Staff was very friendly and food was great. Noise level was very high so I wouldn’t recommend for an intimate dinner.

Meatloaf dry, fish bland, $11.50 for a shot that was barely a shot.

We had a reservation and waited 19 min for someone to come to the table to bring water and take our drink order. They only came because I started complaint to the host. The mahi mahi portion size was very small. The chocolate cake was so dry I wonder if it sat out all week.

Had reservations for 6:00 on Valentines Day, arrived about 25 minutes early. Not a problem, staff was ready and seated us right away. Our server Dan was very attentive but not bothersome. As far as the actual dinner, all I can say is.. My compliments to the chef! From the appetizer ( the baked Brie was delicious), to my Filet Mignon, which was done just the way I like it( I like it well done, but the inside was so tender and not dried out), food was delicious. If you’re a martini drinker I recommend their Lemon Drop.

I have been to hop scotch and vine before for a drink and appetizers. It was very good. However this visit I was disappointed. Upon arriving I was asked, “ is a high top table ok?’- we had reservations, it was not crowded. Why would I want a high top table? I ordered the steak salad, and my nusband had the pot roast sandwich. Though they both had a nice presentation, it was marginal. For the price, there could have been a bit more beef on the salad, The dressing was watery. For that price a chunky blue cheese is expected. The pot roast sandwich was on a smallish size roll. I can recommend this place except for apps.
Our waiter was courteous and attentive.

We had a wonderful girls lunch after wedding dress shopping at HopScotch and Vine! Our server was tremendous with being prompt and offering suggestions. The Manager even helped our server which made the afternoon really great! The food and beverages were really tasty and great for the value! Would definitely recommend and will be going back!

You request a certain table and you don't get it. Seating is cramped, wish they could rearrange to make it more comfortable for their diners. Waiter was nice but was slow in taking our order and getting us the bill. We had to ask for 2nd drinks and refills. Food was very good.

I'm not sure how we've never tried HopScotch and Vine before. We've walked past it many times. The food is outstanding, especially if you like comfort foods, and has a little something for everyone. The Red Wine Platter had just the right amount of crackers, walnuts, three cheeses and dried cranberries. The Chicken Pot Pie was amazing with the puff pastry crust and a good amount of delicious gravy so it wasn't dry. The Spicy Chicken Skewers were exactly that. So, if you don't like spicy find something else to order. The Fish and Chips were plentiful and tasty, as was the shrimp cocktail. We'll definitely be back to try the meatloaf and other dishes.

Everything is a little off because of remodeling the restaurant. Our food was still very good, service was a bit off. We have been there before, and we enjoyed it. Our party had 4 kids under the age 8, so we could have used a little more service.

Took my Cousins out to celebrate a new marriage I reserved a table we were placed right by the door in high Top tables I would’ve preferred a better location since the table was reserved and I mention that it was a special occasion in the reservation notes. The high top table were ok if it’s the only option would’ve preferred just regular tables. The waitress Debbie was ok she wasn’t attentive enough but I understand waitresses do a lot of juggling sometimes. Debbie recommend great second options once we learned the first option for our drinks wasn’t available. Drinks appetizers and main course meals were all great even the side vegetables were excellent. Will come again hopefully a little more attention to us when we need something instead off constantly looking for help.

Had a party of 11 - was shocked in 2019 to see an extra charge for using a credit card! Ruined the entire experience, which was good up until that point.

My wife and I have visited many times over the last few years and have always been very happy with food and service. Tonight I was surprised with a 4% credit card fee. I found this out only upon reviewing the bill. No mention of this on the menu and no mention of this on OpenTable.? I'd rather you just raise prices versus blaming the "increased fees" (credit card companies) and penalizing those who use credit/debit cards.

We ordered Baked Brie, Spicy Chicken Flatbread and a Texas Burger. I thought everything we tried were overpriced for the quality.

Baked Brie was served with too much raspberry jam and the jam completely overpowered the apple slices and the Brie. Spicy Chicken Flatbread was not at all spicy and the chicken on the flatbread was too dry. Texas Burger was just okay.

The goat cheese al forno is a great way to start your dining. The pot roast sandwich was very tender and tasted great. Bar area is always noisy so expect that if seated at a high top table in the bar. Service was great.

We went to HopScotch and Vine twice this week - once Thursday to 'practice' for my son taking his homecoming date, then the actual date on Saturday. The staff and manager were extremely accommodating and made the experience for my son (who also has food allergies) very comfortable. The food was excellent both times. We'll definitely be making this a frequent stop on our local dining rotation.

Were surprised when a 3.9 % up charge was added to our bill. Apparently that’s what this restaurant does if the customers don’t pay with cash. It’s posted on the door, which of course we didn’t see. The servers should advise the customers of this potential charge before orders are placed.

It was just mediocre. Big let down was making reservations for noon on a Sunday for brunch then being told the stop serving breakfast at noon! They also don't have a bartender til 1p so very limited drink orders. Wish we knew this when making the reservations. Ordered a burger and it was obviously a frozen premade burger which was disappointing.

You find something that you like there, and then they'll take if off the menu. Artichoke pasta? "We don't have that anymore. "Shredded pork nachos? "We don't have that anymore". Then I ordered a beer that was on the menu. "We don't have that anymore." Then I ordered a different beer from the menu. "We don't have that anymore". Quit taking stuff off the freaking menu. We go there to get what we like. SO ANNOYING!

I pass by this place often, but ate there for the first time this week. It was fantastic. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food delicious (I highly recommend the pot roast sandwich-it was heavenly), it was clean and the atmosphere relaxed. If I had to critique anything it would be that when eating outside there is no shade at all to relieve the strong sun in the late afternoon or early evening. It was hard to enjoy conversation with my friend because she was facing the sun and really uncomfortable. But I wouldn't let that be a deterrent in any way, because everything else was just great!

The service was poor. When I brought the issue to the manager he was accommodating and tried to rectify the situation. To be honest with you giving a free drink doesn’t make up for the poor service. Most of the waiters and waitresses seemed attentive to their customers except ours. The appetizer was above average but the main course was not to the level of quality I would expect for the price paid.
If the experience was better it would have been a place we would frequent but I do not expect to go back there are too many good restraints in the area that treat their customers better.
