   Very disappointing. Overpriced and bad service. Our party arrived on time for our reservation Prompt water service and then went downhill from there. Although we we not quite ready to order right when we were all seated our waiter never returned. Well over a half hour later we had to ask for our server Lemon ordered for our water arrived just before our food; which seemed also to take a good length of time. 3 of us ordered the smash burger. We all agreed it was not enjoyable. Dry, dense and TASTELESSfor a medium it was overcooked. The cheese was melted so much than it was hardly visible. This was an additional cost of $4.00!!! Burger looked to be about 4oz Sad

   We used to come to Hot House regularly for brunch on special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, but have not been since COVID. Today’s experience was disappointing to say the least and will probably be our last time. The changes in the menu were obviously made to cut costs and not to improve the dining experience - gone is the delicious shrimp salad, bbq chicken, and tortellini dish, among others. In addition, most of the “hot” food was lukewarm at best and it took a while for empty dishes to be replenished. As to the venue itself, the new setup is strange with the omelette station on the other side of the restaurant away from all the other hot food. More tables have been crammed in and therefore more people, larger crowds in the aisles and at the buffets, more noise, and less of a pleasurable experience making your way to and from the 2 different buffet areas. Finally, today was advertised as the special Easter Brunch. You would never had guessed with so many guests in sweats, flannels, and dirty old jeans. Perhaps on the very few special occasion days like Easter, MD, FD, and Thanksgiving, there should be a “minimum” dress code. All in all, the food was average, the service was below average and the venue lacked ambience.

   Great decor and wait staff. I ordered a salad with a chicken breast. The chicken was over charred and as dry and chewy as thick cardboard. Order something else on your salad.

   Over all marked at 3stars primarily because it is NOT wheelchair accessible. Hot house is a fantastic place however I had to dine with parents who both are elderly and have walkers and struggled to get up steps to the dining area. There is an event space at main level however for every day dining it is very difficult. There is a wheelchair accessible bathroom. But they had to struggle with our assistance up and down steps each time. I am a little bit disappointed as I see they had some Reno's but there was no thought on a ramp. I did mention to the hostess who watched us struggle.

   Pleasant atmosphere, professional and friendly service, and delicious food. Good range of dishes to choose from, yet not overwhelming. We had a lovely time!
