Hong Kong Cafe
Located on the casino floor, Hong Kong Cafe's signature dishes include rice roll with X.O. sauce, Macau-style roasted pork belly, fried fish ball with curry, Chinese sausage and preserved pork belly over steamed white rice, pan-seared scallop with Szechuan pepper sauce, and King seafood Vietnamese noodle soup.
All dishes we ordered were good except the beef stew curry.
Love this place. My go to Chinese food place in Vegas. Food and staff was amazing. Definitely a hidden gem.
The food and service were amazing. We enjoyed conversing with our wait person about China and about feng shui. We will go back again next time we visit Las Vegas.
Extremely rushed understanding it was CES but plenty of open tables. Extremely hard to understand waiter. I get trying to provide a real Chinese experience but not at the risk of not being able to communicate. I wouldn’t go back.
Food is terrible and way over priced
food is toooooooo ok
We went in there for a quick dinner for my son he wanted ‘Chinese rice” I order seafood rice & he ordered chicken fried rice. Had no flavor, was like eating all condiments separate, not even as. Side dish I would recommend this place. As a matter of fact I’m surprised is at the Palazzo- you are better off ordering Uber eat from Pei Wei that is a fast food.. Not worth the expense meal for this restaurant.
Appetizers were really bad too- unless that’s the point of their menu, no flavors!!!
I had looked up ahead of time their menu and decide what to order
Other people read Chinese I don’t
So I had delightful dishes very tasty
A little planning is always good
The food is good, but the prices of each dish is too expensive considering what I got.
Requested the Sweet & Sour Chicken extra spicy and was told by the server to order Kung Pao Chicken if I wanted a spicy dish because SS Chicken isn't supposed to be spicy... Isn't that my choice? The chicken was tough as the Dickens and the breading was mushy as though it was made much before the other orders at our table. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant over Panda Express.
Our order was given to the wrong table. Instead of preparing new food, we were given the same food. I complained and the server told me the food didn't looked touched. How would he know? You can sneeze or cough on food and it would still look the same! I was not happy and he eventually offered to prepare something else but his manner came off as anger towards me for complaining. Considering this, I did not trust I would get clean, fresh food.
At the end of the meal, the sever apologized and took off one of the items from our bill. But it was too late. I still felt annoyed and very disappointment in my dining experience.
Your staff should have apologized to us the moment they realized the food was given to the wrong table and they should have said at that point they would prepare new dishes. They should not wait for me to ask and they NEVER should have given us the same food claiming it was untouched! It was unsanitary and inappropriate!
This was completely unacceptable and such actions should be reported to the Board of Health!
I will never visit your restaurant again.
Service was not really attentive by The Venetian/Palazzo standards. Twice we had to catch eye contact with the waitress who has not checked on our table in a while. Steamed pork dumplings were served and packaged identical to the much less posh restaurant in the food court at The Venetian. Peking duck was good but we'd rather have half of the buns. We felt stuffed with buns while we came for the duck.
There seem to be shortage of service staff as we waited a long time at the table and nobody serve us until I walk to the counter to make my order. The food is excellent while the price is also very high
Very good food and great service. Great to see so many Chinese people eating there, too. The beef in the Beef with Brocolli was a little undercooked, but we really enjoyed all the food. Yum...we'll go back!
We had Peking duck, fresh Chinese broccoli and an amazing bottle of merlot
Definately a highlight of our trip.
See you next year!
Great service and wonderful food and selection
Way overpriced for dim sum that you can get for lunch off the strip but the service is unbelievable because the waiter paid attention to everything that you do and every thing that you may want or ask for
Our waiter disappeared half way through our meal. We had to get our check from a different waiter and finally pay to the hostess. The food was good though.
Service was slow. Staff said they had been busy with a large party - not our problem if they could not handle our booking they should not have accepted it! The dish I ordered was aubergine with pork - if there was any pork in it I could not find it! The same with the chicken & pork dish ordered by another in our group.
Great appetizers and soups. I enjoy the authenticity of an Asian inspired restaurant when the majority of customers appear and sound like they are Asian. We enjoyed it.
Staying at the Palazzo, the Hong Kong Café is a nice go-to for Chinese as it's right in the hotel. The food we ordered was served piping hot and whetted our appetite. We were craving for Beef Chow Fun, Char Siu Bau and Toasted noodle with Seafood in a light sauce. All delicious!
Good Chinese restaurant.
The portions are a little bit small but the food was satisfying and tasty. The restaurant was quite and welcoming.
Solid food, good service
Food was not great, not really tasty, the oven roasted duck as only bones, fat and skin, not even crispy by the way, the curry was kind of ready-to-eat-quality and the noodle soup was very much like water with soy sauce, very poor. Very limited service as well. Not recommandable!
The restaurant has an opening to the casino floor, so you get a side of cigarette smoke with your meal. The dim sum was ok, but the entrees neither looked nor tasted appetizing. It was a high price to pay for mediocre food. The staff was very friendly though.
Good food. The name and look can make it deceiving but I was actually really impressed with the quality of food and price. It’s my second time going here. Definitely would suggest it to others for good Chinese food not to greasy or oily and food is fresh.
Overpriced for what it is
Food was of average quality for a Chinese restaurant, noting spectacular or particularly notable. We enjoyed our meals.
At the casino . Great authentic Chinese food with great choices . Recommend the congee soup
Stopped here before seeing a show. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, they check on you during your entire meal to make sure everything is fine. The courses are paced fine and not rushed. Everything we ordered was delicious and prepared as ordered. We will be back when we are in Vegas again.
Wonderful -excellent service. Authentic...
I would definitely be back! Yelp had only 3 stars, so I hesitated, but definitely deserves more than 3 stars. I visited MOTT 32 and hongkong cafe while I was in vegas, but this place is just great as MOTT 32
Food was average at best. Very salty and little flavor. Service was a bit slow even though restaurant was not crowded. Just kind of “meh”.
When staying at the Palazzo or Venetian and looking for reasonably priced, great tasting Chinese food, do not pass up Hong Kong Cafe! Portions are great, taste is amazing, service with smiles and priced just right compared to many other restaurants. Even though they are on the casino floor you are still able to sit and have a good conversation, sit back and relax.
Food was average, waiter seemed annoyed by us.
The food was fresh but not very flavorful. We ordered Kung Pao chicken which is usually packed with flavors and it was bland. We also got scallops and although they were spicy, not much else in terms of flavors.
The decor is lovely and the service was good. We are locals and will stick to Chinatown for Chinese food where we have had some amazing meals.
A great place for small bites or large and perfect served family style!
Expensive Chinese take out quality food. Food didn’t remind me of Hong Kong at all. The lackluster service did though! This place is not worth the money they charge.
Near the Palazzo entrance. Had the Chow Fun. It was ok but had sort of an overwhelming lemony flavor or something. Roast duck was presented with fanfare and tasted great. Nice atmosphere for a business lunch or dinner.
