Nice casual to slightly upscale ski resort dining. The menu is a bit limited but what they have is goid. Great if you're staying at the condos at Solitude or just a short drive from Brighton.

It took forever to get seated. The host (also manager) kept coming to and from the host stand and then taking food to tables. There were 4 families (us being last) in line and we over heard all others not have reservations so he was trying to squeeze them in. My opinion, he should be servicing the people who followed the rule of reservation required. After being seated we ordered soup. It was a “creamy” potato but was not creamy at all. Still good. We then ordered a steak and a buffalo burger. Fast forward 1.5 hours we finally got served. Thank goodness we ordered soup. The waiter told us 3 or 4 time we were the next one up. (I cook. A steak doesn’t take that long to cook at medium rare. I think they had to butcher the cow first). The food was good. I’d go back if they managed their staff a little better. We saw plenty of people working.

Although the server I did feel lied to us I do not blame him. He was extremely polite and was just doing his job.

Sorry to be harsh. Just sharing my experience.

Honeycomb grill serves a really good brunch. While the menu is not extensive, it is well put together, and very well executed.
The patio in the summer with great view on the mountains makes it a great place to get a break from the Salt Lake valley heat.
We will be back!

Cute place. Walking distance from our rom which is always great. Food was average at best but fine for a ski lodge restaurant I suppose. Wait staff was extremely friendly.

Enjoyed dinner very much. 4 of us. All had different entrees. All great. Came in at 5:30 so the crown was slim. We're ok with that. Food and salads were notable, certainly would recommend to others.

What a great restaurant and the ambiance was fantastic. Wonderful service and delicious food. Not overly priced for the quality of food presented. Very comfortable with a great blend of professionalism. Not stuffy for the casual patron and perfectly acceptable for the dress up evening. We will be back! Thanks

Went there for brunch, this was the second time in 3 weeks, it's up the canyon so we have to go a little extra for the brunch, and it is well worth it. We had the waffles, they didn't have the banana's like before, but it was still great, one person had the flat bread with eggs and other items on it, and I will have that the next time, hopefully next week end, before they close for summer. It is beautiful looking out at the mountain, and the staff is terrific.

The food is very good, and our waitress was very pleasant. It made all the difference to have someone smiling and willing to accommodate us.

Most of the dishes we have eaten at Honey Comb have been delicious and cooked well. However, I ordered the blitzes. Never have I ever had something H.C. calls a blintz. I suggest they take it off their menu.

We celebrated my wife's birthday with their Sunday brunch with a very nice patio table. The food was nicely done and enjoyed by all. The service was slow and perhaps they were just understaffed, but overall, a nice experience.

Dined twice during our stay. Food and wine was very reasonably priced especially considering it was a ski area restaurant and provided well rounded choices.
Food was nothing memorable. I had salmon one night and it was never asked how I wished it done (medium, rare, well done), it came well done.
Considering dining choices were minimal at Solitude it was fine.
Understand you come to Solitude for the skiing, not for the nightlife and food.

We are staying in the condos in the village at solitude, and hoped a close by dining experience would satisfy our hungry bellies and be easy access. The service was friendly but the food was poor, undercooked and underwhelming. Was unfortunate because we spent the rest of our vacation eating in the Salt Lake Valley to avoid more disappointment. It seems the quality has become a bit complacent since there are not many food options up canyon. BUT THE SKIING IS AWESOME!

A warm and comfortable place, good food, and a restaurant where our kids build fond memories. Basic menu with tweaks to make it a fancier place, although execution can sometimes be a little off (too much dressing on salad, an over cooked bread pudding, and greasy soup of the day) honeycomb for us is still a special meal that our family loves. Great soda treat for the kids (Jackson hole product), a good kids menu, sturdy entrees for adults, and a killer view, honeycomb provides the perfect setting for families and couples to have a cloth napkin experience, yet friendly enough to bring out fun stories from the day's experience. Even if the food isn't knockout amazing, it's great enough and fair enough an experience that draws us back everytime we come to solitude. I hope it sticks around for many years.

Jessica, Sam, Danielle, and Heather made us feel like guests to their family home. Off the hook Jalapeno/blackberry margarita, flourless Chocolate Cake, Cajun Shrimp Mac and Cheese, and the thickest tenderest largest bone on pork chop (it looked like a big prime rib!) Every meal, every server, every day was awesome.

...and the view is beautiful. Services was terrible. Menu was not as advertised on website; no entrees, no daily specials, and the food as described by our server was average at best. We must have ordered the wrong items, as ours wasn't even average. The evening was topped off by being told the espresso machine has been broke for about a year and management doesn't care about getting it fixed. Seriously, it's more than the espresso machine that needs fixing.

Lots of kids. $16 pretty good burgers. Broiled chicken $18 was good. $11 Caesar was good. $35 steak was overcooked and half fat. The chicken tenders were awful. The frito misto was terrible. Good wine list, expensive. Crazy loud unprofessional head cook can be heard goofing off from anywhere in the room. Those horrible fluorescent lights in the high ceiling, that went away in the kimmi's era, are creeping back in. Otherwise a nice room.

Stick to basics, and Honeycomb is expensive and ok. Your only family restaurant choice in the complex.

Silver fork is much much better, authentic, fun, less expensive, and they will pick you up for free at solitude when you call them, usually in 5 or 10 minutes. St Bernard's is very good.

The decor is warm and inviting so we were excited for a good meal. The waitress was kind and friendly but the food was not good at all. We canceled all future reservations there while staying nearby. I would blame that it was valentines day and they were busy but they were only half full. Wish we could give a better rating but we just can't.

Our family of 4 dined at Honeycomb on thanksgiving. The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the polenta with wild mushroom to start. I thought this was the best part of the meal. It was so yummy. Then butter lettuce salad which had apples and cheese and just the right amount of dressing. Then for dinner the turkey which was delicious with stuffing and mash potatoes and sweet potatoes all wonderful. My other family members tried the potato soup which they loved! Goat cheese appetizer and shrimp cake appetizer. My son ordered the steak which he said was great. Not one complaint. We were so full, took our deserts to go. !!

Went for Sunday brunch and the food was very good. Some small issues on initial service but the staff is personable and made up for a few early misses in the table set-up and service. Breakfast items are unique and very flavorful without being too exotic. Choices appealed to three generations at the table. The menu is new and they should grow more familiar with the offerings with another Sunday under their belt. Definitely worth the trip to Solitude if the weather is nice or if you plan on skiing during the season.

We stayed in Solitude - Eagle Springs West - our condo was fabulous, and the skiing was perfect. Honeycomb Grill however was beyond disappointing - they ran out of Pizza Dough our first visit - pizza is a main section of the menu. They ran out of hamburgers two out of three visits, and the rest of the food was so so. It is one of two sit down restaurants in the village so options were limited. Not a great start for this place...
