Very creative cuisine. The pan roasted halibut was absolutely delicious. Although the menu is fixed there is still quite a bit of variety if you like salads and vegetables.
The team accommodated a surprise birthday party for my husband! Truly grateful for their hospitality.
Family dinner: food was awesome, service polite, friendly, attentive and intuitive. Thank you Homestead!
The food was very disappointing. Very. The table was very dark - no candles even; we couldn't see our food - I still don't know what I bit into in my appetizer, but it was hard and not food-like, and I was scraping something black from my teeth and tongue for ten minutes. Just Yuck. Also, there were no heat lamps, so it was rather cold.
Everything was great!
It was a wonderful evening. Food was fantastic. Server was great. Highly recommend Homestead. They accommodated every single dietary concerns we had. All this stayed inside of their prefix menu
This was one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had. They have tables outside with heaters so it is really comfortable. The food was delicious. They had gnocchi on the menu, which I love, I order whenever I can, and I make at home. This gnocchi was without a doubt the most delicious I have ever tasted, and I've eaten gnocchi in Italy!
Everything else was absolutely delicious, too. We loved every bite of every dish, and would wholeheartedly recommend Homestead Restaurant!
Great night out. Four course set menu was delicious.
As always, impeccable food, farm to table. Delicious.
Fresh, innovative, and perfectly executed food. Excellent wine and beer menu as well.
Is was so nice to have a dining experience where the staff was welcoming, attentive and knowledgeable about their food. Also, the outdoor dining situation made it such that I could actually the people at my table speak. The norm is to have so much noise at restaurants these past few years. Memorable meal!
Wonderful menu! I started with the duck liver mousse, followed by very tender quail with stewed greens in a spicy sauce. The highlight of my meal was the pan seared halibut. The server allowed me to choose different side dishes to make it just the way I liked it.
This restaurant includes the service in the price: I like that very much. There is no need to calculate the appropriate gratuity.
Love Homestead! They change the menu frequently, their dishes are really interesting, and the ambiance is cozy :)
The prix fixe was delicious - we loved every single dish. It's more affordable on weeknights, which was a nice surprise. Wine list was wonderful and the desserts surprisingly lovely. A treat!
Everything was excellent. The meal was $250 for 2 with an excellent bottle of wine including tax and gratuity. A great value given the quality of food and 4 course prix fixe menu.
Loved every dish, and had a great recommendation for wine.
It's our first time visiting Homestead and it was our anniversary too. The food was outstanding, every dish was full of flavors and ingredients seemed fresh. From the quail to artichokes to asparagus to shrimp, all great. Due to CoVid we were seated in an alley outdoors and towards the end of our meal it started getting cold. They have heaters but they are not too effective. Nevertheless it was a great experience and we loved it. Also got cookies as a surprise on our anniversary. Will go back again.
Outstanding. Lovely attention to detail and warm service.
Lovely 4 course fixed price dinner. Very kind waiter, made everyone feel welcome. Very nice wine selection
Terrific! Thank you for accommodating our needs as well!!!
My experience at homestead was pleasant. The food was good. Each plate was the perfect portion for a three course meal. The artichoke salad was my least favorite and the pasta with quail egg was my most favorite. The staff was friendly enough. The outdoor dining experience was not the best; I think the tables could be wider, the heaters could be bigger and the chairs could be more comfortable. We also had some rosé wine that was served chilled and it was very good. Overall I think the experience could be better and the food didn't "wow" me but it was good none the less.
Homestead continues to serve outstanding food under difficult circumstances, all tables outside. However, even on a windy night the heaters kept everyone warm and the friendly service, the creative food made for a wonderful evening.
The dishes are interestingly plated, the choices adequate, and everything is very tasty.
Wonderful as usual.
We ate outdoors. It was cold and their heaters were not working well. Service was a little slow and the menu was fixed price. Food was good, but I think I will wait until we can eat indoors again. Not their fault, I should have figured that out.
Excellent food and service! We loved this place .
The food was exquisite, emphasis on fresh and local. Good COVID precautions. Server was very nice and helpful.
Seating is outdoors so a little bit of street noise and exhaust, but, because it is Piedmont Avenue, not much.
Front of house chatting up the men (only) to complain about his business, costs, regulations etc. kinda glad I was invisible, but still.
We sat outside and were very comfortable with the spacing of the tables. We were celebrating our anniversary and it felt like a special meal and occasion. Everything was delicious and the presentation and service were lovely. We appreciated the gift of cookies in honor of the occasion.
A delightful night out at Homestead. A delicious menu, friendly atmosphere and health protocols in place.
Best meal we’ve had in a long time! Good covid protocols and sicially distamced
Prices seem higher - should add a dollar sign to the ratings
Every single dish nailed it, and we ate everything on the menu (not hard when it’s a highly curated 4-course menu, but still fun to “order the menu”). Beautiful ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and a good pace to service (not rushed, not annoyingly protracted).
Delicious! So wonderful to be back at Homestead. Every course met or exceeded expectations. Servers, team is welcoming, informed and create a great vibe!
Excellent service, food, and vibe!
Good quality homey meal. Service was friendly/inviting.
The first three courses were tasty with a full range of flavors from bright to roasty. Dessert seemed more like an after though - if it weren't for prix fixe, I would not have gotten the dessert.
Portions were spot on - we left more than satisfied.
Overall, a good date night out.
Excellent food, great service, bread was amazing
Incredible food, lovely ambiance. Perfect for a romantic date night.
We had a lovely dinner in the courtyard because indoor dining has not re-started yet. The food was inventive and delicious, and the service is top flight. Remains one of the best.
Not impressed. Flavors were lacking but the staff was nice. Wouldn’t recommend.
We walked in and were greeted by the Covid Gestapo no smiles on anyone’s face that works there and spent $340 on dinner which was outrageous for a price fix during this time.. and a glass of house Chardonnay is $19 !
Can do better elsewhere for that kind of money. This ambience and decor was not good either.
Suggestion: Smile, greet people with warmth and reduce your prices...and you may have a chance in post Covid.
Always excellent food and service. The new outdoor heaters were a good addition.
