Amazing! Follow the staff's recommendation and let the Fish Monger guide you through the meal with a combination of Raw/Cooked appetizer/entrée.

Get the whole fish! Really well prepared and fun to eat. Friendly service. Only negative, I don’t like the need to give a credit card to hold reservation.

We have been frequent patrons of Hooked since it first opened. The quality, service and innovative fresh fish preparation made this our top choice in the Vail valley. Traditionally, we start and end our vacation with dinner at Hooked. I’m so sad to say the quality, service and innovation have taken a major decline. We started the first night of our vacation, 1/2 at Hooked and ordered a 2lb fresh fish which we left to the sushi chef to prepare raw. In the past we have enjoyed multiple dishes creatively prepared to enhance the quality of the fish. On 1/2, the prep was rushed, poorly timed and lackluster. The meal started with delicious sashimi and was followed by mediocre ceviche, lots of over ripe avocado and heat from Serrano chile completely overpowered the fish. The final dish featured the flash fried carcass which is usually a favorite. On 1/2 it was over cooked, dry and tasteless. We chocked our disappointing dining experience to a restaurant bad night and optimistically returned on 1/6 anticipating the quality we have come to expect. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, oysters as an appetizer and requested the fish be prepared raw at the chef’s discretion. The timing was terrible. We received a tiny sashimi dish and a ‘Dynamite roll’ before the wine and the oysters. The dynamite roll was a combo of over ripe avocado, with lots of eel sauce which completely masked the fish. The oysters were served with a bottled sweet cocktail sauce - no horseradish. The grand finale was a large plate with three gloppy rolls - lots more over ripe avocado and sauce that completely overpowered the taste and texture of the fish. Again the flash fried carcass was dry and over cooked. PLEASE wok this out guys. You have something special, don’t ruin it with mediocrity.

We loved our meal at Hooked and will definitely be making a return visit when in Beaver Creek. It was a unique dining experience...we ordered a whole fish prepared how the chef wanted and it was delicious. Highly recommend.

We have walked by 1,000 times Always packed. Didn’t learn until this season they would take reservations so we snapped one up for date night. I was a bit on the shy side since I sober care for sushi but they have plenty of “cooked” options as well. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant has the potential to be outstanding and perhaps at times it is...the fish was outrageously expensive and would be worth it if it tasted like Butter....one of the fish we selected was fishy tasting and the preparations were too simple to hide that fact. The other was better but not Sushi Den Quality which for the price should have been. We were 4 people and with tip and no alcohol we spent $600.00 The raw fish preparations were far better than the cooked which lacked flavor and creativity. We really wanted to love this place but Alas it was not to be.

If you love seafood Hooked is your place. Their signature dish is called a CRIMPSTER. CRab, shrIMP,lobSTER infusion wrapped in bacon. Need I say more. Loved it. We will revisit this place every time we come to Vail.

The food was on point! It was off season and the staff made every effort to make sure we had everything we wanted. It was a limited menu, but the dish we didn’t see on the menu and asked about was brought to us without a problem. During ski season this place will be packed so highly recommend getting a reservation early.....it is well worth it even if you have to wait.

Great food. However, after making a reservation our reserved table was in the shadows, so I could hardly see the menu let alone the food when it arrived. I was seated next to the lobster tank with the motor located right next to my ear which provided a constant background noise. When spending this type of cash on dinner I think one anticipates the entire package, not just good food. Hooked, get rid of this 2-top table it's not conducive to positive feedback.

Great dinner. My wife I took our 14 and 15 year old daughters and while they like sushi they were a little nervous about fish not wrapped in rice. The first plate we received removed their fears and the 4 of us enjoyed a wonderful dinner.

forth time in four years to eat here on vacation, and never disappointed with the food. Always outstanding. But this inside of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. But the food is so outstanding it'w still worth it. This last time we ate outside, and that was a treat. it was during the Wine Festival, and live music was playing near the ice stating rink. And as alway, the food was amazing. You have to try the Crimpster....it's epic.

Great food with a creative menu - the fish is incredibly fresh and you can choose from 16 different preparations and spices. They also can serve the same fish half cooked/half sushi style. The sushi looked great, but everyone in our party had the fish which was amazing! This is a Beaver Creek gem. Small, so definitely make reservations ahead of time.
