As always, a great dining experience from beginning to end! Our waiter Greg was extremely attentive and had wonderful menu suggestions. The owner, Mark makes you feel welcome and right at home. Can't wait to go back!

It was great! Our server was very accommodating and understanding. One of our party was pregnant and our server was able to work with her needs as well as ours. She was flexible and provided with us with menus, drinks and our orders in a speedy manner. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to go back again!

Always a great meal and time

We were a group of 7 that was comfortably seated in a large booth celebrating a soon to be bride. The food selection was diverse and delicious. Cocktails were magnificent especially the coconut Martini and the kiwi concoction. Waitress was sweet , funny and efficient. The owner even treated the table to a round of jolly rancher "shots" to celebrate the upcoming nuptials. The decor is beautiful and the place is roomy. I highly recommend this restaurant ...

Favorite spot for special occasions. My boyfriend and I always get the Filet Mignon. This time the filet was cooked more medium than my requested Medium Rare but that was an anomaly. All other times it has been perfect.

walking up to bar, noticed barstool cushions ripped and stained. Once seated at bar we could smell mold. Had to back 2 feet away from bar to lose that smell. Bar top is cracked and needs replacing. Carpets are dirty and need replacing.
Had to return filet mignon ordered medium and received very rare.
The decor is way past it’s prime.
Must say bread and lobster bisque were great!

We went to celebrate what would've been our dad's 68th birthday. This was his favorite place and we try to get there when we can. it was the last restaurant he ate at and we celebrated my engagement there as well that day. We told the server, Rita, that this was our dad's favorite place and she made us drinks that was close to the ones we used to get from there 9 years ago so we can enjoy those moments. We had delicious pumpkin ravioli and crab and avocado salad and then an amazing surf & turf dinner. For dessert we decided to go for the chocolate martinis. Rita made it a point to bring us strawberries and cream and chocolate covered cheesecake pops with a candle to celebrate his birthday...and we cried. Our martinis came out and as we are enjoying the dessert, the manager comes over and thanks us for coming there to remember my dad and that the martinis were on them...and we cried. My sister and I cried every time they gave us something to remember our dad. The generosity and sympathetic nature to our visit was unbelievable and we were so incredibly touched. We wanted to relive the night all over again, that's how great we felt with how they treated us. Thank you to the manager and to Rita, our most incredible server (who cried along with us) and everyone there that made our meal more than just a meal! It was an experience and one to add to our amazing memories. It will always be remembered! (insert tears here as i write this.)

Food was good and the price fixe meal was good value. I had the short ribs risotto and my wife had the chicken. Only thing that i didnt like is that i tried to pay an upcharge to get the Tuna with the price fixe menu but they wouldnt accommodate me.

Good place to dine before a show at the Paramount, right across the street. Moderate prices, decent food, nice service, relaxed atmosphere.
Ask for a table in the back area of the restaurant if you prefer a quiet dinner - by the bar of you're with a group.
Caesar salad was fine - salmon main was cooked as ordered - veggie burger well done but not a burger in the true sense: burger on top of one bun. Very tasty however.
Wine pours generous.
Will come again if the Paramount gets a show we would actually pay to see - which might be next year!

The restaurant is a beautiful place - with great drinks! Walked in early for our 6:30pm reservation and we were offered the price fixe menu - a great value! Wonerful server!

Rita is an amazing server. Very attentive and remembers your preferences

Service was really bad. We had to constantly reach out to get her attention and it was unpleasant. Food was just OK. My steak was not really a quality cut. Appetizers were the best of the meal.

We enjoy having a drink at the bar. The bartenders do a nice job and the bar is extensive so it allows for nice conversations and room to spread out.

It might have been an off night as we have eaten here before and have been happy with the experience.

The lounge like atmosphere was nice Sal our server was excellent he explained the menu made great suggestions and was spot on with the coconut martini (BEST ON L.I..). We had a buch of small plates all A++ Try somthing diffrent if it souds good it great.

Honu is always fantastic. Beautiful ambiance, food always comes out as ordered and is delicious. Never had any issues. Will continue to dine there.

The restaurant is beautiful and the service was amazing but the main entrees were bland. The tacos we had for an appetizer were delicious though so that made up for it. Would go again but probably order multiple apps instead of an entree.

Really enjoyable meal at Honu. Appetizers were perfectly proportioned and the tuna tartare was excellent as was the crab and avocado. The New York Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and was served with delicious Au Gratin potatoes. Entrees are quite large, almost too much food, with plenty to take home.

I came with a friend for a pre show dinner at the Paramount. We were seated promptly. Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. He noted our special requests and accommodated us accordingly. The food and wine were excellent.

The price fixe menu is awesome and the service was top notch.

Everything was amazing, especially Reena the hostess. She is a doll.

We usually love going to Honu, but were a little disappointed this time around with the food. We usually order small plates and a usually delighted by the dishes, but only found most of them "okay", instead of "great". The gnocchi was a little too dense and there was too little Lobster in the lobster bisque, for instance. In the past, we've had gnocchi that just melted in your mouth.
We also usually try to get a seat by the fireplace, but this time sat at a two seater in the center of the dining room and found it much less romantic.
Service was great, though.

Food was nothing special. Service was excellent. Place was very pretty.

Week went there for Valentine’s Day dinner and had a pleasant experience. The food was absolutely delicious we both had the Valentine’s Day special.

We have been to Honu Kitchen many times. The most recent time we were placed at an extremely small table in a corner. Other than feeling like we were being "punished," everything was wonderful. If I ever return and get that table, I would request to be re-seated. It was not pleasant.

My friend and I absolutely loved Honu Kitchen & Cocktails! We cannot wait to go back again! The food and drinks were amazing! I especially loved the Tandoori Cauliflower!

Always a pleasure to dine at the Honu Kitchen. Well trained and courteous staff, delicious food, impeccable service. I have never had a meal I didn't enjoy.

Food and waitress were great. Hostess was rude and dismissive (I was told by other members of my party that I got an eye roll after I checked in). It took about a half hour after our reservation time to get seated.
