i had to make someone share it with me . they should be able to make it for one

            An okay experience. Burger ordered medium (one of the two doneness options) arrived well done (the other option). Dining companion requested her chicken caesar salad without capers and it arrived chock full of them. Soda water was flat. Service otherwise attentive and friendly.

            Went on fathers day. Expected it to be busy which is why I made the reservations a month prior, but it was as if we walked in and they did us a favour and squeezed my family in for brunch. We were basically dining with another family. Our table was extremely close and we shared the same bench. Every time someone got up the entire bench moved. We felt and heard everything our table neighbors were doing. Awkward and uncomfortable. It would be a better Experience if we didn't dine with random people next to us and the servers checked in on us every now and then. A bit disappointed we chose HH for brunch that special day.
