Welcome to HOTHOUSE, one of Toronto's destination food and wine eateries. We nourish your family like we would our own, and believe quality food shouldn't break the bank.             Went with family for the Sunday brunch buffet. Had a great time and don’t have any criticism. There was a wide variety of items at the buffet ,and everything tasted great. There was a live band too and the music really made the whole experience feel more special. Staff were friendly and helpful and very attentive. Great value for money and I would highly recommend.

            We sat on the patio so the traffic noise was sometimes VERY LOUD but overall not terrible. This can't be held against HOTHOUSE, but just and FYI. Our server, Dana, was excellent - very cheery and provided very conscientious service. The kitchen was a little backed up, so our mains were slow in arriving. Overall, the food was very good and tasty. We had a HH hamburger which was large and juicy (excellent), chicken brochette with grilled veggies (very good) and Lumache Bolognese (wonderful). We usually go there once or twice a year and are never disapointed.

            Sea food paella for 2 was delicious with some kick to the sausage. Charcuterie for 2 was also good. Split these for the 3 of us. Plenty of food for 3.

            My personal first time with the new menu. Quite different. I had the pickerel which was excellent. A lovely piece of fish perfectly cooked. Very peppery but I enjoyed every tasty bite. It was served in a warm chickpea salad with asparagus and that was delicious. Highly recommend

            I reserved dinner for two on Sunday evening, with a note that it was a birthday celebration. Given the lack of customers on a Sunday night, the service was surprisingly slow - took over an hour for our Mains from the time we sat down to the time we received them. Nothing was said about the birthday, so noting it on OpenTable was... just because, I suppose? I don't expect anything free, but some acknowledgement from staff would have been appreciated.

            Had a lovely Sunday Brunch at Hot House. Great service, a relaxing environment and what a nice treat to have live jazz while sipping your mimosa. Great destination for brunch!
