   If you like garlic bread, then you must try this restaurant. It’s the absolute best! We had reservations for lunch, but arrived about 5 minutes late. This was not a problem, they had our table and set it up, we were seated within 5 minutes. So the hostesses get a 5. The waitress was okay, not as attentive as I would like but checked in on us at the minimum. She gets a 3.5. We ordered Caesar salad, and a cup of clam chowder. The salads were adequate, I’d say about a 3.5 or 4. The clam chowder was tasty , but not hot, so it got cold fast - this would be a 2. All of the entrees were delicious, and plentiful. We had the shrimp scampi, and a fish dish (don’t remember exactly) but my aunt enjoyed it. My some had a burger and fries which was very good and cooked medium. All in all food was a 4. It’s a pricy restaurant, but the location is nice (the view is not what is was - not the restaurant’s fault since the marina has closed). The overall experience was enjoyable, and I’d go back again (I go there a few times a year for an occasion).

   It was marvelous good service and everything. Except if you decide to stay longer after you pay your bill the server ignores you as if they don’t want you to stay any longer. No water or nothing.

   The food was very tasty and the service was excellent. Our party had a club sandwich. Cobb salad and fish and chips. The portions were very generous! Our cousin said it was the best fish and chips she had ever had. The coating was very light and crispy.

   We love stopping by Horatios for lunch on the way to the airport and this latest time did not disappoint. A beautiful table overlooking the water, terrific food (the hot crab appetizer is OUTSTANDING) and Laura (who has taken care of us before) was terrific as usual ;)

    Food is great cant complain, but the service is slow we have to wait 45mins. and i was hoping i could have steak at lunch time just like before but i was wrong they dont served steak at lunch time anymore.

    Initially, it was very loud. Obviously, from all the people there. As time went by, it quieted down as people started eating or leaving. My friend enjoyed her food. Her first time there. They didn't disappoint. My food was good. My second time there.

    Had dinner the Sat before Mother's Day - party of 4. Even with a reservation, had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Took one hour+ from the time our order was placed to having our entrees served. Waiter did not come by to tell us about the delay until I asked at the 50 min mark. Shrimp in two different entrees was over cooked. Overall, food was just average. As a member of the Landry's Select Club, all previous restaurants I have visited generally acknowledge your presence. Manager comes by and checks on your meal, etc. Nothing at Horatio's. Another family of four was seated after us, got their food before ours and left at least 15 minutes while we waited for our check. Even the check took 15 minutes to process. If you plan to go here for dinner, be very patient.

    Too rustic with low light. Services was acceptable, need to continue with improvement. Services should come as needed, not when asked. The 3% additional charge is not a law, but mandatory by owner, to help them to make more profit, not readable. It will drive away customers. The food us not bad. Quality of food can be improved

    Good food, although we found it a bit pricey for what we got. The views are great and we were very happy either a window table by the water. Service was decent although it took quite a bit for us to get our order in at first and the drinks were slow to come out. We will definitely try again sometime though.

    The food quality was mediocre at best from years past. We ordered fish dishes and both were gravely overcooked. Dry. Tasteless. Rubbery. And the bill was pricey! We will not be back.

    It’s my family’s first time in Horatio’s. They’re very happy with the experience: the food, the ambience and the very warm and accommodating server Chad. We fell in love with him. He is an asset of Horatio’s who knows his craft and love what he’s doing.

    Horatio's is a seafood restaurant located in San Leandro, CA. It has been serving classic and artfully prepared seafood, quality steaks, fresh salads and other delicious offerings since 1979. The restaurant is located in a nautical setting with handcrafted wooden beams and bay views. I had the pleasure of dining at Horatio's recently and I was very impressed with the food and service. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly. I started with the lobster bisque, which was creamy and flavorful. For my main course, I had the grilled salmon, which was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious lemon sauce. I also had a side of the roasted vegetables, which were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The service at Horatio's was excellent. Our server was very attentive and friendly, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. He also gave us some great recommendations for food and wine. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience at Horatio's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was charming. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great seafood meal. Here are some of the highlights of our meal: * The lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful. * The grilled salmon was cooked perfectly and served with a delicious lemon sauce. * The roasted vegetables were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. * The service was excellent.     Drinks were not good at all. Ordered a random bottle of wine that turned out to be a good selection. 1/2 the dinner were very delicious and the other have were not good at all. Dry and over seasoned. Was busy at the time so knew server was going to be busy. She was a little rude at first but then improved her attitude.

    We usually do the overpriced Easter buffet brunch this was by far the best brunch ever. The crab dip, seafood fettuccine and prime rib were cooked to perfection! Because of this awesome experience, our Easter brunch tradition has officially changed to Horatios!
